- 🎬 In this video, I'll be putting the new Blue-Eyes cards from the Structure Deck: Advent of the Eyes of Blue to the test!
In this series i'll be dueling with different builds to see which one is the most consistent and powerful.
The goal is to find the best strategy for using these new cards and share my findings with the community.
🔍 The featured cards in this video are Maiden of White, Prayers with Eyes of Blue, and Majesty with Dragons of White.
Maiden of White is a really interesting card - it lets you send itself to the Graveyard to set up a "True Light" Spell/Trap, and then you can Special Summon it back if you manage to bring out a Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
Its ability to protect itself from targeting and attacks is also quite useful.
Prayers with Eyes of Blue is a great draw engine, letting you search for key Tuners and Spells/Traps. And Majesty with Dragons of White is a powerful boss monster that can clear your opponent's field and even help you Ritual Summon.
These cards seem to have a lot of synergy with the classic Blue-Eyes strategy, so I'm excited to see how they perform.
💪 Based on my initial testing, I think these new cards have a lot of potential to make Blue-Eyes decks more consistent and resilient.
Maiden of White and Prayers with Eyes of Blue provide valuable setup and draw power, while Majesty with Dragons of White offers a formidable win condition.
The ability to recycle resources and protect key monsters is also a big plus. Of course, I'll need to do more in-depth testing to see how they fare against the current meta, but I'm optimistic that these new additions can help take Blue-Eyes to the next level in competitive play.

now I know why Magia master was so expensive. They were playing the long game with Blue Eyes

I doubt that's why they did it. I think the popularity of Yubel is what what made them make these new blue-eyes cards.

by the way, will having 12 cards that act as starters/one-card combos be unfair and ban worthy? I once the support is released in OCG/TCG its definitely going to be hit hard on that time's next banlist due to how op having 12 one-card combo starters and a huge amount of space for non-engine/trap cards. sorry, im not too wise about the meta
When will you make the dragon pile version of the deck? I've tried it out (still testing and improving on it) and it's fun and somehow consistent with the exception of a few bricks here and there.
The only dragons I use are the red-eyes package, the chaos dragons, and the bystials, but that's pretty much it because too many handtraps just ruin the consistency.
But how do you manage the Extra Deck with all that options?
@@Tenshimaru for the extra deck it really all depends on how you want your deck to look like... let me explain.
We know the main extra deck cards you DO want to run, are; Ancient Fairy Dragon, Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon 3x, Crimson Dragon, Stardust Sifr Divine Dragon, Blue-Eyes Spirit Ultimate Dragon, Spirit with Eyes of Blue, Dragon Master Magia, and the OG ultimate dragon.
That would leave you with 5 extra deck slots, and it would depend on what type of cards you add to the main deck, so, let's say if you want to add the light and dark end dragons you can fill two of the extra deck slots with tyrant and LAD dragon lord and then fill out the 3 other slots with the cards you have in this list like the buster blade cards and choose between crystal wing, cosmic blazar or seals.
You can also add the accel synchro package as well which helps you extend you're combo while also ending on a nasty board.
If I have to be perfectly honest, there is no definitive answer I can give since I'm also in the process of figuring stuff out with this deck, since the combos are pretty insane but sometimes they have no payoff, unless, you draw the level 1s or you draw prayers. Either way the best advice I can give is, use your videos as reference and see which extra deck monsters are more consistent than the others then the main 10 cards I mentioned because their are WAY to many good dragon monsters and it's pretty hard to add all of them.
sorry for the long reply but best of luck, and I'm open to any ideas you might have! Though one thing is for certain. Do not, and I mean... DO NOT use the dragunity package cause it's just sooo inconsistent (imo).
@@Tenshimaru actually nvm bro. A 60 card version of a pile deck is freaking impossible, it has too much going on and has no end goal… I’d say just use this build blue-eyes buster blader build and add a little extra.

Hey man! Thanks to your video, i have adjusted my BEWD Deck slightly. However, i didn't think board breakers like Raigeki, the option for Sifr or the idea of 2x Link 1 are worth playing. Instead, i opted for a 50 card variant with a bit more consistency with cards like "Where arf thou" , "Bingo Machine, GO!!!" and whatnot.
It's very risky to play one BE Link. Many decks can negate or destroy it and without him the combo can be compromised if you don't have a good hand to follow up a bad situation.
@@Tenshimaru true, however in the case this happens it's very unlikely for you to survive the opponents turn and then attempt it again on your second turn

You should use the one you feel more comfortable.
From this video I started a series of searching the most consistent Blue-Eyes deck since i belive it will become a 'going first nightmare' when it arrives Master Duel

Okay I’ve been wondering, is crimson dragon really necessary for this deck to work ? Cause so far he seems to be just an extra step since what he does is most of the time just bounce into another level 12 syncro, which Please correct me if im wrong, can be done with Spirit Dragon
Most high level synchro monsters that require multiple materials have restrictions as "must be synchro summoned" or to activate their effect they have to be synchro summoned. Crimson dragon's effect mentions that the special summon is treated as a synchro summon while blue eyes spirit dragon says special summon one light dragon type monster.

My guess is, it's going to be a ritual monster because of the effect of the new trap card.
If the last card is an illusion of chaos like card that searches the entire deck (monsters/spells/traps) and doesn't have a hard once per turn, Blue-Eyes will definitely be meta

Man this deck is art as a BE player. Just curious for the Buster Blader fusion and buster dragons play, is there room to swap put 1 copy of Buster Whelp for Dragon Buster Destruction Sword to lock the extra deck or are the negates from DMM, Sifr and Spirit Ultimate enough to lock with Buster?
i think that with 3 negates from magia, 1 negate from ultimate spirit, 1 negate from sifr and a graveyard lock plus monster zone lock from buster dragon and blader u don't need nothing else XD
To put one copy of Whelp I would need to put also one copy of the Buster link monster that sends it to graveyard, that's is not optimal unless you draw more cards in hand that allow a greater combo. So things like this consume consistency. So I prefer to cut it down and run a more smooth deck.
Buster Blader Blue-Eyes? Interesting.
I would like to believe I'm fairly decent when it comes to knowing how to play Blue-Eyes, but I never attempted combining them with Buster Bladers, as I don't know jackshit about those.
The only archetypes I ever tried to combine Blue-Eyes with were Galaxy/Photon, but I ended up going for a separate Blue-Eyes and Galaxy/Photon stuff deck instead of using them combined, due to how exceptionally inconsistent it was.
Than again, I can't say I don't approve, as cards of other archetypes can sometimes make an archetype shineeven brighter. Like how I dumped a Salamangreat Almirage in my Insect deck, just to make it more consistent. No for anything related to Almirage's effect mind you, just as a way to dump two of my possible normal summons in the graveyard, which are more useful there, than in my hand or field.
This is definietly a very interesting deck, but I'm not sure about how consistent it'll be, with so many cards in the combo that you don't really want to draw in your starting hand. Heck, you really only want to see cards from the full playsets in your starting hand, and most definietly not the rest of the traps, or either of the field spells.
The combination of Buster Blader and Blue-Eyes can be an intriguing and potentially powerful strategy, but it does come with some consistency challenges that need to be carefully considered.
However, as you noted, the deck can suffer from inconsistency due to the large number of specific combo pieces required to make it function optimally. Drawing the right mix of Buster Blader and Blue-Eyes cards in the opening hand is crucial, as you don't want to be stuck with too many of one type or the other. This can lead to hands that struggle to establish a strong board presence or execute the combo efficiently
@@Tenshimaruit should be buster blader with blue eyes engine, not blue eyes deck with buster blader engine, you increase the blue eyes deck ceiling but not its power. In otherwords, you can do more, but it doesnt increase your chances of winning. Imo, pure blue eyes better, more consistent
