It's so weird to think how a full adaptation of the game was just available before the movie came out. The novelization came out before the movie too. These days, Disney keeps a tight lid on the movies story, even after it comes out.

i remember vissiting my Grandmother when this game came out and showed her the real bad guy Palpatine and pointed him out, and she just said "bad guy? that fucker looks like ME!" and i almost died before she did at the young age of 107 years.

I loved the Jedi Temple mission as Anakin!
I love this game. It's a bit dated and repetitive now, but the choreography and the boss fights still remain a highlight. That being said, my favorite "???" moment is the inclusion of (or lack of) Padme and Luke. There is *nothing* in the cinematics or level summaries regarding Padme except a missable line "You turned Padme against me!" And then at the end, (not including the bonus level with Ben Kenobi) there's this random kid. Anybody who doesn't know Star Wars is like, "Who's baby is this?!? What is happening?!?"
This game had the best saber combat ever. Even to this day with PS5 and Xbox One X there hasn't been a game that had such a crisp 1v1 ligthsaber combat feel. Good times!

It's hard if you don't know how to force heal. Took me forever to figure that out. Once you learn how to force heal, the game becomes hilariously easy.
I don't remember it being that difficult somewhat easily cheesed. Just run away like a coward and heal.
Nah fam your far from alone, i had this on the original xbox i ended up giving up on this when i was like 10~12 and going in on Republic Commando and it was just as hard
Adding that crunch noise to hard landings genuinely made me cringe and my knees hurt.

igbh after all those intense gameplay, bossfighting, amazing cutscenes and the part where anakin killed obi-wan that gives me nightmares i never forget. I still feel like playing this game again. Still I wish we could kill some younglings instead of those neimodians on mustafar.

"you can only use 8 characters" as someone whose name has 9 characters, playing games as a kid was a pain.
I never got to play this game, but I did watch a playthrough of it. I'd love to be able to play this one day, should Aspyr make a remake of this. As it is RotS, I suspect Disney would allow it to be it canon. Unfortunately, that would mean we wouldn't get the alternate ending where Anakin kills Obi-Wan.

Man. I wish they'd kept the Anakin and Obi-Wan touching themselves thing (that sounded super sketchy xD) because it shows how close they are. They're speaking in code. They made up a freaking code to talk to each other when they're surrounded by enemies... Fucking nerds! I love them!

I pre-ordered this game from the Gamestop at the Mall near me to play with my nephew and when we took it home and opened it up it had a misburn on the disc, a perfect circle where there was like NO DATA burned onto the Disc right in the middle.

Even though I haven't played this game in over a decade, PTSD from the mission on Mustufar ironed the cheats xucphra and kaiburr (unlimited health and force) into the deepest parts of my brain.

When you keep on fire at the close end of the game you can see in the cut scene your still firing the cannon and aome rimes it cuts out Obiwan and Ankain walking out of the room talking in no sound its funny

Now that I think about it, Aspyr SHOULD remake the Revenge of the Sith game for the PS4. It would look SO good on an HD console, also, they should add online multiplayer to where you can have hours and hours of fun having lightsaber duels against your friends and opponents!

I didn't realize they got 2003 Clone Wars Palpatine's voice for Palpatine.
I think they got 2003 Anakin's VA for Anakin as well.
Yeah they use the same voice actors for pretty much all the characters.
If you ever played the Game boy version of revenge of the Sith, they use the same soundtrack as the 2003 clone wars.
Fond memories, playing this game and then going to the movie with friends to watch it later.

If you read the 2017 Darth Vader comic series (set immediately after the events of episode 3) that “snooty librarian” survives Order 66 and gets a bad ass moment where she fights Vader with a lightsaber powered rail gun.
