Did you make the adaptor for your plow? Are you using your rear hydraulic for the plow angle movement? Thanks

Thanks for watching and the question +Mark Grosso! The dealership that we purchased the tractor from manufactured the adapter and hydraulics. Yes, the blade angle is controlled by one of our rear hydraulics.

Thanks for watching and the comment +BigJim57! I'm sure my day is coming for ole Arthur to make a visit but for now I will continue to enjoy the snow!!! I was beginning to think we might not have any this year as we went most of December and January with only light dustings that I used the leaf blower to take care of. We'll be getting the brush hog back out soon enough. This time of year it is so hard to imagine all the growth that will come back in the Summer.

Have you ever felt like chains would help or are the R4 tires good enough ?

Thanks for watching and the question @Shane Sherwood! There have been just a few times that chains would have helped - usually when the ground is icy and there is a substantial amount of snow that the tractor is trying to push - but we typically can just back up and get a running start at it and the tractor plows right through.

Does it push the tractor around when plowing?

Not to bad as long as we have good traction. Once in awhile the blade ends up being down to low and pops the front tires up off the ground and I notice that I can't steer. I can then just reset the blade up a little higher to regain control and keep moving. The ballast box hanging on the 3pt is a must.
