Moza is quickly becoming the king. I am very tempted to upgrade from my r5 to the r12. Especially with the fact I can use my srp lites directly into the r12. Pair it with the es with the formula mod and it will be perfect. I will definitely also buy this wheel at some point in the future. Great video!
I want to buy the ES+Formula wheel for R5, but now I dunno if this KS would be better with the R5 Base or it is too large 300mm instead of 280 ES. What do you think?
Before this came out, I was dead set on grabbing an r9 and es wheel with the formula style mod for it. Now I think I’m going to just save up a little longer and grab the ks wheel! Thanks for the review!
Looks like a really good product! I much prefer the design versus the overdesigned GS with those ugly green stripes and unnecessary plastic bits. And finally moza made an actually functional rev light 👍🏼👍🏼
Does anyone know if they were to eventually implement console compatibility would it come via software update or would they have to release new wheelbases?
Hey Matty I suspect it will require new wheelbases as there is usually an internal chip needed. That being said I believe (maybe) xbox seems to eork when certain wheels from other manufucaturers have the chip in the wheel not the base! TLDR; You’d need to buy a new base
@@TheCarDoc1 I do remember Fanatec talking about the chips and I know Xbox requires a proprietary chip but not sure about PS5. I saw in another review that the back of the R12 now has a slot for pedals where the R9 and R5 did not have that slot. This gives me a sliver of hope that it can be done via software update (for PS5 at least) but hopefully we find out sooner rather than later lol

I actually prefer the KS wheel. I prefer the LEDS and the grips ! (And the price) but if price wasnt a factor i’d 100% take the KS wheel imo

I'm about to ditch Fanatec for Moza due to their Black Friday mess. Looking at getting the KS.
