this is a very helpful video, thanks team! Question on ebook design: I know you covered the licensing section in the beginning. To clarify, can someone use a template to create their ebook and subsequently sell their ebook? or is that not in accordance with licensing rules?
What about creating the interior of a children's picture book for KDP and Barnes and noble using elements when having a pro account? Not an ebook just print?
Hello Vanessa! You can check this out > ruclips.net/video/RkeTWrJXCKw/видео.html. You can also print your design through Canva Print here > www.canva.com/print/what-we-print/. Hope it helps! ^ss
This was a great video!! Canva does pay attention to its users. I asked a question on another video about worksheets and boom... here comes this video. I noticed there were many free elements used and some that were pro. As sellers, are we allowed to use pro elements?
Hey LaShana - yes, we love when people ask questions! As for this question, the short answer is yes, as long as you have modified the design enough or used the elements in a way that is uniquely yours. In other words, you couldn't just use one pro element in the middle of a poster and sell it as yours. Does that make sense?
Loved this! Very helpful to small business owners just getting started! Question, though. Did they change the Canva site somehow? The “FREE” filter in the search area isn’t there for me. I can’t filter out the Pro items.
Hi there! Mind dropping us a line about this at canva.me/help? Feel free to share a screenshot there, so we can also take a closer look. We'll keep an eye out! ^rd
Thanks, Canva this video is really helpful. But at 07:29 mine doesn't lead to a preview canvas, it directs me to a view only like the 'view only link'. Is it because it hasn't been updated in my region? By the way, I'm from Indonesia
Hi there! Mind trying out the steps under "Sharing via links from inside the editor" here > www.canva.com/help/share-via-link-or-email? You can message us at m.me/canva if you need more help. Let us know if it works! ^sr
Hey there, Duda! Yes, of course. Feel free to customize any of the design templates that we have in our library here: www.canva.com/templates. Happy Designing! 😊 ^gv

I have the text of a book but can't work out how to use Canva to do the cover - there's too many options and terms I don't understand. Does anyone know?
Hey there. The book cover will depend on what size it is, so it might be best to create a new design with the exact size you want. Hit the 'Create a design' button and then choose 'Custom size'. Hope that helps.
If using a pro element in a digital download design how does the customer obtain their purchase if selling in Shopify? You have to upload artfiles for purchase.
Hi Derika! If you've used Pro content, you can only sell your designs as shared editable template links. More details here: bit.ly/3X3k2uV. Hope this clarifies! ^nm
@@canva This did not answer my question. I understand if you use pro content you have to share the templates. My question was how do you share the template to customer if have to upload a art file to Shopify. I don’t see that info in the rules. Do you have another video to direct me to or info?
I create digital designs, Png Format So my customers can download them and add them to whatever they like, I just Heard about canva and was wondering if I am allowed to use images from here to create images to sell?
Hey there! Yes, you can sell your designs as merchandise or digital products. If you used Pro elements, you can sell your designs as shared template links only. More details here > www.canva.com/help/licenses-copyright-legal-commercial-use. Hope this helps! ^sr
@@canva I just reread some of the license, So in order to sell as a digital file. Ex.. I upload my design to etsy that I created on canva, I have to have a written agreement with each customer? The License is very confusing and seems to have a lot of loop holes.
Hey there! To clarify, selling your design as a digital file (i.e., PNG, SVG, PDF, JPEG, MP4) is allowed if it only has Free content. If it has Pro content, then you can only sell it as a template link. For more info, check out our Prohibited Uses (Section 9, #12) here: bit.ly/3QKv1Hb. Hope this clarifies! ^nm
@@canva What is the written agreement for? If I make A design out of free images, do I have to Have a written agreement for my customers to use? I'm Sorry for all the questions, I just want to be sure I am following the rules and do not want to get in trouble
I had to ait 10 minutes to learn how to make a template in the correct size. Needless to say I STILL DO NOT HAVE THAT INFORMATION! SO HOW DO I OPEN CANVA TO MAKE THE RIGHT SIZE EBOOK TEMPLATE TO USE WITH MY OWN PICTURES ETC???
It would be great if Canva AI could create everything from the text and I wouldn't need all this manual work. Even though there are tools to make It easier its still manual and takes time, not to mention sometimes I don't know the best design to use.
Hello Canva If what I am going to write next is correct .. affirm it to me, please I am allowed to use canva free content for my personal or commercial use (not pro content, if it was pro I should pay) .. not using images of specific person .. All of Canva's free content is free source .. I should design from scratch using your free content (graphic, video, image, font, shapes) then sell it, print it or sell it after printing. Avoid using templates for desinging to sell .. start from scratch using free content and take the inspration from templates . If I am designing for my personal use, my wedding, my small business, my class and students , I can use your templates. And while all of this .. i will keep telling my clients and each person asks me about the design that it is made by canva and the rights originally goes to them
Once you have created a design, are you allowed to download that design and then sell it without having to send a link back to Canva? You just show examples where you send a link to the customer to Canva
Hey there! This is allowed if you used free elements only. If you used Pro elements, you can share it as a template instead. More details here > www.canva.com/help/licenses-copyright-legal-commercial-use. Hope this helps! ^sr
