- Hi! Just a short video about getting some extra xp from Rosymorn Monastery. I didn't know about this before so I wanted to spread the good word. Amazing how much stuff there is to do in Baldur's Gate 3. Keep calm and play the power!

Shovel is such a unit.
I just found out recently that if you go into your inventory tab while you are controlling shovel, you can right click on any potion to drink it aslong as you shovel. Best part is the elixirs like hill giant strength last til long rests, instead of only 10 turns when your throw them. Works for health potions, elixirs, blew my mind 🤯

Awesome! great way of getting some good extra xp. What is your preferred way of stocking up on smokepowder bombs?
I usually don't go out of my way to stock up on them but Cyrel (fake paladin of Tyr vendor) stocks em and I think Derryth does too.
Derryth is the best source in Act I. In Act II, it's Barcus and the Last Light Quartermaster. Smokepowder bombs are the most efficient way to break stone walls.
Except for the wall to the tiefling's cell in the Moonrise tower prison. Using a smokepowder bomb there will kill Danis. Then you don't get Bex's cookies. It's fine on the Ironhand's cell tho.

Sweet. Not much that can go wrong here besides walking too far and starting the cut scene!
Sneaking with Shovel is probably a good idea. Shovel can trigger dialogues. I don't know if she can trigger quest cutscenes, but she can get into dialogues if your character is nowhere near.
Also, I spent six hours running around in circles outside of monastery my first play through because I didn't see the boarded up wall down the stairs to break to get inside... with a little ingenuity this would have been so much faster.
Didn't know she could trigger that so thank you for the info.
Haha yes! My first time here it took me forever to find the entrance as well. I think I jumped into the kobold window though, not sure!
seconding this!! during my solo run i wanted to sneak in to ambush the kithrak by having shovel open the door. Instead, in the scene where your character peers through the door as you enter, shovel was in the scene as the protag and it was very funny ngl HAHA

You should do a video on reaching 30 in strength, the highest attribute you can get in the game.
I’ll see if I can figure out how to reach 30. Is it possible or is it more of something you want?
It's possible, but the fill 30 is only good until a long rest. So it's end game. As you lose 1 strength permanently afterward. It also requires use of a devilfoil mask party. In example:
Devilfoil Mask party is a halfling melee PC, with hirelings (gnome, halfling, duergar) using Titanstring Bows and a thrower using weapons like dwarven defender:

8 dex (Gloves later)
16 con
11 int (so devilfoil only causes a -1 penalty)
11 wis
11 charisma
Halfling, Strongheart for poison resistance with ranger wasteland wanderer fire and cold resistances. Or, Lightfoot to have any chance of sneaking in the armor.
Halfling Luck, harder to roll 1's on any activity or saving throw.
Ranger, proficiency in strength and dex saves.
Iron Mind (Gloom Stalker 7), proficiency in wisdom and int saving throws.
Fey Semblance amulet, advantage on all mental stat saving throws as per gnome cunning.
Dwarven splintmail (Ranger Knight), +1 to strength checks, -1 piercing damage, 19 ac, and +2 con. Replaces the constitution amulet/gloves for a con boost.
Ability: Strength +2
Heavy Armour Master, strength.
Resilient: Charisma, and Transmuter's Stone: Constitution to gain proficiency in all saving throws and no penalty on charisma checks for Tav with the extra point of charisma you can get from the mirror on top of the other bonus.
Ethel's hair, vigour potion, and mirror to get strength to 25 so the masks bump it to 28. Broken promises end game to boost it to 30 until long rest.
Balduran's Giant Slayer to double the late game 28/30 strength bonus, gaining +18/20 damage with no penalty to hit or feat investment on top of being able to cast enlarge.

Either it's an Xbox issue, or I'm an idiot. But it won't let me move anything as Shovel.

Or simply press Attack button in left down corner during the cutscene and take out githyanki yourself
That's definitely doable but you do miss out on xp from the 3 halflings since they just disappear from the scene.
