Find it baffling how Richard Eden & this show have completely ignored the fact that the Duchess of Edinburgh was in Baghdad, Iraq this week doing amazing work. Why are you ignoring the groundbreaking work she's doing especially as the first Royal to visit Baghdad.

I am the grandma of 11 (and counting) and I am done with Disney. I used to spend thousands on costumes, regular clothes, toys and trips to the Magic Kingdom. No more. Our family of 21 is going on a cruise next month and we purposefully did not choose Disney.

I would hope so. He was very jealous of Diana rather than proud of her. I often wonder if he hadn’t been so self absorbed and been more supportive ( and less obsessed with Camilla) if things wouldn’t have turned out differently. It is the media feeding the idea of competition and jealousy between the royals. The King and Queen and the Wales's are a tight unit. Any positive response to members of the RF is great for the institution, whichever member of the RF receives it. Jealousy and competitiveness is a characteristic of the Montecito pair, not the RF.

When police are used at large concerts or soccer matches etc they are policing the public of the UK which is exactly what they are meant to do . They are not ever rented out to private rich people in a private capacity.

If I choose to quit my job and move away I don't get to keep the company car and I certainly don't get to take it with me. We all have restraints on our lives. Harry's restraint was that by stepping down as a working royal he lost privileges, including his security detail, and he has to pay for it himself.
His grandmother the late Queen explained this to him very clearly. That's why she gave him a whole year to think about it. I guess he thought she was bluffing and he could get his way in this just like he had in everything else.

Apparently the RED BOX OF LETTERS (documents or whatever the Papers are called) from Parliament, that need to be individually read and signed arrive in the Palace office by 5:15am, guarded and opened at 5:30am. Queen Elizabeth II used to be up and dressed ready to read the red box at 5:30am, then would eat a healthy cooked breakfast at 8/8:30am. The King has stuck to the schedule

I usually think Richard Eden is fairly sensible, but I think he’s way off here. For goodness sake, just because Harry said something about rivalries in the Royal family doesn’t make it true. Given his delusional track record I’m inclined to disbelieve it. The King and Queen aren’t fools. I’m sure they appreciate the positive press that the Prince and Princess of Wales attract.
To be fair to Richard, he said that the supposed complaints came from some courtiers, not that they were felt by the Royals themselves. And he said something about it being believed by the public because of the ideas put out with Charles and Diana and then in Harry’s book. It didn’t sound like he personally believed it, although i did not read his printed article. I don’t believe in such a thing, if it ever existed, because the King must know how much they all need the positive publicity from the Wales to help the popularity of the Monarchy- especially with so few of them being working royals now.

Our family is firmly middle income; we earned degrees, support the local church, volunteer to assist unhoused folks. I think the point of Princess Catherine attending was to highlight the children being invited so that they may learn about the importance of 🐝 etc. on an environmental level. As a US taxpayer, I’m more concerned about the upcoming court case regarding Prince Harry’s IPP status. If he wins, both the UK and US taxpayers would then be tapped to pay for their security and that would not go over well here in the States.
Not just the UK or America - but any EU or Nato country they decide to 'visit' - in a way it concerns the best part of the world... the Courts, Judge & RF would definitely suffer BIG TIME if they get awarded IPP status - hopefully the is Karma & the first court loss is a sign of things to come..

I read Angela Kelly's second book, The other side of the coln, and I really enjoyed it. It is a tribute to the friendship and she did dress the Queen beautifully and I think that her Majesty appreciated the image she was able to portray in her latter years thanks to Angela and Stuart Parvin.

She was known to have said that she wanted to be the Princess of Wales and she read too many fairytale novels. And nobody in Charles's social circle wanted to give up their privacy and independence to marry Charles and Diana was basically the only option and she seemed perfect on paper and in all the times the two met up before they got married. Charles couldn't have been happier, he thought Diana was a godsend and he didn't even bother to get to know or fall in love with her properly, he thought she was perfect and wanted to get married as quickly as possible. He was never jealous of her attention, he's not stupid but he did get angry when Diana vindictively tried to undermine him in public.

If I choose to quit my job and move away I don't get to keep the company car and I certainly don't get to take it with me. We all have restraints on our lives. Harry's restraint was that by stepping down as a working royal he lost privileges, including his security detail, and he has to pay for it himself.

Queen Elizabeth II used to be up and dressed ready to read the red box at 5:30am, then would eat a healthy cooked breakfast at 8/8:30am. The King has stuck to the schedule

As a US taxpayer, I’m more concerned about the upcoming court case regarding Prince Harry’s IPP status. If he wins, both the UK and US taxpayers would then be tapped to pay for their security and that would not go over well here in the States.

I read Angela Kelly's second book, The other side of the coln, and I really enjoyed it. It is a tribute to the friendship and she did dress the Queen beautifully and I think that her Majesty appreciated the image she was able to portray in her latter years thanks to Angela and Stuart Parvin.

On the contrary. Diana's father wished she married a regular chap and came to live with him. He is quoted as having said so. Diana was the one who actively gunned after Charles. She was known to have said that she wanted to be the Princess of Wales and she read too many fairytale novels. And nobody in Charles's social circle wanted to give up their privacy and independence to marry Charles and Diana was basically the only option and she seemed perfect on paper and in all the times the two met up before they got married. Charles couldn't have been happier, he thought Diana was a godsend and he didn't even bother to get to know or fall in love with her properly, he thought she was perfect and wanted to get married as quickly as possible. He was never jealous of her attention, he's not stupid but he did get angry when Diana vindictively tried to undermine him in public.

She survived and thrived. Tina Turner created a fabulous life for herself and her son's. RIP 🙏
