He's not lying though but that just proves Drake's arrogance for not realizing that this was a losing battle. I actually agree with Ish. People overall were tired of Drake winning and wanted him to lose so bad, they ignored anything that favored him in this battle. Not to say Dot wasnt cooking, but he certainly had public opinion on his side.
Mal and Ish need to team up and start a podcast together. The culture needs these teenage girls to cry together. The 40 + year old groupies are wild!!!
People dont want to put respect on Kendrick's name but his accomplishments are up there with Drake. ● 17 grammys to Drakes 5 ● Pulitzer Prize for Damn ● Longest charting hip-hop album in billboard history 11.5 years GKMC ● Highest grossing hip-hop tour in history with the Big Steppers tour ● 3 out of his 5 albums are classics where Drake has released 13 albums & only 3 or 4 are classics, most of which have an * next to them because of the 👻 writers. Take Care is his best body of work & The Weeknd pretty much wrote that for him. Drake can try to son him all he wants, but that doesn't stick bruh. Kendrick just doesn't brag, he be inside.
To compare these two guys is hard. They both are at the top of the lane they chose to pursue. They’ve achieved success that tops their peers. Two greats.
What Rap album does Drake have that's a classic? If you're singing throughout the album, at best it's an R&B/Pop album. That's like calling Trap Soul a rap project.
I think Ish is missing the fact that Kendrick literally releases albums, exposing his own flaws. Actually, flaws that people would take to their grave. If you hear his music, you just think, "He's lived a wild life, I see why you're so distant"
Not only does he expose these flaws of himself, he exposes flaws that people relate to and would be too scared to expose for themselves. So it helps people relate with him on a deeper level. Because they see that part of them they want to be. To be brave enough to speak of their own flaws and keep walking with their head held high. Great observation on your part.
Ish is trippin, the rsn why Drake in a lose lose is bc of his own actions , not bc he’s the biggest artist. his liabilities are based on the stuff he’s done or the weird stuff that can be made up from his actions. him being a billionaire doesn’t mean we’re gonna believe any lie. we believe or might believe it based on his weird actions
Idk what part is making me laugh the hardest: 1. The dance break 2. Joe dancing in Ish face talking crap 3. Ish sitting there stone faced 4. Mel joining in to dance 5. Or the Zaddys outta breath from dancing.

Good point actually. The sonics of that song speak to almost everyone. Even after drake mentioned Whitney in Push Ups Kendrick still didn’t go there in euphoria and gave him ANOTHER chance to keep it just rap. There’s no universe where anyone with common sense genuinely thinks Drake outrapped Kendrick this week in any way, shape or form.
Agreed. I love the both of them but I am surprised that people say Kendrick Lamar won off tea. Drake whole strategy was to beat Kendrick lamar by revealing tea to assassinate Kdots character. Other than tea. Alot of people missed the layers of detail to each cover art, beat selection, producers selection, bars, and strategy that Kendrick lamar had. Drake strategy never changed from the start. Family Matters was always intended to be the knockout blow. Unfortunately, Drake never studied his opponent, took kdot seriously, or listened to his music. I believe Drake doesn't understand the appeal of Kdot and he need Ego death.
The COVER ART having us like 😱💀. But yeah I agree, Kendrick outdid him in every aspect of it. I love Back to Back and I was hoping for Drake to come with some fire after euphoria cuz push ups was light to me, and he definitely did with Family Matters 100%. But stepping on it with meet the grahams 20 mins later and completely making Family Matters not relevant to me at all anymore was the knockout blow. Drake spent time and a budget making that video thinking it was the nuke and Kendrick took the Taylor Made bait, but it didn’t matter after those 20 mins. They’re so right in this video about how MTG completely changed the tone of this whole thing, the strategy of that move was insane. I’m still amazed at surgical move of the immediate drop, the shift with the production, the lyrics of that song being so direct. The fact that he said “why believe you, you never gave us nothing to believe in” and elaborating on that, showing us why ppl are naturally inclined to think Drake is lying due to his history of it rather than Kendrick is insane.

His would have been to if he didn't have machines behind him. Also people have too much invested. Drakes 1st or 2nd album had 9 executive producers from 3 different labels/companies. 3 from each company.

I felt like it was super disrespectful and just complete flagrancy. For Kendrick to take this culturally significant moment where he is essentially on top of the hip-hop game securing his victory and celebrating with what I assume will be the song of the summer. He uses that line to reestablish Tupac's honor and avenge his spirit and saying essentially without PAC, there is no me….the official king of rap in 2024.
I think drake def respects pac but the fact that u felt he was disrespecting ur idol u subconsciously already told urself taylor made was trash instead of listening to the creativity n i told my ppl he shouldnt have did that but it was a fire ass track

@slymboi261 @lyd190 I saw the description that it was an AI Tupac and I couldn’t/ wouldn’t listen to it. I missed out on it. I’m fine with that. MC Hammer mentioned last year; at the street naming of Tupac Shakur in Oakland, that there should be a Street/ Boulevard named after Tupac in every big city. Just like how streets are named after MLK or Malcom. If he would have used an AI: ODB, Pimp C, Bushwick Bill, MF DOOM, Soulja Slim, Eazy E, Bandanna Prodigy, Notorious BIG, Big L, Mac Dre, etc. ... I would of felt the same way. I’m not listening to that.

Ish not knowing the difference between a calculated lie and an uneducated assumption is wild. Joe said they don’t have a problem with the lies, but it has to be believable to have impact. If you lie about something that easily proven false, you discredit yourself. Drake not understanding Mother I Sober and making an entire argument based the misunderstanding is embarrassing (on top of cringe because how do you mock someone for being a victim on a track where you’re trying to prove you’re not a perpetrator). It’s embarrassing because it makes him look one of 3 ways to those who did understand the song: 1. He didn’t bother to do the research before he wrote those bars, 2. He DID do the research but wasn’t smart enough to understand it, or 3. He didn’t even write it and it’s his writer who messed up. If it was his writer who messed up then that would mean this mf is just a talking head who doesn’t have his own voice. He just takes the words and raps instead of checking them and making sure they’re valid.
Lying is absolutely on the table. This is also why the “it was a false leak” defense doesn’t hold up. Why would drake feed a lie that is believable because it happened before? This is rap beef, it’s not journalism.
Another thing about it is your delivery. One aspect about the beef that I think is a little under discussed is just how much better a performer Kendrick is. Funny how despite Drake being the former actor, it was KDot that was the better one. Drake's "red button" about Whitney in Family Matters is a last minute zinger, almost in a smug "Tee Hee, Gotcha 😌" kind of way, thinking that it was his final Ta-da and he could take a bow for all his adoring fans. He's putting on a show. But in Meet the Grahams, Kendrick is *DEAD FUCKING SERIOUS* about everything he's saying, and regardless if he's bullshiting or not, you still feel like HE believes every single venomous word he's spewing at Drake. Then of course there's THP6 where Drake just sounds exhausted from huffing a ton of copium in a mad scramble to save face at the last minute, nowhere near as confident in himself as he started out.
@kamfisher1714 ain't nothing to decipher, that boy out of touch with the streets man , been in that gated shit too long . How that dude from degrassi gone out rap a deep thinker from compton.
Think about this every time I hear the line. He has all kinds of easter eggs eluding to this in his older songs. “I remember you was conflicted, Misusing your influence.” And obviously the famous line at the end of euphoria and from DAMN. “Don’t tell a lie on me, or I might tell the truth bout you”. This “nuke” diss track was allegedly in the works for years.
Sometimes, but most of the time he's just tryna get his point across. They usually lack understanding purposely to prove a point. A lot of the times they just like to get under his skin... lol
on the real Ish wasn't lying tho and I'm a Kdot fan.... There's a reason why battle rappers are saying Drake won. To the untrained ear and to Drake haters, he was always gonna lose no matter what. But he had the better disses, he set Kendrick up and he fell for the bait with the fake daughter, women are coming out daily to deny that Drake ever did anything with them, literally none of Kendricks insults have stuck. Kendrick's wife still hasn't denied abuse, nor has Dave Free denied claims of impregnating Kendrick's wife. Drake also has the better song which is ageing like wine already, Family Matters.
The crazy part is they didn’t know when they uploaded this that Kendrick removed the copyrights for not like us, so they could’ve fully played those parts out without it getting pulled! Another win for Kendrick!
They have a streaming deal with another platform so it releases a week later on this platform, but when it was recorded the copyright was probably still up

@@JamesPain1203 which ones? Albums that you will go back and listen to ALL the way through
I think Ish is missing the fact that Kendrick literally releases albums, exposing his own flaws. Actually, flaws that people would take to their grave. If you hear his music, you just think, "He's lived a wild life, I see why you're so distant"
I DO live in a trailer with my mom!

Good point actually. The sonics of that song speak to almost everyone. From coast to coast, if you don’t move not a single inch it’s almost like pretending or really lacking certain element of musical “soul” inside. It’s kind of like the brother that might have two left feet or can barely do a line dance without looking awkward at a black function.

The word is grooming
Drake : Your short
Kendrick : I have to raise your son for him to be a good man
That dance break was genuine and wholesome. How we all felt hearing that jawn
Kendrick outrapped him since euphoria:
- Electrify vs Pacify
- I can predict your angles
- Random acts of Kindness
- Don’t tell no likes I won’t tell no truth
- Let it get shaky… I’ll park yo son
- What is it the braids?
- First time I shot me a drac’
- YNW Melly line
- Fuck Pushin P (Pharrell), Push a T
- Whoopin’ Feet
- Demon chipped by a throwaway
- No accent you could sell me
- I hate the way you …
- I’M WHAT THE CULTURE’S FEELING
- Better walk around like Daft Punk
- Fuck a 20-v-1, this a 1-v-20
- Am I battling ghosts or AI
- Croadie / cheesing fam bars
- You take it there I’m taking it further
And that’s without mentioning 6:16 in LA, meet the grahams or Not Like Us
And without any of the “tea” or potential lies that only came out after drake mentioned family.

💯

Drake thought he was battling Kendrick Lamar. He didn’t know he woke up K-Dot 😂
I think this was kung fu kenny😂😂😂
Nah this was K-Dizzle
There's a reason why battle rappers are saying Drake won. To the untrained ear and to Drake haters, he was always gonna lose no matter what. But he had the better disses, he set Kendrick up and he fell for the bait with the fake daughter, women are coming out daily to deny that Drake ever did anything with them, literally none of Kendricks insults have stuck. Kendrick's wife still hasn't denied abuse, nor has Dave Free denied claims of impregnating Kendrick's wife. Drake also has the better song which is ageing like wine already, Family Matters.
When Drake said "don't wake the Demon up" he was telling himself to not wake KDot up 😂
@@lovestory20148lol nah bro Drake took the L on this one.
THANK YOU JOE!!!!!!!! All these folks moving goal posts for Drizzy! He wrote a check he couldn't cash!
The crazy part is they didn’t know when they uploaded this that Kendrick removed the copyrights for not like us, so they could’ve fully played those parts out without it getting pulled! Another win for Kendrick!
What you said! Salute to him. This will benefit the pockets of all the creators that reacted to him. Another point for Kendrick.
They have a streaming deal with another platform so it releases a week later on this platform, but when it was recorded the copyright was probably still up
@@Peachykreamthat's not how they release schedule work. They'd be a week behind the beef I'd they did it that way. They record Tuesday and Friday, the audio drops on Spotify and unedited visuals to patreon Wednesday and Saturday and the edited visuals comes to youtube Thursday and Sundays. The skipped an episode last week and made it patreon only that's why there isn't a 722 on the page.
Well not really bc Drake didn't remove his lol
They did. This was before the shooting, which they discussed.
Ish accuses everyone else of bias but he's the one hating for 4 hours.
Goal posts were moved miles for Kendrick
@@MoreMsthanthat they weren't. Ish just didn't understand what they were trying to tell him.
Take a shot everytime Joe opens and closes this damn laptop 😂
Getting a liver transplant as we speak
Hecks no. I got work in the morning🤣🤣
4 hrs of
“Pour up (drank), head shot (drank)
Sit down (drank), stand up (drank)
Pass out (drank), wake up (drank)
