    Good one Dee, I've made Muriel's a few times. Pretty fool proof. I found that if i folded the cream in first evenly, then poured in the lemonade, it came out better than banging it all in at once and trying to mix. I don't know the reason why? Maybe a baker or a scientist could explain it, but in my mind it just seemed like a better result. 🤔

    Hello, just ran across this super easy looking video
    Question: I'm in the US and am wondering if the lemonade is a sparkling water or our traditional lemonade which is not clear like yours?

      G’day Patty! In Australia our lemonade is the same as your Sprite. If you use that, you’ll be fine. Best of luck and let me know how it goes xx

    Muriel didn’t use selfraising flour. Her video 3 yrs ago for ABC is on RUclips. Yours is almost an exact copy except you use self-raising flour and hers are risen higher.😮

      Thank you for noticing. Muriel has 92 years of life experience and is a far better baker than I’ll ever be. We can only aspire to learn from others, and I’ll continue to practice. But for now I reckon I did pretty well.

    How much fat in your cream? Could you type, please? 🧈💛😍

    • @23spoons-deeskitchen43
      @23spoons-deeskitchen43  4 года назад

      Hello there! I used full fat runny cream. In Australia we call this thickened cream, and it’s used for whipping/beating. I think you need full-fat because there is no butter or eggs involved. Best of luck and happy baking xx
