    Oh dear lord as a person who grew up The Fast and The furious I need this for my 21 WRX. Do they have an adapter out there for the VA FA20

    • @MrAnythingGuy
      @MrAnythingGuy  6 месяцев назад

      You may have to do some research on that. It looks like your FA20 doesn't have the same TMIC mount as an STI.
      Even if you could find an adapter to make this work, you would need a tune for it because the excess air is venting to atmosphere.
      Without a tune you would NEED to re-route the air back into the turbo inlet pipe and use the BOV as recirculation valve, otherwise the car will run/idle like shit.
      Sorry man :(

      Its a greddy type S bov that was originally used in F&F. Just look for a greddy type s bov

      @@GVGR11B Greddy does not make them anymore.

      @@reubenmorris487 they are still available. Just because they stopped producing the doesn't mean they all vanished from existence. NGR makes a Type S replica and eBay sells knockoffs that sound exactly the same.

    How would you use it as a bypass valve? I'm guessing there's an attachment you need but with it?

    • @Mr.St3wi3
      @Mr.St3wi3 4 месяца назад

      I went ahead and bought the BOV, but realized the recirculation adapter was sold out. I don't have a access port unfortunately. Is there any other recirc adapter that you recommend? I can't seem to find any online 😅

    • @MrAnythingGuy
      @MrAnythingGuy  4 месяца назад

      @@Mr.St3wi3 yes it unfortunately has been sold out for quite some time now.
      If you find a different adapter let me know. I think it could be possible to get a pipe from even lowes or a hardware store. On the website it says 1 inch 1.25thread pitch I think.
      Pretty sure that its exact same as Greddy Type S, so you could look for adapters for that too.
      Otherwise with a bit of encouragement, wd40 and a hose clamp it could be possible to slide the existing resurc hose over the outlet of the BOV.
      Hope this helps, I’ve been running mine vent to atmosphere, no protune for months and it doesn’t really throw off my bugeye Subaru too much. I know that newer Subarus tend to be a bit less forgiving with a vent to atmosphere. But overall it sounds fucking awesome. Let me know what you come up with

    Hi - where did you route your vacuum line? I see it's teed somewhere

  • @liambeck3679
    @liambeck3679 3 месяца назад

    So you can run the bov without using the lower nipple? No leaks

    • @MrAnythingGuy
      @MrAnythingGuy  3 месяца назад

      Correct. Most people run it this way

  • @ho4233
    @ho4233 5 месяцев назад

    I see it has another nipple, besides the one where vacuum hose is connected, what did I you do with that other nipple? Or what’s it for?

    • @MrAnythingGuy
      @MrAnythingGuy  5 месяцев назад

      Hey there, that lower nipple is for a pressure source. Its usually left open/ vent to atmosphere.
      I believe (don't quote me on this) it can be connected & T'd off back to the turbo compressor vacuum.
