When you hear the name, The Three Degrees, you immediately think of their most famous song "When Will I See You Again", or perhaps "TSOP" (The Sound of Philadelphia), the original "Soul Train Theme" with MFSB (Mother Father Sister Brother).
Approaching 50 years in the industry the threesome have retained all of their major qualities; their beauty, their sparkling choreography and their precise vocal harmonies.
Today the line-up consists of Valerie Holiday, Helen Scott and last but not least Freddie Poole. Valerie and Helen are 'senior members', said with a smile, both beginning in the early 60's in Philadelphia. This was when the group made their first mark on the recording scene by way of the Philly-based Swan Records.

I still enjoy this and other songs I grew up with. These are timeless. 2023.❤
I discovered The Three Degrees watching The French Connection 1971. They are singing in a bar, where Gene Hackman is drinking with a friend.
Since then, I listen all their songs whenever I can. Excellent singers
It's 2024, I am still listening. They never die friend. Pure vocal talent without the need of anything else to attract fans.❤.

I have trouble in taking these Songs as vintage as years pass on they outshine the modern music in an increasing percentage each year that passes in all aspects. the lyrics, dressing , performance, morals and so on. They were unparalled.

Saw the three degrees sing this live in a nightclub in wakefield I was a trucker just stopped for the night after their performance they came out for a drink and sat at my table for 30
min I had the company of these three beautiful ladies

I grew up listening and watching them. This is my best Three degrees (SHEILA, HELEN & VALERIE). I am definitely still listening to them and also still keep their vinyl albums.

I wasn't born yet when they were on stage singing this song, but I love this song. I found this song by accident on youtube. It is just a simple and easy listening. The leading singer is so beautiful even for a beauty standard in 2021, she is for sure still considered to be beautiful.

With me they met them at the stage door, they signed mums program (which my mum gave me too me on my 30th bday( and they touched mums belly with me inside and blessed me🤗🤗🤗 so I'll always have special spot for these ladies, especially after my mum passed away 3 years ago! #whenwilliseeyouagain xx

I saw these ladies on Sanford and Son back in the seventies when Rollo played their manager and have been in love with them since. Ms Pinkney, the lead singer on this song passed away in 2009 RIP 🙏. Their voices are truly heaven sent on "when will I see you again ".
Fayette had left the Three Degrees before this record came out, way back in 1976.

This song reminds me of my late husband. He wrote the lyrics for me in 1980 when we had a fight. We loved each other so much and I really miss him and it is 24 years since he been gone. I listen to the song with some longing in my heart.
