I got some rubber for an edge but still have not installed it yet. would come in handy here to squeegee off the driveway as the snow melts so it don't freeze over again through the night. enjoyed the video.
Hello thanks for the good video on wing installation ; I’d be interested in adding a short 6 inch set to my 48 inch plow on a John Deere X580 tractor do you have contact information thanks John
@@jdtoys2768 Hello I keep trying your email with no response I’d be interested in buying a set of the rubber wings extensions please contact me thank you John
@@jdtoys2768 seems to handle it fine. I don't have any experience with a 54" blade to compare. I'm using it when it's not ideal to use my 54" blower. What's the best way to talk more about details for my plow. Thanks
Half inch rubber will work fine. The curvature of the blade will give it plenty of strength. We cut up to 12" wide wings with 9" beyond the blade edge with 1/2" non-re-enforced rubber.
Hello enjoyed your videos on fabricating and installing rubber extension wings if there’s any chance you could contact me or send contact info ; I’ll be interested in buying some thanks John
Hi John, it was great to talk with you...enjoy your new wings and cutting edge. (John decided to make his own). We love it when people can make their own things! Thanks for watching, Doug

We are going to make some cutting edges and wings from reinforced rubber and see how they hold up! Thanks for watching!

Looks great! Can you make them for a 60" John Deere plow I just purchased for my 1025R?
Hi Kevin, Yes we can make wings and cutting edges for the 60" blades. How do you like you 60" blade? Does the 1025R handle it ok?

Nice work. Does the half inch thick mat work best when the wings are 6” wide?
qfdforme It seems to be the best we’ve tried. It doesn’t wear out fast and is still strong enough to move heavy snow and light gravel.

Do you sell 6” precut wings and cutting edge? No holes need since I already have holes drilled in the plow for Artillian wings.
The wings look great! Do you use the rubber edge on asphalt only?
We use the plows on asphalt, gravel and cement. I will be uploading a video soon with us plowing a long gravel lane. Works great!
The rubber looks good on them blades! How much is your hooks and what are the specs on them? Thanks for sharing!
The hooks are 5/16 G-70 and $20 each with backing plates. Would you prefer a specific color?
That's a good price! What is the rated strength on them.
5/16" G-70 hooks are rated to 4,700#
