the crew's reaction to Diddy felt a little performative, or moreso that it shows they have a long way to go for a few reasons: number one being the language they use almost every episode in the way they talk about and regard women are directly related to how a situation ends up at DV. i know a lot of people are not ready for that fact but it stands. they call women bitches every single week and speak about them in a disrespectful manner every episode. Number two reason was around 1:03:14 when Mel tried to point out how its also up to Men to speak up about DV against women closer to when they witness it, but E and Ice immediately started saying something before she could finish her sentence. the cast needs to do a better job listening to those types of facts
Enough of "As soon as I had a daughter" Or "He got sisters and a mother". It shouldn't take a close female figure in your life to be put in one of these circumstances for you to then open your eyes and then realise that this is not how you treat women period.

Ish and Joe both had to stop ice from interrupting them, and Mel did a great job of stopping flipping from interrupting her, and that’s just in this pod alone.
@@willsmith4575 yes they do all get interrupted but only Mel gets reprimanded in unison and when Mel is talking, that same unison from everyone is not extended.
Melissa‘s face when they was talking about Cam. 😭😭😭
I pray you receive good new today AND an unexpected blessing falls in your lap. May God protect your mental health as well
Thank you❤
Thank you, same to you.
🙏🏾✨️❤️
Thanks Daniel. Hope the same for you.
Diddy's apology sounded like a coach who lost a major game, speaking at an after-game presser about how he let down his team and he "makes no excuses" and will work on doing better next time. He lives in his own reality. He doesn't get it yet. At all.
“That’s not cooking! He burning some sh*t! “ 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂
Finally bringing a sound professional on board with a degree, 1 point for education and data. Go Mel!
Saying “Cam is Cam” while he’s 40+ responding to a woman being abused is corny. He needs to grow up. Mentioning something sexual as a response to her being abused is crazy
He responded to the question more than once before he made the comment. Plus he was promoting his brand.
The fact that take care is 47 and over all those other albums is outlandish
Let's go, Joe! "Can't Bel Biv Devoe your way outta this one..."
😂😂
That's fire ...
😂😂😂
What you mean .
@@franklinauguste415 Go and listen to "Making a Murderer" by Joe budden
I really appreciate Flip’s honesty and candor on this topic.
1:03 Mel was right men should hold men accountable.
I didn't see why they took offense with what she said.
Emanny has never seen, or could imagine Joe hitting women just like Puffs friends didn’t see or could imagine him acting like that. Believe Cassie but not Tahiry?
JBP, JBP, Where would you be without the JBP?!
👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾
🤷🏾♂️✌🏾🙌🏾
Couldn't think of anything better than listening to the JBP gang on a Thursday🫡
Them joker videos look way different now
That’s real
Oh my goodness. Yes they do 😭
Mel said Puff was allowed to operate with his violence being an open secret/pattern, and people knew, Emanny immediately shut her down and said that’s not fair and we can’t say those around him knew. 10 minutes later, he went through the exact list Mel went through and said why would you (Mel) expect anyone to speak out and intervene if they knew all this…. Mel baby, don’t renew your contract cause these people don’t respect you
The Mel blazer roast had me dyingggg
Flip approached the topic with the emotional intelligence and humility that Joe should have.
I agree.
no disrespect to anybody but i am genuinely surprised that OTHER people are surprised by the latest Diddy news. knowing what we've known about him for decades at this point, i stopped paying attention to his greasy weirdo BS long ago. i wish it didnt take for a video to come out for people to realize at the very least, Puff is a bad dude. just like Mel said, it's ALL in the civil suit. and that's just the Cassie situation.
Everybody got something to say about this Diddy situation but for a whole Year folks was normalizing Blueface and Chrisean beating on each other. Blueface should be the poster boy right now then.
FACTS!!!!! Say that🗣️
They both hit each other .. that’s different than one sided abuse
@@TDizz202 abuse is the operative word sweetie
Not this show, that’s 1. Also they were toxic and abusive towards one another, he was a predator cold clocking a woman that didn’t fight back. Huge difference. Stop the bs.
@@robinrobinson2354They both "abused" each other sweetie
Flip tried to call out because he didn’t want to sit by while they contradicted themselves for views.
I am personally a survivor of DV and I really appreciate this conversation and adding the therapist to the conversation fr
Somebody tell ISH that the statement, "he was Careless" is nuts...
Agreed
Not really considering he was speaking in the mindset of if diddy used his head before putting out a video that would incriminate him
Thank you 🙏🏼 it was really important that you guys had that conversation on the pod. Regardless, of the fact that the public are going to come for Joe. Proud of the entire pod n proud of Joe.
I need 3 shows a week lol, I appreciate the JBP continued success
I agree but they gonna tell us to subscribe to Patreon lol
Same here, becoming my favourite podcast👍🏾
😂that diddy video where he be dressed like Ledger's Joker hanging out the driving car window hitt different now😅😂😂
Oohh yeah it hits much different now
the crew's reaction to Diddy felt a little performative, or moreso that it shows they have a long way to go for a few reasons: number one being the language they use almost every episode in the way they talk about and regard women are directly related to how a situation ends up at DV. i know a lot of people are not ready for that fact but it stands. they call women bitches every single week and speak about them in a disrespectful manner every episode. Number two reason was around 1:03:14 when Mel tried to point out how its also up to Men to speak up about DV against women closer to when they witness it, but E and Ice immediately started saying something before she could finish her sentence. the cast needs to do a better job listening to those types of facts
Earlier than the Home Depot Hispanics for this one ✊🏾

Narcissism is temporary. The past becomes the present. Time always changes and wrongs becomes right. Forgive all and forget never
Enough of "As soon as I had a daughter" Or "He got sisters and a mother".
It shouldn't take a close female figure in your life to be put in one of these circumstances for you to then open your eyes and then realise that this is not how you treat women period.
Shut up
Thank you jbp … the most productive conversation about this situation
Damn flip is a real dude you can tell he’s genuine 💯
JBP we appreciate y’all speaking on this. Fr.. 🙏🏿 You’ve built the biggest platform in this space and your voice matters. Forget about the backlash or anything else… Y’all showing integrity and that’s what always separated this podcast from any other platform since day 1… We asked.. you delivered… it only needs to be applauded. ✊🏿
Integrity? You sure about that 😂
Bro stop! Jbp is not your savior! This is entertainment. Everybody needs to start with the mirror
Queens flip just talk to be talking 😂😂
No one who believes in Black Excellence considered Diddy qualified. 1:21:00 Emanny kept 💯 because it definitely crossed my mind. However, almost every male on the show has described and laughed about times they were abusive it just wasn't physical abuse. Doing the work with God while your victims are still languishing in the trauma you left doesn't absolve you.
Imani cut Mel off every time she really start getting to her point.
I noticed that too, like he always wants to make his point while shes making hers.
She takes forever to get to the point. It don’t have to be a best seller.
he does it to Flip too
Hey Joe, Terrance was speaking about the mathematics of Chemistry which is called Stoichiometry. I took chemistry wayyy back in high school and stoichiometry is when you balance chemical equations. There’s a formula for it from what I remember.
Every time I hear flip say “with great power, comes great responsibility”. I can’t help but think he has the aptitude of a child. I love Spider-Man but this is not the time for those one liners🤣
I fw Flip but this is the truth 😂
Hella juvenile with his big behind 😓
@@TGCid01he does make good points but it’s obvious when he’s out his depth. Nothing wrong with homie though! He makes the show fun.
I hear you but i think this one of the main times that flip spoke proper truth and added value to deep a conversation, cheesy line i agree
It’s CRAZY how you people are easily offended by intelligence!!!
It’s not about the Cartoon it’s the message… I didn’t even know that came from Spider-Man until you left this comment. Flip is not alone… this comment you left is mad childish
Mel hasnt had this much input EVER!
Which is why I tuned out ..she never has anything to add to a conversation worth adding unless it's to point out some a man did wrong or to point out a woman who's a victim. I'm sorry but this podcast is more than that and if you can't contribute this indepth any other time then I'll be damned if I sit and listen to you contribute now
She did amazing I'm glad Jerome tuned out
That’s for a reason…..she only on this pod for eye candy. Other than that she’s gonna give the typical feminist pov
@@jeromejenkins151 Most of the time the topics on the podcast be about Rappers and they Music, Sports or Male & Female dynamics. Mel don't know much about sports and rap. Tf are you even talking about 💀

As a therapist, ish idea that we don't push back and tell people the truth is so ignorant 🤦🏿♂️
We're the group that 'keep it real' and "we'll get you together" cause of that very opposite thing Ish said
My only thing is joe need to take responsibility for his part. He’s talking about this p diddy shit and brand protection like he wasn’t one of them, because when this first surfaced with Cassie he took his take to patreon and in public was like L
“puff is my man thoughts and prayers” “I’m not gon say much because we don’t know”
Now it’s
“He got a track record, we always knew it”
Good morning JBP family. Stay blessed 🙏🏼
Joe 🐀 on parks is crazy 5:38 😂😂😂
No matter what, Joe budden is the realest. He always speaks his truth and it’s something that you can tell all the time. If ti raw and sometimes hurt he always speaks the truth. I like how he doesn’t sugar cold things. All the people who’ve been saying black excellence when in reality the biggest leaders in that shit are monsters. Fuck that.
Why can’t Mel pod like this every episode? This what it takes for her to say more than 5 sentences?😂
You can tell from all these outlets that keep even referencing him potentially hurting himself that they know he KNOWS a lot of people’s secrets
If they think that Terrance Howard is a genius, I can understand how they choose to not know if the Earth is flat or round.
Genius in talking in circles. He the master at saying a lot but not saying anything at all.
And didn’t know how any states there were 😂
Joe said he is “brilliant” not a genius🤭 90 patents…stop playing with Terrence please
Terrence is definitely a genius, who could deny that? he’s speaking at Oxford , literally showing a lot of what we learned is wrong
@@AR_112yeah you didn’t understand what you watched. It doesn’t matter what you think
All this cutting off and "can I finish" is annoying
Everytime Joe hears the word narcissism his eyes get to blinking lol
I get what Flip is saying. Some people ride or die with you right or wrong. It's definitely a conversation to be had.

Tho I love looking at tahiry… I do feel she’s an opportunist!!
Or was triggered ?
What about the recording of Cyn saying he dragged her
I seem to remember a clip of Joe from either one of the reality shows or some interview he did. It was mentioned that Joe sat on his baby’s mom’s stomach while she was pregnant. And Joe replied, I didn’t sit on her pregnant stomach I sat on her chest. That sounded sooo crazy.

I have listened to at least 3x and my God thank you so much Mel for just being you and letting us in on that world during that era.
Mel is needed and appreciated! You men stood in the gaps of everyone's uncertainties. Flip volunteering his transgressions.
