I was at the game. I feel sorry for the fans that decided to leave after the Nats scored those runs in the 10th frame. The comeback was epic, with a fireworks show to cap it off
I’m in Vegas and had a lot of money on this game. When the nats scored those runs I got up and went to my room. When I checked the score again I couldn’t believe it.
Merrill is Him. We need to build around Tatis Jr ND Merrill. This is a great example that you should never give up on your young prospects. Also Profar is basically a hero in SD. Dude is Senior Padres the way he's been playing! LFGSD!

Why would you ever leave a game early? There isn't a clock in baseball (well, you know what I mean!), so it's never truly out of reach. Leaving early just guarantees that you'll miss out on any potential special moments like this. I saw one of the only Padres walk-offs last year and it was awesome. :)

The way extra innings works now is that the last out of the previous inning starts at second base. This was a rule change to help speed up extra inning games to a conclusion. So the last out in the 9th will start the 10th at second base. The last out in the 10th will start the 11th at second base. The last out in the 11th will start the 12th at second base. Etc etc etc…
