This stuff works so much better over a beauty balm, cc cream or tinted moisturizer. It just doesn’t apply as well without it. Looks nice over Elf Holo glow liquid filter too. But it definitely needs a base or good smoothing primer

There’s a ton of fairer colors available.
102, 108, 110, 112, 118, 120, 129, then 130. We are usually the same shade in nearly everything and my skin is like the Sahara, too. I think I’m going to try shade 108. I hope that it looks and wears nice on me. I don’t wear makeup for long time periods anyway, so this may be a good solution for me. Can’t hurt to try it.

I’d also love to buy a true Celtic handmade button front cardigan in the natural oatmeal color with lower front pockets. My goal clothing purchase. They’re EXPENSIVE AF, but the time that was put into it and the longevity of a piece like that makes it a great purchase to me. My maternal grandmother was 100% Irish (O’Gara), so I know she’d be ecstatic for me (from above) when/if I’m ever able to afford such a good quality and classically beautiful handmade piece. ☘️

If you ever get over to Spain, bear in mind that Spain is an exception to your mom's "seen one castle seen 'em all" rule. Spanish castles are very different and fascinating! The Alcazaba of Almería is nothing like the Alcázar of Segovia, for instance, and once you open it up to fortified palaces? Whew. Fun fact: the Alcázar of Segovia was one of Disney's inspirations for the castle in Cinderella. Anyway, glad you're having fun!
I am in England. I got 05 but it is too dark for me! (Im usually a similar shade to you for most foundations!). I went for 05 over 03 as it looked cooler, whereas 03 looked a bit too yellow/neutral. I think there is a 02 that looks more suitable but not all major places like superdrug etc, stock the full range in the shop ! I think I'll have to order it online from Boots. Enjoy 🇮🇪!

Lovely video, Shelly, thank you! It's funny how we have such similar skin types, but can still have different experiences with the same foundations. It must be a host of other minute differences that changes the experience for us all. I own this and am quite smitten with it at the moment. It's been beastly hot and humid in the far northeastern US, so I haven't worn makeup on any kind of consistent basis, but this one has held up well and looked very nice. As others have mentioned, there are a number of shades available that are lighter than #130. I use shade 120 in this foundation which matches my 120 in the Fit Me Dewy + Smooth foundation and makes it easier to find a good match. I love the formula of this skin tint. It's dewy, lightweight and looks very smooth on my skin. It also doesn't crease or accentuate pores or texture. 👍
Can you tell me how it compares to the Dewy/ Smooth, in your opinion? 🧐

Wow, that mascara really grabbed my attention--your lashes look very long and lifted! The only thing I've tried from Revolution is their meadowfoam seed oil cleansing milk, which is very good and inexpensive. Love a lifting mascara, so may need to check that one out.

I visited the Giant’s causeway in 2003 and it’s so beautiful.
I got shade 10 too and waiting for my delivery on Friday. I think it’s going to be too dark as I lost my tan due to the weather being shitty here in London but at least my garden is happy and green 😂

I think it's called Nando's. LOL! You crack me up!!! I love Ireland so much! Thanks for sharing some of Derry and I love the music. I haven't tried this foundation, but I really like the Catrice version of this. Doesn't look like plastic wrap and definitely holds up and is sweatproof. It's kind of matte, but it doesn't dry out my dry older skin at all!

Derry is fantastic! You should totally go there. We always stay at the Maldron hotel inside the city walls and it's walkable to everything.

I just picked up the Maybelline skin tint the other day and need to try it out. I like the L'Oreal one and bought a pack of pumps to replace the droppers. Highly recommend those!
One of my bucket list items is to travel to Europe and spend a night in a castle. I love castles, but have yet to see a real one (not the "castles" we have in the US) in person.

Hey Shelley! sad to see you struggling with foundation undertones 😔 You can try to use a blue pigment mixer- it won’t change any foundation ❤ it only adjusts the color so you can get the best out of your face makeup 💄 also you can get a white one to lighten it. I think Loreal who own Maybelline always make the mistake of adding alcohol denat to 'serum' foundations, in my opninion this is really not good for mature or dry skins at all 😥

I love this video! The natural lighting and a bad hair day are outdone only by that foundation. I think the finish is waxy; does Madame Tussaud's need some supplies? Or maybe it's from a mortuary supply? It's awful, but you're balancing lights in such a way, I thought it was natural light from a window. Maybe that's the problem. Anyway, I love the plucky spirit behind this! Enjoy every moment of your trip and do feed us more!

I dont wear water proof mascara for the reason i cant get it off and it takes my lashes with it..but cleansing balm is a game changer..
They have lighter shades. I am shade 110. In the states. They even have one lighter that I would like to get my hands on shade 108. I couldn’t find 108 in the store but this is my new holy grail foundation

Shelly, have you got any tips for finding a good deal on an airline ticket to Ireland? We want to go next summer. Do you have an airline preference? What website do you use? Thanks!
Off peak dates used to make it easy to find cheap flights (one time I found flights in March for $350 round trip) but I haven't seen a single flight under 800 or so round trip since the pandemic. I will never fly Aer Lingus again, so I would recommend avoiding them, but I've had good flights there with United, and liked Air Canada as well once when my Aer Lingus was canceled and work routed me through Toronto on another carrier.
Hi. I am buying the jones rd powder per your recommendation..does it work well with the WTF to help it last longer? What color powder do uou use?
It does!! I have both the translucent/white and the pink one and I use the pink one most of the time. (I would say if you're a cool undertone, the pink enhances that - but if you don't want that, don't go pink). It doesn't look pink on the skin but it sort of gives a boost to the coolness (which I like but is definitely an aesthetic preference). I set my undereyes with the pink in the Aquaphor hack test video and I don't think it worked as well under the eyes because I have dark circles - translucent would have been a better choice there.

I think the US only has the non-waterproof version (which is actually better for me lol).

I think it would and I'd probably do concealer first (which is opposite of my norm) - mainly because I think the finish of the skin tint will look more uniform going over the concealer just in case the concealer is slightly higher coverage than the tint.
The mascara looks good on you...as in the length and volume ..

I think the 10 was the shade number overseas - I think it would be 120 in the US (though I would try a little lighter if I bought it again, maybe 112).
