@The_Loathsome the padres will get lucky if they even make the playoffs or a get a playoff spot there's still 3 and a half months left until the season is over let's see how everything plays out for ever team anything can happen tho remember that
MK former Yankee getting it done in SD ❤tough start today still a good pitcher. he was sensational as a reliever and starter in new york i never wanted him to go but we had to get soto in the deal.
The playoff system is broken. No way this team deserves a spot. Make it with less teams. Otherwise playoff means nothing. Its just to remove teams soooooo bad as cws or mia. No.
@@davidfhth6842 Just because the WC teams you mentioned advanced to the World Series or even won it doesn't mean that they deserved to be in the playoffs at all, it just proves how flukey baseball can be. Look at this game for example, the Brewers fluked their way into 5 runs that inning. Historically great teams still lost 1/3 of their games and if you introduce more teams into a small sample size known as the postseason, you dilute the 162 game season. Keep in mind that MLB owners wanted 7 teams from each league to be in the postseason before settling on 6 with the players' union which means that they care more about tv revenue than the competitive integrity of the sport. The byes for the top 2 teams in each appear to be more of a disadvantage as baseball is very much a rhythm sport and having almost a week off can do more harm than good.
I agree. It's all about tv revenue for the owners who originally wanted 7 teams in each league before settling on 6 teams with the players' union. It really dilutes the 162 game season when you introduce mediocre teams to the postseason who can get hot at any moment and make a run since baseball is probably the flukiest sport out of the big 4.
Also it's baseball, where the two best players in the game can be on the same team for over half a decade with absolutely nothing to show for it. Because it's a team sport.
As a Japanese Dodgers fan, the last thing I want to see in the wild card slot is the Padres. You guys are weak, so why are you so hostile to the Dodgers?
The Padres can be the most confusing team in baseball and I’m saying this as a padres fan
I’m agreeing with you as a Padre fan lol

@@Ricky-sports-lover no, actually it will take a miracle of fuckery for them not to make it--but they pulled it off last year so they can do it again.
If we face yall in playoffs we’re prob not winning lol. As brewers fan
Not really. They're just mid.

Since I started seriously watching Dodgers games this season, I've noticed one thing: the rest of the NL West is pretty much just MID or worse.😅
Youre in for a treat come october
@@Dantheman5444 MIDs have no chance while Ohtani is there.🤭
@@KanetsuguNaoe1112 we already beat the Chavez Ravine with samurai included.
@@KanetsuguNaoe1112i know you're just a bandwagoning fanboy, but Ohtani hasn't ever bested any mid in the post season, because he's never been.
