For $85, it's really a great buy, even without a subscription. Again, 85 bucks. Also, most crooks wouldn't know that the floodlight is recording locally, including sound, and despite them knocking it down or spraypainting the lens thinking all is well, it is still recorded locally to the point power is lost, and the footage up top that point is retrievable. Even if one goes up to the "PRO" version for $150, the resolution to "2.5K" with the Pro will still be that disappointing 720p look due to the low FPS and bitrate Wyze uses.
Sucks that it won’t work with cam plus lite. It seems only their 1080p cameras will work with cam plus lite where their 2k cameras won’t. Would you go with black or white version?

Do you find it keeps continuous recording even when there is no motion?

i just ordered a white one, but can't believe you need a subscription for it to have person detection 😐
