I live in Long Island New York and I'm supposed to be going to New Jersey this week to purchase a Big Tex 7 by 14 high wall dump trailer the guy quoted us the price of a $11k paying cash so he will be able to do better on the price thought this is exactly the video I was looking for see real-life working conditions and see how the trailer works and I was told to look over the paint and the welds but there's a few more dealers I have in mind also to negotiate a better price. Thanks for the video
Thanks for the video I been wanting a 7 by 14 cant decide between a goose or bumper pull. And also cant find one lol they are several months behind here in east tn.
Im out of NC and drove with my bro to florida for a 7x14x3 for 7 grand by topshelf seemed like a good trailer with the stillwell hydraulic tongue jack and he waited 3 weeks and i bought mine last year from trailer country 7x14x2 mine came with ramps his didnt good trailers yea may seem cheaper than the other but kind of same use and still dont hurt the bank and plus we use them more than what theyre rated for also just bought a kti wr-005 wireless remote controlled also bluetooth and man thats awesome. I would look for sleequipment in antioch TN good luck man
Here in Oregon no one has dump trailers in stock either, except my local motorcycle shop started carrying them- so I snagged the 7-14 LD. 14k bulldog was on it, but I’d like to upgrade to the Stillwell hydraulic.
We have 2 of these that all they do is haul logs (tree service) we’ve had the same small repairs but overall great trailers. My advice for the jack is get a bull dog (bully dog ?) 12k jack for the front. Haven’t had an issue with a jack since we went up to the 12k
When your 19 350 is due for replacement would you consider a 3500 Chev to try? It would be interesting to see how well an ifs HD truck holds up compared to the solid axle
Great review, nice video. Good looking set up you got. Only thing I’ll suggest is, I would have liked to see the trailer being pulled and reversed etc. And definitely cool to see it dump. But solid video!
Is that left side (passenger side) fender rubbing the tire? The side nearest the rear looks darn close in the video but may not be that close seeing it in person. Thanks for the trailer review. As always, great content!
Good video.... Yeah I'd say you beat it. By the way...dont let anybody tell you different....the face looks aaaaalot...better after the run in with the tree. HA
Thank you I just purchased one 16,000 pounds exactly like yours just wanted to hear your opinion and by the way I like your videos I watch them all the time only thing I don’t like about you is your Bragg too much about Ford Lol
