Put the guages on the washer box
You have a spigot to turn off and on and dont have to cross the waterheater lines.
Cabinet guys dont like cutting holes the size of guages in the back of cabinets.
Leave guages on till trim (upside down so painters dont paint the faceplate

How would you check your outdoor sprinkler lines for pressure. I know they use air to shut them down before winter?

Is it recommended to use air ? I know in sprinkler lines air is a no no but don't know about pex
Air testing could be potentially dangerous if someone isn’t aware it’s under pressure!
