Don’t ever tell anyone to buy that Dewalt battery powered shop vac it’ll fail in under a year. Go with Milwaukee or honestly even the Hercules at Harbor Freight is much better. I don’t know why Dewalt can’t get that damn tool right
Yo!! so the neturals tie in's on a outlet that's not switched doesn't matter where they land on the outlet because it goes to the same place on the panel. My concern was the outlet you tested that was hot on the netural side. Neverless GFCI outlet testers would tell one exactly what the issue is on that circuit so no need to chase a short. Thanks for posting these training videos.
Not sure why the outlets started working because it doesn’t matter where the neutrals are as long as they are on the neutral side except on gfci. Must have been the loose hot wires.
So true! I had to show the weirdness. I believe it was just loose and once I tightened it, it worked again. Got to show the good, the bad and the ugly. This one got me. 😆
@@LexVance Hate those GFI breakers (discluded the c) It's always the last thing in the circuit causing the problem and frustrating. LOL
P.S. we use the handheld Ryobi compressor for filling low tires on Cessna airplanes. They are small and light, so there is one in every plane. Ryobi makes some good stuff
dude for what you know and do, I hope you are getting paid well for. As always great videos.
Thank you so much for watching!
Absolutely. You think of the number of mindless jackasses making money for nothing and helping nobody in this world, and then you see this guy fixing several people's homes... every... single... day.
Come on. Some people deserve more.
You are the man, Lex. That was a great find that I think I would’ve missed. I personally don’t even see how it matters which neutral is under each neutral screw. Aren’t they attached I’m going to go look at an outlet.
Yes. Got to show the good the bad and the ugly. 😆 this one got me. I think it was just loose.
You have no idea how many times I came to your channel to fix something, or learn how to fix something. You definitely know your stuff man.
Thank you so much for watching!
Wow. 4 years of an undiagnosed leak is... impressive... worrisome... lucky... It's something.
Thank you so much for watching!
That screw wasn't coming out bc it a Ryobi 🤷♂️
Thank you so much for watching!
@@LexVance using a Ryobi¿!¿?!¿!?¿?¿
🤔 something was definitely loose, all that matters is that the outlets work now! Great video
So true! Thank you so much for watching!
👊😎
Thank you so much for watching!
@16:48: That appears to be a low-voltage box. What the hell? I don't know how some stuff gets passed. Some inspectors are truly useless, and there's not nearly enough accountability.
So true! Thank you so much for watching!
The fart noise always gives me a good laugh
👍😆👍 Thank you so much for watching!
New construction can be a shit show skid. Luckily they got you to MacGyver them repairs. All in a days work eh ? Cheers my man
Thank you so much for watching!
I work for Arbor Properties man I can say you've brought me a long way on maintenance, keep them coming my brother
Right on! Thank you so much for watching!
How long did those people go without those outlets working? Geez
Who knows. Thank you so much for watching!
Good job on fixing water leak and reply to all comments
Right on! Thank you so much for watching!
I use a Skill drill. For the haters of cheap drills. Hammer drill and clutch all I need for 75 dollars. Gets it done.
Thank you so much for watching!
I wanted to let you know that that cordless driver is a Ryobi.
👍😆👍 Thank you so much for watching!
😂that was good. It would have me for a loop. Thanks silent mentor
Thank you so much for watching!
I would like to know how it passed inspection. Maybe a little in the pocket pass.
Yep. 👍😆👍
Bob Ross 👍
Thank you so much for watching!
Enjoy the content keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for watching!
As before I have learned another lesson. The drill you use is fine. I have tried several different brands and most are just fine.
Thank you so much for watching!
👍 keep up the good work
Thank you so much for watching!
You’re telling me this whole time it actually matters where you put your wires on a receptacle??
No, I believe it was just loose. I show the good the bad and the ugly. This one got me. 😆
@@LexVance It’s all good as long as the problem was solved in the end. 👍🏼
i love my Ryobi
Me too!
Are these old videos? They look very familiar
Compilations of past videos. That's why I title them "Marathon". Some people haven't seen certain videos and they're not going back in my library so I do marathons like the old Leave it to Beaver and Gilligan's Island marathons. 😆
@@LexVance I thought so I was like I feel like I’ve seen this before 😂

Thank you so much for watching!
Happy Halloween! Good Job ! Thanks for sharing ! Have a blessed day !
Thank you so much for watching!
Thanks again Lex for the uploads always educational 😂
Thank you so much for watching!
I did new construction plumbing and yeah, those nails cause us a great deal of problems when they were slammed through the waste lines as well as the Pex.
Thank you so much for watching!
in general shark bites like you said in the video are meant for easy access places so we can know and fix leaks that happen right away. obviously pvc and brazing are more of permenant solution but in his case he had pex so he did the best he could. after this vide ima go research if theres a better way. honestly if its in his budget id put a acess panel up there would save a lot of headacheif something went wrong in teh future
Thank you so much for watching!
Do you have information on that drop light you use? Actually it looks like you had 2 different ones, 1 corded and 1 cordless (used that inside the walls). Looking for details on both. Thanks 😊.
One was a head lamp and my corded drop light was from Home Depot. Thank you so much for watching!
@LexVance 2:20 is not a headlamp and appears to be cordless, or at least different from the one you plugged in to the bar outlets. Model info please?
A ryobi! The horror!!! Halloween edition!
👍😆👍 Thank you so much for watching!
Very informative!
Thank you so much for watching!
Hey lex , they offered me a new property for supervisor you think I should take it?
It depends on the company. If they’re known for doing decent work then you’ll be fine. If they don’t then it’ll be a never ending succession of warranty calls which is worse than having to fix it yourself
@@thechad7803 Yeah suposoedly they are ok builder but I never been supevisor before so really want to jump ahead and do it
@@elmerramirez1215 hope you paid attention to what your supervisor did and what his responsibility's were. me personaly if i dont feel confrontable in leadership role i try to shadow and find out exactly what my boss does so that when i do get a leadership role its not endless stress of figuring out what to do when shit hits the fan and when to call a contractor.
@@fisforfriendship6093 yeah I been supervisor on training for about 6 months now. So I have a pretty good amount of experience and no yeah I feel you on that but now a days I need the money if not I’ll stay assistant
@@elmerramirez1215 been a sup for about a year now but have over 2K units and 12 or so techs under me. It’s really not bad and you shouldn’t have many people to watch anyway and probably spend your days fixing doors that won’t latch and other minor construction mistakes, so just a title and a raise. Go for it, you’ll be fine. Just make sure you get your vendor list and don’t work on anything major(plumbing where you have to cut pipes, chasing down electrical faults, part replacement in appliances etc) until you know it’s out of warranty.
Nice find ... Thx for sharing
Thank you so much for watching!
If you didint fix that red pvc pipe at the 4 year old house Mold could have grown
So true!
@@LexVance it could've been the deadly black toxic mold
@nicholasfranklin5355 So toxic.
