Thank you for filming. You do an excellent job! It’s unfortunate that man was so disrespectful, but he seemed disrespectful to the woman taking his pictures as well, so just an unpleasant person.
The guards have to be consistent. The one guard and horse is all the way in the box, an Asian man stands in the box posing and even strokes the horse before leaving. Others saw this so the next Asian man gets in the box to pose and the guard tells him to get out. Can't shout out one and let others in, touching the horse. One girl was reaching her long arms in the box, touching the horse, guard said nothing. Just get rid of the signs.
It’s so disappointing to watch the guards witness people touching the horses and not respecting their own rules that were made to help the horses and them and not tell the people DO NOT TOUCH THE HORSE Such a shame… waste of time to have made the signs if they’re not going to be enforced!
Why would the trooper allow her to pet the horse? this causes nothing but confusion to the tourist and you have guards that absolutely enforce the rule, then you have those that don’t do there job and make it harder for those trying to enforce the rules. If you can’t enforce the rules you have no business in that horse! Such a huge difference in the reds and blues! Blues put up with absolutely no nonsense and rules will be obeyed, they demand respect which they should, much respect to them!
The success of this new "rule" 🙄 depends almost wholly on the guards enforcing it, and many just turn a blind eye, and continue to let tourists do what they want to those poor horses! Have some pride man! Speak up! If this guard, and the others that won't enforce this "rule" 🙄 choose not to enforce it, than they don't need to be out there. He's ultimately breaking the "rule" 🙄 by assisting the tourists in breaking it. It's gone from ridiculous to ludicrous at this point! It's making them laughingstocks!
He is there to due his duty which is Guarding the surrounding areas not keep his eyes on stupid ignorant people, it would be better if the police had someone out there to make sure they obeyed the rules
CO’s are you there? Are you in command? Is there no punishment for Troopers not helping to protect their horses? If you don’t want them involved then use alternative approaches to protect the horses. It’s out of control.
Sign says don't touch the horse. Guard sits there and allows them to touch the horse. Just sits there putting his time in, and doesn't say a damn thing to these people.
I couldnt believe that tourists had been allowed to get away deliberately breaking the rules. The new sign couldnt be seen as tourists constantly stood in front of it. Police officers were unfortunately stood close by totally absorbed conversing with each other. Children were almost inside the box with the horse whose fault would it have been had they been bitten. Please step up and enforce the rules its not good enough if only a few step up to the plate. Our soldiers male female & horses deserve respect to carry on with their duties without such disrespect. Sorry guys but we are proud of you all dont let us fown
😮 We are all tourists. The difference is we are RUclips tourists. We watch everything like a hawk from above. We see everything and we can hone onto the foibles of human nature. The tourists who mill around Buckingham blindly are like mice. They see only their immediate needs to touch a horse, touch a guard, pose for pictures . That’s most prominent to the cost of appropriate and honorable behavior. Some nationalities are worse than others . Yes I have witnessed that at Buckingham. Although I loath the ignorant and rude behavior, I have learned a lot about people in general and myself. I can tell one thing for sure… I will always be extra careful to respect where I am and to follow the rules. ; otherwise I have no right to complain.
I think the difference is most of the foreign tourists don't seem to recognise that these wonderful animals are not there for their enjoyment. A lot of countries use equine animals as commodities and pack animals, not as something that people love and respect
What is it?.. and anyone who thinks “ signs are needed on both sides “… this woman at 15.56 besides 2 warning signs with them almost smacking her on her face .. but still go ahead with a stretched out hand towards the horse wanting to maul the horse’s face.. now come on..” she doesn’t look blind to me “…?
They are very cruel these people to their animals in their own countries .. i’ve heard and seen a lot about it.. but come here & play all “ love the horse “ & crowd up on these horses ..” no pawing , mauling & molesting the animals “ is a move to the right direction
A lot of them touch the horse for no other reason than to get a reaction from the guard. Maybe it's a case of the guard not rising to their bait. Telling them off is just counter productive as it will just encourage more to touch the horse to get a reaction. Maybe when when they realise the guard is not reacting the message will eventually get through. Ah the joys of social media and Thick Tok.
Why do we think the guards are not telling people not to touch, there acting like they don’t see it or they turn there heads not to yell???? Now they need to up hold that sign… if there afraid to then put other guards on the horse that has a voice. And another sign on the other side up high. 😊
You need to put the sign of don't touch the horse on both sides of his hut. People are so rude and think they' re entitled to do want they want. How rude and disrespectful.
This royal guard is not keen on his job of keeping the tourists away from the horse. Seems like he does not care. He is getting paid to sit on a horse. What a joker
His CO should reprimand the Trooper. They should protect their horses and be forceful. So in the Uk military it’s ok to ignore rules put out by the command structure? No consistent enforcement. Say CO’s your a joke right now.
The tourist do see & know the sign as it is a warning. They touch the horse because they want to this will get them a picture which is against military rules. The police should reprimand them & SHAME THEM. These people are cunning & laugh at these rules to protect these beautiful creatures. They smirk & laugh. The troopers must stand & protect.
What use is the trooper if he isn't interested in protecting his horse from abuse, they are even going into the box also not allowed, about as much use as a chocolate fireguard! The blues and royals are doing far more they are telling the people to leave the horse alone why are the lifeguards doing nothing at all poor horse. Hiding in the box is ridiculous😡🤬
He didn't forget to shout out in fact, he seems to look the other way when tourists are touching the horse. I don't know what he's guarding. There are only 2 guards that I see shout out. One is a female guard and the other is the black guard who doesn't let anything or one get past him.
Added comment absolutely useless trooper, there for a pay check! Does the commander ever look at these videos or comments! He couldn’t care less to do his job and honestly had no business out there in that uniform, representing the military! Now the blues have my respect they take no nonsense follow the rules and represent that uniform with pride and demand respect!
They need to put a surround fence where the horse and kingsguard is safe and the tourist don't encroach on their personal space. These poor horses and soldiers, what they go through for that hour probably seems like several hours with what they put up with
This facility is poorly run. Officers stand in a circle yakking while tourists disobey the rules. The mounted guards are mute. I guess they want another fainting woman blow up in the news.
I think the signs were put up so the military would not be sued if a horse bit someone ( like the fainting Chinese lady a week or two ago) It is up to the individual guard to assess his horse's temperament and decide if it is safe for the tourists and isn't unduly distressing his mount.
People can still get a good photo without literally standing next to the horse! Plus the guards need to shake head no or say no touching when they try to touch horse or actually touch it
Foreigners, and sadly some Brits, are given way too much leeway!!!! Personally I'd paint a box around the horse and guard, and add a universally understood sign that you will incur a fine if you enter it!! Making sure that there is someone present to enforce it!!! Too harsh??? 😉
Since most of the guards say nothing when someone touches the horses, I’d stand them and yell every time someone does…this is stupid, the have words and now universal signs and people still do it
These tourists don't understand that these horses are anything but decorative. If this were Pre-WWI 'Horseland' in London, people would know that these are beautiful but still working horses among a myriad of horse types and not so unusual as they are now in the current city landscape. I reckon citizens wouldn't bother them and would consider gawkers and tourists really a bit much and worthy of a conversation with the Bobby.
Annethum5116 I totally agree with that why are the kings guards not yelling more at the nimvits same with the guards in the square . And I saw that the odd video has a box at the entrance of the guards box that should be respected as well when it comes in place .
Please stop putting guards out front who are afraid to tell the tourist not to touch the horse and follow the rules stay out side the box, it's so much better for the horses without all that touching..
I agree @Kimberly-dn4mc I know it's been a month ago when you commented the king's guards are to soft and so are the police with guns they all should be on the same page if the tourist don't want to be yelled at than leave or listen the signs can't be more plane to see
Los oficiales deberían ser más firmes con los tontos que siguen tocando los caballos. Es una falta de respeto tocarlos cuando se indica específicamente no hacerlo.

Thank you for filming. You do an excellent job! It’s unfortunate that man was so disrespectful, but he seemed disrespectful to the woman taking his pictures as well, so just an unpleasant person.
The Troopers need to tell these people, in a polite and gentle voice, “GET THE HELL AWAY FROM THE HORSE, please☺️ !
These tourists are just IGNORANT, ARROGANT, and TOTALLY DISRESPECTFUL
Guard Troopers are NOT there to YELL at tourists.

GUARDS NEED TO ALL BE CONSISTENT WHEN IT COMES TO NOT TOUCHING THE HORSE.😮😊
The public should be behind the bollards at all times
The no touch picture should be higher on wall so clear to see, also would help if police told offenders off.
The guards need to yell it out. That way everyone will here it. One person touches the horse and not stopped then others think they can.
Listening to the crowd talking you can hear more Asian people talking to any other kind of people.
The Troopers need to tell these people, in a polite and gentle voice, “GET THE HELL AWAY FROM THE HORSE, please☺️

Police need to be there & to keep crowds back, it's like a frenzy of photo taking. Ty
Where is our lady police woman who oftens comes out to protect the horses & tells the tourists to give them room. WE love to watch her.
The sign says “do not touch the horses”
Does anybody just take a picture? Without the hand signs, finger signs, fish lips, or thinking their the next top model? 😂😂😂😂
I'm confused. Why are the signs up if people are still allowed to touch the horses. 🤔
The CO needs to reprimand troopers who don’t help enforce the rules!!! No exceptions.
Why aren't the king's guards stopping touching the horse. What good is the sign if not enforced.
Why are the guard never paying attention because of rude stupid people touching the horse or them and not staying anything.🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
He is there to due his duty which is Guarding the surrounding areas not keep his eyes on stupid ignorant people, it would be better if the police had someone out there to make sure they obeyed the rules

Give Demerits for not correcting tourists behavior.
Yes they ignore the signs but the guard is not saying anything either.
Harmony of the ignorant tourists who can't understand even the pictographic sign, and the irresponsible guards! Disgusting!!!
This isn't a petting zoo!
Não é mesmo, no zoológico você não pode passar a mão nos animais
That lady 'mannequin' guard doesn't deserve to be a horse guard! She disobeys the new rule! If not, she is really incompetent!

The troopers need to be reprimanded by the CO for not enforcing rules. What’s wrong with the UK military command structure?
Guards still letting people pet horses!!!
I don’t understand why the guards are not enforcing the signs.?
Apparently the Horse Guards need to put up flashing neon signs, with pictures, to declare the rules. And they need to be up above the gate box!
Amazing how many people make nuisances of themselves just to pose by a horse!
😮 We are all tourists. The difference is we are RUclips tourists. We watch everything like a hawk from above. We see everything and we can hone onto the foibles of human nature. Ppl just dont care about the signs, meant for everyone else not he/she
Still letting touch horse! And go in the box?
Guards have to enforce it, no touching means no touching
No, they have discretion.
Management obviously does not want the tourist to behave and show respect. Change them.

Some people are just oblivious to what is going on around them, but I agree if the guard isn't going to tell them, no point in having the sign🙄
What good is the signs when guards not enforcing
Ok Guard speak UP! Defend your horse. Demand RESPECT!
To many rude tourists and they are ignoring the signs. Pitful
As pessoas continuam tocando os cavalos… muito triste…😮
You need to put the sign of don't touch the horse on both sides of his hut. People are so rude and think they' re entitled to do want they want. How rude and disrespectful.
Signs are on the wrong side of the arch, people coming through the gates don't see it especially as people are standing in front of it taking photos.
It wouldn't matter if the signs were 10ft tall with flashing lights they would still ignore them
Bedankt
The signs need to be on both sides.
In multiple languages apparently.
This royal guard is not keen on his job of keeping the tourists away from the horse. Seems like he does not care. He is getting paid to sit on a horse. What a joker

Think it's about time they really shouted at touching the horse maybe he's a new guard
Bullshit. You are disrespectful with your criticism. The trooper has discretion based on knowing the horse behavior.
Abuse ?!? STFU ? There isn’t 1 guard that would let anyone abuse their horse. Geshhh. Drama much ?
He wasn't "hiding in the box" he was keeping the horse from the direct sun
So then they need someone there to tell them then I guess simple and plain
I guess the Guard forgot to react!
He’s a joke and should be reprimanded by his CO.
He didn't forget to shout out in fact, he seems to look the other way when tourists are touching the horse. I don't know what he's guarding. There are only 2 guards that I see shout out. One is a female guard and the other is the black guard who doesn't let anything or one get past him.
It's lovely to see the horses so relaxed without dozens of people scrambling to touch them for hours at a time.
These guards like to make fools of themselves! There is now a sign, enforce it! Unbelievable.
It sounds like Wembley market here
Added comment absolutely useless trooper, there for a pay check! Does the commander ever look at these videos or comments! He couldn’t care less to do his job and honestly had no business out there in that uniform, representing the military! Now the blues have my respect they take no nonsense follow the rules and represent that uniform with pride and demand respect!
Why are the Life Guards saying anything, the Blues & Royals seem to be telling people to not touch the horses, but not the Life Guards🥴
I guess they want another fainting woman blow up in the news.
no one wants to follow rules……. Next summer, the horses will be completely shut off….
Thank you to Police who do crowd enforcement ...
Lo hacen a proposito, no importa el cartel que pongan ,lo van a seguir haciendo, son estupidos e irrespetuosos.Seguro en su pais no lo hacen
It would help if there was a sign on the other side as well.
How many more signs? Could cover the whole wall and still entitled would do as they want.
Their not allowed to touch the horses or the guards and the ones that do should be banned from there and all the other places period
The one horse is saying, I Was just here!!
Guard should be shouting don't touch the horse.. Chaos.
Great video.
What is wrong with him....all thiese damn people not saying nothing🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
To put up a sign that says don't touch the horse ,then not enforcing it is just bloody stupid.
I think the signs were put up so the military would not be sued if a horse bit someone ( like the fainting Chinese lady a week or two ago) It is up to the individual guard to assess his horse's temperament and decide if it is safe for the tourists and isn't unduly distressing his mount.
Stay in the box from these annoying, loud, tourists!!!!
People can still get a good photo without literally standing next to the horse! Plus the guards need to shake head no or say no touching when they try to touch horse or actually touch it
There's no point in having rules if people are allowed to break them.
I don’t blame that horse for staying inside the box. These people are so rude
What it’s wrong with some guards? They see them touching the horse and they don’t say a thing.
They finally put up a (dont)sign I and others were suggesting ( kinda missed the mark of the reins) but God speed
Why aren't the guards yelling at the people like they use too???? Is this a new king Charles decree?? If it is, it's NOT working!!!!!!!
This is the guard that looks around and often misses people touching horse. I feel he needs dismissal or lots of training.
The guards need to say something or tourists will continue!!
And the guard said nothing . Pathetic , they know their are signs ,, not to touch the horse .. useless ..I won't want him to guard me .
Foreigners, and sadly some Brits, are given way too much leeway!!!! Personally I'd paint a box around the horse and guard, and add a universally understood sign that you will incur a fine if you enter it!! Making sure that there is someone present to enforce it!!! Too harsh??? 😉
Some of the Chinese tourists look like they are being deliberately obnoxious, playing daredevil touch games with the guard and horse.
I’m furious on behalf of the gropper and what the fuck was wrong with the damn cops!
This standing next to the horse and guard has to stop
People.. pick up your trash!!!

Maybe they need to put a big sign in the front of the horse 🐴
I agree @Kimberly-dn4mc I know it's been a month ago when you commented the king's guards are to soft and so are the police with guns they all should be on the same page if the tourist don't want to be yelled at than leave or listen the signs can't be more plane to see
Why do the guards on the horses just sit there instead of keeping people away? Most idiots can't read but they sure can hear.,.,
Why are these people so rude
I’m confused, are they guards? Or just props? What is the point if they don’t do their duty?
are people that stupid that they cant read anymore ,,,,how rude are these tourists
Hate to say because it ruins the aesthetic of the architecture but need pictograph on both sides.
Los oficiales deberían ser más firmes con los tontos que siguen tocando los caballos. Es una falta de respeto tocarlos cuando se indica específicamente no hacerlo.
