  • How to improve English pronunciation: In this episode of Word of the Week, I will go over how to pronounce climb. Climb is a word to describe the action of moving up a slope, often using your hands and feet. Words like climb, bomb, and lamb have a silent letter “b” at the end. Yes! The pronunciation of English consonants can be a challenge.
In this video you will learn the pronunciation of climb, the sounds in its syllable, and how to use climb in a sentence.
Not only is knowing how to pronounce English words correctly empowering, but it also means your listeners understand you first time and they can focus on your messages and not on understanding your words. Accent reduction is not necessary, but clarity of your speech is.
    Enjoy learning!

Sadly in English, there's sometimes no relationship bewteen the spelling and pronunication. So you need to learn each new word separately. Always best to learn how to pronounce it first and spell it afterwards but sadly that's not how often we're taught in schools/universities. Use a good online ditcionary to help, Longman or Macmillan or Cambridge.
