Actually it depends on where you live. Some of these new right to to repair laws explicitly reinforce the fact you're allowed to work on your own property. There's a chance they'd still try and give you grief over the hole, but if you're smart you'd avoid the argument by re-threadlock it before returning. They clearly have no plans of taking it apart.
No drilling required. All you have to do is relieve the gas from the bladder, soften the clickers all the way compression and rebound (if you have any) and then that seal head actually gets pushed down past the snap ring so you can remove it.

In a previous video he showed that there is a ledge that prevents the seal head from being pushed down.
