After a few weeks we're back with the second to last Donington video.
I start right behind the BAC Mono which is clearly being underdriven. What a machine, and what a pity the owner doesn't invest a bit of its time on some driving courses to enjoy what that car is really capable of.
Later you'll see an Audi R8 overtaking and doing some very strange moves right in front of me... was he maybe trying to slid the rear on that car...? good luck, dudebro!
A few hairy moments, particularly an unintentional rear brake lock up in third gear at the lower part of the track in Old Hairpin.
Also had a few rear slids mid-corner that felt a bit strange. After the trackday, looking at the car, it might've been some oil dripping from the oil cooler lines, now happily resolved.
I had the feeling the clutch was starting to slip as well, but I might've been having a bad day driving and using the controls. By the time I went to Brands Hatch next, the car felt much better and I never had this feeling anymore. I actually realized I was shifting faster and in a more cohesive, timely manner, which I didn't throughout the day here. Is it only me or did anyone else feel that?
By the end of this session I was running a bit low on gas. The pump must've starved on the tight but long left-handed hairpin (Goddards) onto the paddock straight, and you can even see a bit of lean AFR numbers on the lower corner left of my screen. Time to refuel and see you on the last, or second to last Donington video next.

the way the car moves and rotates under braking and easily allow to be steered with the throttle ❤ as always, proper driving 🔥
@@joaopedrobifes Muito obrigado! Although this time I think I was spilling a bit of oil to the rear tires and that's why I had a bit of rear lock up under braking, and a few times mid corner the rear inner tire started slipping (RPM rises)... But it will be all solved for the Brands Hatch vids!☺️👌🏻
