Keep your heels on the floor. Your heels should not be coming off the floor on a front squat, especially with weightlifting shoes. It may be a mobility issue.
Way to grind it out! Most lifters have no idea how difficult this is, because they never do front squats. Very impressive!

50 years old here stated to do Fsquats again have not done it for 10 years now at 315 it's pretty good

Do you specialise in FS or you are doing them on / off.
On and off now. But I spent a year specifically focusing on front squats so it would always be strong from strength carryover on back squat.
hate front squats-not sure whether its hip flexibilty-but back squats is fine

@Agalloch1234 yes. I'm anterior dominant. Not a mobility issue but usually happens on max attempts.
