For selling woodchips, you will need to pull a trailer that supports woodchips up next to the box of woodchips and hit R to load the woodchips into the trailer. The sell points only accept the woodchips being tipped out of a trailer not the boxed pallet form. Not sure why the sawmills outputs them this way if the sell points don't accept them like that.
Hey Daggerwin - You really need to add 9 sec black screeen at the end of each episode. So often does the last content get lost behind the "watch next".
I agree but I believe many RUclipsrs don’t do it because it has a negative effect on view duration - everybody clicks off at that point and doesn’t stay for another 10 seconds, meaning RUclips recommends the video to less people :)
@lee53_ agreed but he could also just put them to the side so we can still see the video or people turn it off anyway so wouldnt make a big difference
Sometimes, you get a RUclipsr that says, “So, as you can see where it says…” well, we can’t see it because the end cards are in the way! Also, the subscribe button is in the way on some channels too.
If you don't get that Valtra, then I'd say your blinking bonkers. Sorry for being blunt there, that is one hell of an investment. I'd get another loan out, buy it then get loads of wood in that saw mill. The next day you can make enough money to sort the loan.
It's not that great. If a tractor is over 50h, you should consider to sell it - maintenance is starting to get expensive. The used one may be 60% off, If you buy any extras (stronger motor, wheels), you pay 100% for these. And you have to repair the thing right away. All in all the whole package is much less than these 60% off. But almost half of the useful life is already gone.
@Rdlprmpf12 true but when you consider it only had 22 hours on the clock. Then yeah that's pretty good for the short term especially at the stage he is at here.
You can carry anything by hand that is under 200kg. Also, jeez, that leasing cost for the sawmill is comically low. You can make 100k a month off that (on Normal) if you keep it fully stocked.
yeah its a problem with the current design and game loop, it's boring repetitive and not rewarding at all, they should have implemented more mechanics around that feature
When you place down one off the big sawmills in productions you can get wood transport missions to your own sawmill so you get paid for the contract and you get the wood it’s a win win
NOOOOOO!!!!!! I caught up on the series! I commented on a previous video, not sure if you seen the comment yet or not but ill say it again here just incase I recommend softening the terain around the water source to make it nice and smooth to drive in and out of, I also added a painted gravel path up to my own to make it look a little bit nicer. Been loving the series so far and I've learned a lot while playing my own play through on riverbend
you need to fill a tipper trailer with the woodchips from the pallets. then you can tip them into the sell point trigger. but please wait till the price is at the highest for them, there is some good money to be made from woodchips
Day 3? of suggesting: You REALLY need to look into purchasing the medium sawmill. Leasing is great, but has the downside of you losing whatever wood didn't get made into product when you drop the lease since you can force it to spawn an incomplete pallet. So if your wood is made into 3900L of beams, you'll get 3 pallets of beams to sell, and 900L of beams, nearly $9k in wood, will be lost. FS25 has 3 sawmills you can buy and place: The small one you bought early on that cost 36k. Good for making a little side cash off of debris trees, not really great income source due to speed and tiny output space. I see it more like a debris crusher. Just a way to delete trees that are in your way, that's cheap and small enough you can slap it down near the worksite, and can make you a bit of side cash off said trees, then you sell it once the site's clear. Saves you the time of hauling all the trees all the way across the map to the sawmill to sell, and the pallets are easier to haul around in bulk. The Medium Sawmill, which is called Sawmill (FL-xxx) I think. Forget what's in the brackets. It costs 150k, has the same production cost and rate as the full size mill that you've just leased, but only does half size batches (Full size mill will turn 416 wood into 275 planks per cycle, 24 cycles per month. Medium sawmill will do 208 wood into 137 planks per cycle, 24 cycles per month.) Has an input capacity of 40,000L, which is plenty for several deadwood contracts, which in turn will net you over 100k at the Temple. Personally my current favorite, as I can see the large sawmill chewing through wood faster than you can keep it fed unless you're running a dedicated logging operation. Having watch more of this episode, Medium sawmill is ALSO nicer, in that it has dedicated output spots for each product type, rather than just mixing everything into a pile. Keeps things easy to pick up, and easy to see what you've got ready to sell at a glance. Also, it doesn't palletize the woodchips. They get their own output are that counts as a tipper spot, so you can park a trailer in it a directly fill the trailer with several thousand liters at once. Makes for a nice bonus payday in the winter when prices are high after several months of processing deadwood. Then there's the large Sawmill. That's the one you've leased, and costs 300k to buy. VERY fast turn around from wood input to product out, and is the only one of the three that can make the prefab walls. But as I mentioned with the medium mill, I'd imagine it'll chew through wood faster than a multi-purpose farmer can keep it fed. Needs a dedicated logging operation to keep it running at full capacity. Of the three, the medium mill is probably the best bang for your buck if your going for a solid source of income that you don't have to dedicate your entire operation to run.
@@Adam-tp6ch True. $800 a month is an incredibly good deal on it, provided you make sure to always have it running each month. The only downside of having it leased is that you will inevitably "pay" an extra several thousand dollars whenever you end the lease, by way of losing out on the very valuable unfinished pallets. Makes the lease not sound quite as good if you think about the cost being: "$800 upfront each month, plus $10k-$15k to close the lease", as that's what it really is unless he manages to time the lease ending right as a fresh batch of pallets is output.
I agree with the medium, the parenthesis text is wood-mizer I think. I got that and it has been working great for me, unless you need prefab I don't see a need to size up at all.
@@spicycupcake Oh, yeah. Wood Mizer is what it is. I mean, upgrading to the full scale sawmill is still good if you're planning on focusing on forestry, as it can process twice as fast as the Wood Mizer can. But if you're just doing forestry on the side like Dagger is, then the Wood Mizer is perfect. Use the small sawmill for on the spot processing of small amounts of wood, like when clearing the cattle pasture. Wood Mizer for actual income source if you plan to do deadwood contracts or clear large areas of land like he is for the goats. Full scale sawmill if you plan to make forestry your primary income source, as you'll want the faster processing it provides.

I feel the same about the trees. So why not recultivate a part of the forest with new trees so they regrow. The steep parts can be used this way. Also you could get into proper forestry with bigger plots and machines with your own big sawmill and a heating plant ;) Also I recommend the more silage mod (or more maize??) with different types of silage and textures.
HEY DAGGERWIN long time sub. I am playing the same series an a similar thing with trees and sawmills. The small ones are wayyyy to slow and the capacity is low if you wanna clear an area out to turn it into a field. I bought the $150k sawmill place able then placed it in the yard you have a cross the road. It’s way faster, gives you wood chips and has way more capacity. It’s worth it!!!!!!

if you are gonna do grapes, please for the love of god. adjust the cost of the vineyard. vines are abt 10x more expensive than in real life and getting a vineyard and a harvester and all the other equipment will make sure you only have a return on investment in like 100 years. if you want me to do a more precise calculation to explain, feel free to ask!
Heard another youtuber talk about how much it takes to finish the temple. Really hoping he was exagerrating lol. He claimed it takes millions of liters of materials and that there isn't enough trees to cut on the whole map so that we have to start planting aswel.
I feel like logging must have been created by a developer at Giants who has left and nobody else understands the code. It has been so buggy for so long that seems like the only logical answer.
I've noticed that the animal dealer at Riverbend does the same thing..I think it only takes the woodchip as biobales or loose since that's a bale sell point, and there's no option to store the woodchip as loose that I can find.
Sawmill Production Planks Long - 9984L of wood per month Planks - 9984L of wood per month Beams - 9984L of wood per month Prefab Walls - 13,843L of wood per month. This production is not divided. It will run all recipes at 100% each month.
I have the Valtra A and use it as my main tractor besides my discounted case quadtrac. Has front and rear PTO and 3 point. Pretty customized. Decent price. Looks amazing with those nobby tires. Haven't checked if you bought it. But I have. Wish they had a small tractor version of it.
4:00 The reason that orange/yellow grape harvester and olive harvester are the exact same price is because it is the exact same machine. It's clearly the one to go for because you won't need to buy or lease two machines, but just one.
hey Daggerwin, you might want to be careful stocking up on round bales, giants are going to remove them from the game in the near future because the cows can't get a square meal.
Meadow grass in pastures is currently bugged. It does not grow back after it's been eaten, even if you take the animals out and leave it empty for an entire year.
For maximum output from your grass, it should be cut 3 times per year during the middle month of each growing season. So April, July, and October. Yes, it is possible to cut 4 times per year, but the yield is the same as doing 3 cuts with that timing. The reason is because the second harvest phase gives a higher yield than the first harvest phase.
Servicing seems to be free at your workshop. Even though it did show it was 8000 odd pounds it never deducted anything... If so you can service the truck for free.. haha
The grape harvester you checked (the orange one) can do both grapes and olives, so no need to have two harvesters
And its same machine in both categories
great
Activate all the products in the sawmill
The sawmill doesn't have divided production and so can produce all of its products with full efficiency
On Hutan Pantai palletised Woodchips can be sold at the Harbour. The other two have to be fine as you have mentioned though.

Insanely cheap, especially when already on an easy economy.

if you are gonna do grapes, please for the love of god. adjust the cost of the vineyard. vines are abt 10x more expensive than in real life and getting a vineyard and a harvester and all the other equipment will make sure you only have a return on investment in like 100 years.
if you want me to do a more precise calculation to explain, feel free to ask!
you can tell this man is forklift certified
Hey daggerwin if you go to the shops near there will be a bridge and under there will be a collectible also love your vids man keep them up
What a circus! I've never seen someone get so thoroughly beaten by a tree
You have to feed the cows to get their price up, because their health is at 0%
11:42 revenge if the trees!
Now you could rent the factories needed for the supplies to finish your construction shed.
hahahah Attack Tree!
Your series is absolutely wonderful! Congratulations and continued success! I really enjoy it when you post!
Heard another youtuber talk about how much it takes to finish the temple.
Really hoping he was exagerrating lol.
He claimed it takes millions of liters of materials and that there isn't enough trees to cut on the whole map so that we have to start planting aswel.
Hey Ho, Farmer hope your farm plans coming along
hi, that made me laugh hard: "oh no, it´s about to going critical." very nice one. 🙂
In order to sell the woodchips you may have to load them loose into a trailer from the crates that's how Peanut had to do it in his stream.
Sawmill Production
Planks Long - 9984L of wood per month
Planks - 9984L of wood per month
Beams - 9984L of wood per month
Prefab Walls - 13,843L of wood per month.
This production is not divided. It will run all recipes at 100% each month.
I think you can get the log fork that you like front loader buckets
I have the Valtra A and use it as my main tractor besides my discounted case quadtrac.
Has front and rear PTO and 3 point.
Pretty customized.
Decent price.
Looks amazing with those nobby tires.
Haven't checked if you bought it. But I have. Wish they had a small tractor version of it.
4:00
The reason that orange/yellow grape harvester and olive harvester are the exact same price is because it is the exact same machine.
It's clearly the one to go for because you won't need to buy or lease two machines, but just one.
Animal dealer do not take pallet it has to be loose,, need to take it to the harbor grain elevator
Did anyone else see that the grape harvester can do olives and grapes
Now we know why piles of logs are so dangerous
11:36 is funny 😄 😁😀😀
Have not seen yet but damn that truck and trailer is right heavy
All small productions are 10x slower than the big ones as far as i have seen
On tonight’s episode. . . Trees attack 😂
Activate prefab walls daggerwin those are valueable
hey Daggerwin, you might want to be careful stocking up on round bales, giants are going to remove them from the game in the near future because the cows can't get a square meal.
Please add the videos to the playlist pretty please and keep up the good work
That log loading scene was the perfect example of "when s*** hits the fan"
meadow grass is bugged currently, so have to feed them grass manually
Meadow grass in pastures is currently bugged. It does not grow back after it's been eaten, even if you take the animals out and leave it empty for an entire year.
For maximum output from your grass, it should be cut 3 times per year during the middle month of each growing season. So April, July, and October. Yes, it is possible to cut 4 times per year, but the yield is the same as doing 3 cuts with that timing. The reason is because the second harvest phase gives a higher yield than the first harvest phase.
You can “fill” the wood chips into a trailer but like seed and fertilizer
Maybe you can install the Parking mod... then you can skip the Ape while tabbing through the vehicles :)
The reason why stuff like this doesn't work is because you try to do the impossible XD
4:10 the 253k Gregoire harvester does both olives and grapes
Check the wood chips peak price, save them next time!
How long before he realizes he didn't have the cash to service the telehandler, and thinks it was a bug that it wasn't repaired
Both the harvesters are same daggerwin...
Oh no Wood chips in the pallet :)
The merlo isn’t bad but maybe think of upgrading it. It looks like it’s not the easiest grapple
Servicing seems to be free at your workshop. Even though it did show it was 8000 odd pounds it never deducted anything... If so you can service the truck for free.. haha
Let the money roll in 🎉🎉🎉
31:38 wood chips need to be loaded into another trailer not the wood boxes
When you’re building, if it says restricted, turn it to free mode and it won’t restrict you
Animal dealer does not take wood chips in crates, you can use trailor which supports chips and load it by hitting R. Then you dump them in there...
Can you set a worker on taking a vehicle to a destination to see how well it does please
11:30 genuine question, why don't you cut that tree into the main log and all the branches? Seems like it'd be way easier and faster to load...
Felt like a real jeremy clarkson moment you had there
11:34. All hell breaks loose..lol
Install Time Saving Stock Check. It's a life saver
You can save yourself a little work and not bother feeding the young cows - keeping them at 0% health and only feeding them once they hit milking age.
I think small productions are broken, youd get more if you just sold the wood
