    Amazing product, I have one of them and it saved me a lot of time, saved lots of wasted reagents, and the frustration of trying to figure out the color chart. Very satisfied with this technology and I am glad it is getting more popular among famous reefers

    I love this! I’m one of the early adopters of the reefbot lab and currently have 2 of them, the number of times this equipment saved me thousands of dollars for corals and fish are countless

      Do you test nitrate with it? I’m a bit weary of using API tests which seems to be the only one that can actually be purchased and used with the ReefBot lab. If you do, which test do you use and how accurate is it?

    • @nidaadasina4091

      @@Grant5321 i use the api nitrate, just keep it within the 0-5 ppm range and you should be fine!

    Hey! Very clean aquariums you have, good job! I am also going to install a Reefbot Lab and I was wondering what tests to buy. What do you use and do they work well on the reefbot? How much RODI does the robot consume for a day and how big of a waste container you have?

    • @DannysAquariums
      @DannysAquariums  Год назад +1

      Thanks dude! They work with a lot of tests, but I mainly use Red Sea. It can consume quite a bit of RODI water if you do all the tests, I did 3 and it consumed about 1.5 liters I think, this is because it cleans itself all the time to avoid contamination. I currently have a 5L waste container on it but want to upgrade.

      Not at all, setting it up will take 5-10 minutes, after that you will only place the vials and the device would run for weeks before having to interfere at all, you can schedule the tests daily and it will run by itself

    Now that you have had for a few days what do you think and more importantly would you buy it?
    A lot of testing kit on the market and this is way more expensive than the others. This has been around for a while and was in development before apex trident. Look forward to watching a follow up

    I used natural system too... but i used sump and refugium.. i think you dont need robot to test your water.. your tank problem.. is water surface.. ammonia and toxic material always on water surface.. surface skimmer you are using is not effective.. you need sump to sucking your water.. you dont have back or under sump.. and you dont using hang on skimmer.. i think your tank will.. crash since setup.. just a matter of time... 😂

    • @DannysAquariums
      @DannysAquariums  Год назад +3

      It’s been going for three years now, we’ll see. Also, I’d rather have my tank look like this with minor equipment than having it look like yours with thousands worth of tech. (I looked at your channel just now)
      Oh and.. there’s no point in liking your own comment for relevance. It was filtered out by RUclips. 😉

      Your tank setup nov 2020.. with full of corals2 2021.. i think your tank erlier 2023.. your tank become very unstable.. until now
      I am still un succesfull with natural system for you to know.. yes.. if used skimmer i always succes with sps coral.. for natural system until now.. i am still not success with sps coral.. BUT SINCE YOU SETUP YOUR TANK.. WITH NO SUMP NO SKIMMER NO REFUGIUM JUST WATER CHANGE .. I THINK ITS "TIME BOMB 💣" AND DONT FORGET YOU ALWAYS DOSE RED SEA AB+ .. NO PROBLEM WITH AB+ BUT YOU DONT USED SKIMMER.. OHH THATS WILL BIG PROBLEM.. YOU TRY SOMETHING "IMPOSSIBLE" I GIVE 1 CHALLENGE.. CAN YOU SETUP NEW TANK WITH YOUR SYSTEM RIGHT NOW..AND MAINTENANCE WITH FULL SPS TANK.. ? AND GROWTH WITH NO MUTUALLY REPLACE CORAL? 😂😂 YOUR SPS CORAL I THINK NOW SUFFER AND DEATH .. I SEE YOUR VIDEO RIGHT NOW.. WHERE YOUR SPS CORAL? EVEN MONTIPORA SUFFERING FROM YOUR SYSTEM.. WITH YOUR IMPOSSIBLE AND THERE NEVER WAS SYSTEM LIKE YOURS😂😂😂

      I know many people who are successful with low tech tanks. It really isn’t that hard.
      I keep montiporas, acroporas and other sps corals in my tank without any problems.
