Okay had to pause the video half way through. I can tell your in early years and I want to give you advice now otherwise it will plague your playing for years. When you play or practice always use a metronome. Your tempo is all over the place. Unless your playing along to the song, always use a metronome. You'll thank me in a few years from now. GL
@@Gladicuss thank you and appreciate your feedback. I can’t play as good or fast as Kirk Hammett but I try. I took guitar lessons when I was very young but didn’t like it so I decided to teach myself and watch RUclips videos to help learn some songs.
Maybe i am mistaken but i was curious in both these models and saw the prices on the internet was cheaper on both than you mention here as the JS 12 was $189 and the JS 20 was $279 which both sound like a great deal and price anyway thank you for your video as I have subscribed to you as this is the first video I have seen of yours but you did a great job with demonstrating both guitars but if it were me I wouldn't put Metallica stickers on your JS12 but instead get some of those mailbox letter and numbering sets of stickers and use them to mimic the Kirk Hammett Ouija guitar with or without the artistry as i am no drawer or artist myself but just the letters and numbers would be cool enough for me but if you can draw decent i assume a gel pen would work as like a paint to draw the moon and clouds and the other art Hammett has on his guitar if they make stickers of those that would be killer as I have minimal artistry skills to mimic the moon and clouds and art he has very well but could draw other stuff as loosely based on his guitar or can just stick the letters and numbers down and not worry about the artwork and once happy with the placement of your letters and numbers or even drawings if you are confident enough to try those tape over the pickups, bridge, knobs and neck or remove them if you are comfortable removing them and clean the face of the guitar well being careful not to peel up the letters or and number stickers you just placed down on your guitar or smear the drawings if you decided to go all out for this and clear coat the face of the guitar with a couple coats of clear coat spray can so the stickers are then underneath the clearcoat and now become part of the guitar face instead of stickers stuck to the outside of it and can never peel off as it's just an idea you could try if that would interest you to try as I would love to watch a video of a before and after if so, if you are interested in such a thing you can watch Brad Angove spray clear coat on a Frankenstrat for a gloss finish in a video called how to get a professional looking clear coat with spray cans as in my opinion the Hammett Ouija guitar is hands down the coolest looking guitar ever and if you like the sharkfin inlays i would look into Neck Illusions catalog for $30 you can install sharkfin decal fret inlays or any other type of inlays on your guitar and are supposed to last for years but anyway thanks for your video man
Hey great video my friend. I met Metallica twice once in 94' and again in 96'. They were what got me into playing guitar when MoP came out. I've played for over 34 years. I'm a music producer and mixing engineer. If you would ever like me to mix of your song's I'd be happy to do it for free. You don't even have to have the drums or bass guitar. I'll put both in. I just need the stem tracks of your guitars emailed to me. If interested let me know and I'll get you my email. Wishing you the best. Cheers !
I've got a x series soloist slx dx and love it but i want something like the the js12 (cause its annoying af to change tuning with the floyd rose) but I really want the shark fin inlays 🤣. Im not a huge fan of the paint style on the js20 but I might have to find a js20 neck to swap on.... maybe im too picky lol. I could get the js22 but im a big fan of the more square body style rather than the arch.
