Malaysia’s US$100 billion China-backed Forest City was meant to house 700,000 people, but almost no one lives there. And that makes the ghost town a great place for TV producers to film their shows.

Forest city is a ghost town which also makes it an ideal filming location. The project is majority foreign owned and their owners don't live there.

Actually amazing how popular that the royalty of Johor and the Chinese's developers had to issue a statement on why Forest City is not a failure project since 2021 🤔🤔🤔

What a waste. Many people wouldn't mind having a home there.

Malaysia ghost town is next level. It is unimaginable such luxurious apartments no one wanted. However once the ghost town connected with LRT, imaginable are the regrets of not owning it
