Fun fact: right clicking the the egg sends the egg straight down, hit and enemy with the egg alt fire and get style for “tactical egg strike”, and if I’m correct it does a bit more damage than the regular egg fire

Yeah no it's not truly egg-only, but the egg doesn't give blood for healing properly (it does sometimes as you'll see but not consistently), so the only way to properly egg-only Minos is basically to no-hit him for at least like half the fight, and I didn't feel that committed to that stupid challenge to learn how to no-hit Minos.
Interesting question. Owl Father was my hardest Sekiro boss personally, I'd say Minos was harder in a lot of ways on first brush he def took me more attempts to beat, but its tough to compare to souls games cause the bosses are just real wars of attrition. The one I will say was *definitely* harder than Minos was Orphan of Kos, that boss almost broke me. Was like an 8 hour slog just to beat him fuckin once.
tried the funny idol thing but it didn't work as well since it seems they've switched from snap to grid placing to smoother placing that more closely follows your crosshair, if anyone knows how to switch it back to snap to grid or how to stack alot of them in a corner even with the smoother placing i'd very much like to know so that i can efficiently launch myself into the stratosphere!
