Really good job from Jordan's Mum. Back in the seventies in Britain we only got the big weekly shows from America, like Charlies Angels and Rockford etc. However Jordan's Mum managed, in a few moments to 'share the show' with us. Many Thanks - and what a fabulous building inside.

Loved WKRP In Cincinnati ! I worked at 2 different radio stations in Texas during my college years from 1968=1972, and we had virtually every one of those characters from WKRP working there at one time or other -- it was always like a melodrama around both of those stations, and WKRP reminded me of those days.
Thanks Jordan, and your Mom for the tour and insights to the show, much enjoyed and appreciated!

I loved WKRP. I thought it was a great show. Your vlog reminded me when I went to visit my friend in Cleveland he said he had somewhere special to show me. He took me to downtown Cleveland where they filmed the Drew Carey show. The Ohio residents are proud to show off their locals that make it into TV Shows. I love the old buildings. All the gold and artwork everywhere. Too bad we don't have architecture like that anymore. Thanks for this great vlog. I can't wait to see part two. Your mom is a lovely lady and it's always nice to see Jah. Stay safe and take care.

One of my all time favorite shows. I was in high school when it was on, so I didn't watch it on a regular basis, but I watched episodes on Me TV a few years ago. I always liked checking out the cool posters and cardboard cutouts in the DJ booth. Frank Bonner ( Herb Tarlek) directed some episodes.Hugh Wilson made a cameo appearance as a cop in the episode where the electronic store gets held up while Johnny is during an in-store show to promote a sale. Beautiful old building. This was a treat. Thanks Jordan☺💝🎆

The PNC bank building was the Central Trust building at the time show airing. So glad y'all got to see these landmarks. We live in Northern Kentucky and I think we all too often take for granted the history we have downtown.
For my two cents the Turkey drop episode is still the funniest episode of a sitcom EVER! And kudos to the show for fighting to tastefully address the who concert tragedy. It was a hard episode to make, but it was very well done.

Before he passed, Hugh Wilson managed to get roughly 90% of the music licensed for the last Shout! Factory DVD release of "WKRP". Johnny Fever once again rocks out to "Queen of the Forest", but "Dogs" is still missing.
An earlier DVD release of the first season had the music licensing issues but featured DVD commentary for both the pilot episode and "Turkeys Away", provided by Hugh Wilson, Loni Anderson, and Frank Bonner. Highly recommended if you are a fan, especially if you are not hip to the story about which of the two actresses was cast largely on the basis of a magazine cover.
