    I test rode one 2 weeks ago and it's excellent, could'nt fault it one bit, even the horn sounds good. For non 'lofty' riders I'm 5ft 10' and can flat foot it and it's very comfortable.

    All modern Enfields are easy to ride and fun. To me that is all I want. 40bhp is plenty today, torque at low rpm is what you need. and these Adventure bikes have taken over from belly on tank sports bike, built only for fast riding for an hour. I have a lovely Meteor 350 and always ride two up, I think this what I need for touring.

    Had the old Himalayan model and loved it apart from lack of power on dual carriageways and motorways. Looks like that wont be a problem on this model. Great review!

    It looks like a motorcycle to enjoy secondary roads and rocky paths, it is exactly the motorcycle I would buy if I could be free to do what I wanted, but at the moment I have obligations with my family. Thank you for the video and take care.

    Great review, as per usual, just real riding ..... excellent!!! Have to say, I'm not generally a fan of adventure type bikes but this one does grab my attention, especially in the black and gold. Haven't seen one in the flesh yet, my local dealer, in Bristol, is still waiting. I've had my Hntr 350 (Rebel Red) for just over a year now and I can't get enough of it ...... enjoyed your review of the Hntr, too. Love your Cornish countryside and like your little test route too. Can't believe that river across the dual carriageway is mains water, I thought it was just run off from fields ....... All the best, Phil

    This looks much better than the earlier ones. Mate of mine has the '21 air cooled version and i'm surprised how slow it is. He's not a big guy and it can't even hold 70 on the dual carriageways.

    Don't know if it was just my device but the audio was quite low lofty. The RE is a much more serious bike than the style exercised Triumph 400 and much more to my tastes. Like you the grey does it no favours but the black one really pops, nice review as usual.

    Bang for buck it’s pretty good and it dose every thing it says on the tin ,one thing I like it’s not covered in plastic it’s not a twin but you can still take it any where they took the 411 a lot of country’s this is faster more power

    Would this be better than the Honda nx500 you do appear to get more for your money and I guess this would be better off road than the Honda I have a 2019 cb500x with the single front rotor normal front forks. I always fit crash bars and a centre stand and hand guards. I guess I am never going to know until I go test ride both bikes back to back.

    Too dear for me, you can get an old one brand new for around £3800 they still selling them while stocks last. You can have a brand new NX500 for about £1000 more than this, on PCP not much more a month, id opt for that if i wanted a reliable economical bile. Too many saying Vibrations can be felt through HB and Pegs, think you would defo have to ride one to decide? Hope RE have not messed up a cult following bike with this model. I hope it sells well, but atm im not too sure?

    • @theloftybiker3090
      @theloftybiker3090  4 месяца назад

      Overall, the Himalayan 450 has 3,000 mile / 5,000 km or 6-month service intervals. At every service, you need to do a comprehensive inspection. But you only need change the oil and filter, plus the air filter, every two services - 6,000 miles / 10,000 km or every year.
