@@MrCh0o i think she intentionally direct fubuki in that area so that she place the final blow cause if fubuku put the pieece where the final play is funuki can defend sui attack on that area
yeah it was hard, it was harder than it look.. you probably think you can guess what are they planning to do with their placement but im pretty sure even the players themselves didnt even plan that much ahead and only tries to win or block your move, and then gets lucky with the placement
There are actually clear traps to the game in the form of straight diagonals (Suiseis last move was not a lucky accident). The challenge is to make moves around that. There are priority moves as well if you're not on the defense and that is to push for free 4 pieces . forget about strategic placement or blocking the opponents' placement. Because your opponent cannot place their pieces strategically while on defense. suiseis
I have seen all of Sui-chan Gomoku stream, the speed of her improvement is lightning fast. She got a clear strategy and is brave enough to follow it through. She plays the game just like how she lives.
I don't know gomoku very well so I'm not exactly sure how early the game was lost for Fubuki, but I _think_ that the move she played at 4:30 (placing on 2,4; I dunno if gomoku has a specific notation system so I'm just going with graph coordinates :^) ) actually soft forced herself to lose. Suisei had to play 3,3 to not lose, then Fubuki had to play 3,6 to not lose. From there, Suisei had a forced win which she didn't find immediately but played a few turns later: 3,2 -> 3,1 is forced from Fubuki -> 2,3 which threatens both 4,1 and 1,4. I feel like positionally speaking Suisei was winning anyway, but I did find it funny that Fubuki found the one move that guided Suisei to a win; kind of like finding a move in chess that forces your opponent to checkmate you :p
The game is not complicated like chess since you're racing to connect 5 dots. But when you're being led across the board defending (fbk on defense), then you have higher chances to lose. There was a pause in the 5 min mark by fubuki wondering where to place the stone, and IF she blocked the bottom corner, the game would have lasted longer. Suisei took advantage of it for the win.
@@hassenocafe yes, at the 5 minute mark with the game as it was, the board was still defendable because Suisei hadn't played the winning move a few turns back. My point was that the move did exist and that Fubuki led Suisei into the opportunity :p
I don't play gomoku but i used to play a bit of Go. An interesting bit is that often the optimal move is the same for both players! This translates pretty well to a game of territory-capturing, visualize it as a strategic mountaintop or something
Speakin Sui-chan: hard difficulty
Silent Sui-chan: hell difficulty
I love that Suisei has a history of scaring holomems with her silence
That comes with a resume of scaring holomem in general 🤣🤣
Meanwhile, when she was playing minecraft with Toko back then
That little exhale-laugh Fubuki did after "Hoshimachi da" at 0:11
It really gives that "haha, I'm in danger" vibe
Fox: I lost to sui-chan
Miko: first time?
Fox: Oh please. When was the last time you won against anyone
@@TheyCallMeDioui-mama :mikosmug:
that was a wild turnaround, fubuki had the tempo for like 10 rally in a row. suisei has a good defense.
Silence Suisei is the scariest because her thought frequency will increase & even when talking her thought frequency is already above average.
That was the best game I've seen from anyone in Hololive. Incredibly evenly matched to the end!
She got the fox shaking i love suisei n this cute fox friend
She already saw that chance at bottom left, and just wait until fubuki attacks stop. And than coming for the killing blow. Trully magnificent
Well, unless she was just toying with Fubuki at that point, she could've done it regardless of her attacks at 4:41 and 5:06

This was actually a pretty good game, i was on the edge of my seat watching every move lol
from tetris to mario kart and now gomoku
you forgot apex legend
how dare yall forgot the snowy mountain suicopath................
Now that was an intense game of Gomoku
Sui-chan: Omae wa mou shibuya.
wow that seemed like a close match the whole way through! good plays for both of them!
No one can mess with Suisei
Suichan got Fubuki trapped in a small space that was pretty good
Silent Suichan like a Terminator
amazing match! sui-chan super strong!
Avenging the Miko match. For her business partner.
4:40 black can force a win here.
Fubuki started getting in the zone too. What a game.
I'm tense while watching and not knowing any rules
Suisei: "..."
Fubuki: "Scariest shit I ever seen."

The subtitles "Fox noises" was so cute.

Nah, there would be much more self advertising if that was true
Intense
Very intense game!
Wow fubuki is always so playfull against other but its my first time seing fubu chan this quiet😂
This was intense
I didn't read the title right and watched it thinking they were playing Go for longer than I'd like to confess…
Wild Fox!

Explains why Suisei has missed it for at least two turns, I guess she also didn't realize her defending was coincidentally a lethal setup😅
@@grilledflatbread4692 I thought they were the same thing until I read your comment.
i love foober 😎
My record is 20 minutes,
Our giga chad god suisei 10x that time for a solid 2 minute ez run
If you increase font size and lower text scale then the little sharp edge on letters like "c" will go away
I'm little confused, it was before Sui-chan did RTA all CPU 2 28 min?
yes it was before, fbk is the one who asked sui to do the RTA challenge
Good game!
did sui let fbk defend the first straight? she has great attack and it was guaranteed win
how come this cat so boing boing
Not sure about the 3:42 piece by FFK, felt like a wasted defensive move which didn't set up for an attack.
I think, Mikochi is happy now, because Sui-chan win (although not do this for Mikochi 😅😂)
Scary suisei, classic suisei. Sasuga my waifu.
