Very cool build, i’ve just did a similar one with the powerhobby rail and instead of high battery up the servo, I have put the receiver up front and the battery on the rock slider. I’m very happy with the result. Just discover the channel, continue the great work. I really enjoy your camera view of the internal. 👍

Battery on servo on axle has worked out very well for me with my “comp” style rigs. I usually just put Velcro on the servo and battery and everything sticks in place well. Then the battery becomes unsprung weight, which is a huge bonus with the lighter flat rail builds.

I just drove my build that I bought the power hobby axles etc from you . Man I was surprised as to the quality, my only bitch is we need brass inner knuckles . I didn’t like screwing brass to plastic . Hopefully ph makes us some brass inner knuckles soon!!!! Ar44 od and ud gears fit just fine .

I started with a Gen7, then Trx4 Sport, Capra and a 410. Enjoy them all for what they are.
Would love to support the US based small guys but i cant afford $150 rails and transmissions.
Gen7 sure taught me how to drive around the pumpkin though, that things axles are 'rustic' lol
Have you had chance to check out the Meus nylon F10 clones? On my radar for a budget build.

No, I appreciate parts that do the job and don’t cost me a fortune. The average RC guy has a handful of trucks. He drives every time goes out. And to have all high-end parts on five trucks is just stupid unless that’s what you do for a living!!! or you just have all the money in the world to spend. That’s not the guys I run with. And it certainly not myself. I got seven grandkids that all have trucks now. Thanks to grandpa. Lol I made my own team.

That was kinda my point in all of this. Not everyone want the high end stuff. Its nice to see the other end of this hobby. I will say though some cheap stuff is not the answer. But this batch of stuff seems great so far.

How’s the motor/esc working, it looked pretty smooth. I have same chassis with same motor/esc, don’t have in it yet though.
