I love my floodlight! Got it right when it hit the shelves!
Do you guys ever plan to release a Wyze Cam Pan outdoor version and possibly with a flood light? That way we can have 360 view outdoor.
I've been waiting since the original came out. PTZ would be nice.

With the latest firmware update getting error3001. Submitted vlogs and reached out to Wyze. They haven't fixed. Numerous complaints on forums about it. Firmware also screwed up PanCam. I would hold off buying until they fix. I have eight.
I'm glad Wyze is partnering with Homedepot gives me even more confidence in Wyze, I have complete wyze ecosystem, I hope you guys always stay true to affordability and not abandon older products. I think I can say us customers will still buy your new products no need to make older stuff unusable like other companies. Loyal customer here😁👍
Well they just abandoned the V1 Camera. So it is bound to happen. I love all my Wyze stuff, but as tech changes they will end up abandoning old stuff, like everyone else does.
Does it have motion detection for the lights to come on I don't want the light on unless something triggered it ?
Only a screwdriver? I think not, I needed a 3.5" hole saw, 3" round work box, 14/2 wire and a drill. But, then again, up until a year ago, I never even had power in my garage, so I was really starting from scratch. LOL
Seriously, if you already have a light in place, all you're going to need is a screwdriver and maybe a pair of wire strippers.
So it does need to be plugged in somewhere to electricity?
Is it 220v? Or battery? does your solar panel can connect to it?? Can it be use with outdoor cam??
It’s wired . No solar panel bc it’s wired only . No , only v3. Why would you want to use the outdoor cam ? It sucks , v3 is wayyyy better
I like this a lot, the direct control from the camera is great. I have a 3rd party one that acts more like a holder but still works, but the additional siren, motion sensor control and being able to also run a 2nd camera off from the power source is a great bonus!

When will the new firmware come out to address some of the bugs with the floodlight? The most annoying bug is the floodlight turning on every time you log into the camera to view the live stream if the settings are set to pir and motion detected to turn on the floodlight
Do you all ever plan to release a doorbell that will work with our existing doorbell chime?
Love all my Wyze products. I have Wyze cams V3s, thermostats, cam pan, sensors and self monitoring, BUT I hate the Wyze plug. I’ve bought 3 packs and they always disconnect. I wish I could get them replaced but I hope they release and update to fix this issue. Other than that, love all their products.

The plugs are💯% JUNK..period❗they should have recalled them..I also gave a chit load as gifts..same with theirs..they're PAPERWEIGHTS..like their first scale..

Will insects trigger the motion detector? I live in southwest Florida and my current light is continuously turning off and on when a bug flies by which makes it unusable.

And also I lied , bugs do trigger the floodlight even set when to only turn on when motions been detected by the pir sensor !
Spiders and flying insects have triggers mine.
2 questions... Firstly, What are the temperature limits? it gets to -40C here, but routinely -30. And secondly, I'd want to put the second camera about 12feet away... is there an extension cord? Can I just use any USB extension?
How can we find out the "SMall electrical work" details before ordering?

What's the distance that the PIR catches motion? My existing light is off 2nd floor - maybe 25-30' up...
I found it is not designed for that height.

I loved the bloopers are the end. I would love to see the installation instructions prior to buying as well. Is that possible? The Wyze Video Doorbell was easy enough to install, but it required some brick drilling I wasn't initially prepped for. ;-)
The bloopers are in line with my negative experience with two of these WYZE FLOOD LIGHT CAM V3

Major flaw: most houses have a soffit floodlight and this is not made for that
First dose it work with Alexa and google before I order it second I have a Wyze doorbell V1 it never worked with Alexa and google this is why I didn’t order the Wyze doorbell V2 in case I have the same problems been in touch with Wyze about this Wyze has never got back to me to fix the issues bad customer service
Mine work fine with Alexa. So does my door bell, and all my other cameras.. Not sure what is up with yours? Assume you have the Wyze Skill paired in the Alexa app, etc?
I have had nothing but issues with this product. I have 2. I have worked with the WYZE help on the telephone and on-line without any resolution. It works except for the PLAYBACK and EVENT PLAYBACK. There is NO SOUND playback when you try to view PLAYBACK or VENT PLAYBACK.
I have gone through all the troubleshooting step as described multiply times as well as a full reset and starting over. Today in calling WYZE CS again, they were not accommodating at all.
I cannot recommend this product to anyone. The stand along Cam v3 works fine in other areas of my home but the WYZE CAM FLOOD LIGHT is not a go. AVOID at all costs.

Yes...Mine has go through several thunder storms and they are working just fine.

Not in my town! My local Home Depot doesn't carry the Cam Floodlight. The nearest one is 60 miles away and they won't ship it (in store pickup only) not even to my local store! Your site says it's always out of stock! My wife is disabled and I'm a Service Connected Disabled Veteran and I'll be hard pressed to drive the 60 miles just for the sole purpose of getting two of these!!! In stead of supplying a few Home Depots how about they all get the stocked or better yet have them on your site before putting them in stores!!!

Tried Wyze doorbell camera, could not recall events, no support from Wyze team would not recommend to anyone
Hello, I have used your products for more than three years, and I have a suggestion. I am interested in sharing my live videos on RUclips 24/7 using your cameras.
Putting the camera inside a box of a bird that is preparing its nest to have its children.
It would be a good idea to prepare a camera for that purpose to sell it in the USA as well as there is already one in the UK and China.
I share that idea with you and let me know what you think of it, I would be the first to buy from you and share that new product with my friends.
Why not say it need external power?
floodlight has a lot of issues , sensitive pir sensor so it gets triggered by a lot of things , floodlights turn on when viewing the live stream . late to turn on floodlights
one weird thing i found out about this floodlight is that the pir sensor is engineered together with the wyze cam v3’s motion sensitivity. yes you read that correctly , i spoke to wyze and they informed me about that . so when i first set my floodlight settings they were … floodlights to turn on when motion is detected by the pir sensor > pir sensor distance at 15% and sensitivity to low . yet i was getting a lot of false motion light activations all the freaking time it was frustrating when i spoke to wyze they informed me that the motion detection sensitivity is engineered with the pir sensor . so i had my motion detection sensitivity to 100 that way it could pick up motion far away and record an event yet it was being triggered by my neighbors 100 ft away and just about everything from cars , headlights , loud ambulances etc etc . i lowered my motion detection sensitivity to about 20 and it’s been all good since the reason i mention this is because a regular floodlight is pir sensor motion activated and wyze made this floodlight weird so it’s pir sensor motion activated and it’s also engineered with the camera even tho you don’t want to have the camera connected to the pir sensor that’s how it’s been set up really weird .

So now that WYZE cameras cannot differentiate motion and people what purpose does buying this garbage have?
