Assuming 80% of the population is eligible for the jury pool, we can estimate the number of eligible voters in the District of Columbia. Let's say there are 600,000 eligible individuals. Out of 600,000 eligible individuals, if 675 voted for Trump in the 2024 primary, the probability of selecting one of these individuals for a federal jury in the District of Columbia would be: Probability = (Number of Trump voters) / (Total eligible population) Probability = 675 / 600,000 This simplifies to:Probability ≈ 0.001125 So, the probability is approximately 0.1125%, or about 1 in 888. Much better odds than a lottery ticket.
