It's an interesting idea, but sadly lacking in a lot of features and functionality that would make it a lot more useful. There's not even an option to open it with a shortcut key (or combo). It could become useful as a start menu replacement if they added simple features like that, and the ability to group the added shortcuts into subfolders. I'd love to get rid the dumb "recommended" section on the start menu using something like this but without so much as a simple way to open it, it kinda renders it unusable for the most part (especially for someone like me that doesn't use the windows 11 taskbar at all, I use a docking program instead + a few Rain Meter elements).
A few simple additions to the program would put it into the useful category, but glad you did the video, at least now it's on my radar and I can keep an eye on it to see if they improve it in future. For now though WinLauncher will remain as my "alternate" start menu simply because it's easy to program in keys/mouse hotspots to activate it quickly and easily. Plus it has subfolders etc and lots of space (although even it could do with an option to make it resizable rather than covering the whole screen).

I use start11 its much better but it not free,and i only now heard of WinLauncher thanks.
