Yeah it'll be interesting to see if any other companies implement it in time. It's a kinda weird feature but there's definitely use-cases for it. The thing that surprised me most is how in-depth it is, with a ton of configuration options. Really feels like someone's passion project at Nikon 😀
That's the Nikon Snapbridge app, which actually isn't too bad. I've had a lot of trouble getting it connected reliably to the Z9 though - the only reliable mode I've found is the new STA mode where you connect over a wireless LAN rather than directly to the camera (which I did here using a portable router).
