I saw this when it first came out. When it burst through the cliff face I jumped out of my seat and yelled," Hell Yeah! Fuck with the Best; Die like the Rest!!" This was the only movie I bought the video for.
I hope that didn't get you kicked out of the theatre
I'm sure everyone else was drowning them out anyway from yelling out loud too.😂
Kevin Bacon: Can you fly you sucker!
Ass blaster: hold my fart
"Rhonda...I just...wanted to..."
We all did.
Val: Can you fly sucker?!?! Can you fly?!?!
*Assblasters appear
Assblasters: Can you run sucker?!?! Can you run?!?!
This movie is so cool, love it!
1:08 Kevin Bacon is positioned over the trapdoor for the graboid puppeteers so when he kicks off you can see the panel shake. I do love this movie though!!
Hey you weren't supposed to notice that 😜
Lol it's a low budget movie but the best low budget movie
I mean, it could just be the graboid. It was like 2 feet in front of them, so the hole may have a bit of loose gravel and the guy could have been standing there.
I love little things like this, or like seeing camera operator in the reflection of a car, etc.
A true awesome B movie.
Kevin Bacon: Can you fly you sucker!?
Ass Blaster: Forget the fart, Hold my BEER! And WATCH ME!
Plot twist, they can fly in the sequels
Earl had to do deal with it lol so over it and pissed off like them in the first one ahahah
RIP Fred, what a performance together with Bacon
1:14 i got a god damn plan!!!
Me: 😂😂😂😂😂😂
looks like a sweet potato busting open when it goes off the cliff and hits a rock.lol
Lol thanks for ruining sweet potatoes for me.
"Them!" was made in 1954. The giant ants in that film, and the "graboids" in this film, are on exactly the same level of special-effects development.
U have got too be kidding ,look up 1950's movies ,omg!
I have seen this on spongebob episode big alaskan worm
I have the VHS cassette, kevin says "Can you fly you son of a bitch".
I love the intro song 😂
Graboid crossed the event horizon. Christ, beautiful movie.
Val: So what if we make it to the rocks, we'll be dead in three days anyway.
Earl: Well I want to live for the three days!
😂😂😂
That was a great line just like Smile You Son of a Bitch! from Jaws! Both great movies 🍿!
Kevin Bacon: Can you fly you sucker!?! CAN YOU FLY!?!
Graboid: DAAAAAAAH!!!! JEEZ THIS MAKES ME WISH I COULD JUST SWITCH TO A FLYING FIRE FARTING VERSION OF MYSE-SPLAT!!!!!!
2:09 Way to go Val! 2:21 It’s over!
Yippie kay yay
Has anyone notice, at about 1:10 when he started running, the ground does not very solid.
Those movements and animatronics need area to work, after all.
*"CAN U FLY YA SUCKA?"*
2:09
Yeah.
Love tht ending
you know I just realized what the plan was. Throwing the bomb too far was intended in order to make the graboid dig faster, ergo, he oléd the bastard lol
The movie starts with him asking how many cows you need for stampede.
@@natewilson6760 don't look for reason in fiction movie.
@@natewilson6760 at least post it as a separate comment then, and not a reply!
By the way z this is not normal behaviour. Movies are like an escape from reality so no point in finding logic in it!
For that reason, we have documentaries and biopics.
@@natewilson6760 you must be fun at parties!
I always assumed that the bomb was also meant to disorient it's senses, so it couldn't brake when it was supposed to.
Fatality
HAHA THE monster looks how a caigua peruvian vegetable

Ikutkan cerita ulat tanah itu jatuh dan mati kerana hancur kan?..next
Horrible plan, but got bailed out by the dumb worm.
Seriously though, why run even further from the rocks to the very edge, just to throw the bomb toward the worm in order to scare it away and then half to run all the way back to the rocks lol.
I've always wondered that.
The plan was to disorient the worms senses(obviously it uses very very sensitive audio and vibration senses) so it killed itself.
That is what Bert and Ronda were telling him to do, but he literally says “so what if we make it to the rock’s we’ll be dead in 3 days” and chose to use the last weapon they had to defeat the final Graboid. Earlier in the movie they showed the Graboid kill itself, its the 1st of 4 that is killed. Val figured out thinking on his feet how to win in what seemed like an unwinnable situation.
Well for one the bomb wasn't meant to kill the Graboid, it was meant to disorient its senses which I guess scares it forward toward Val and then Val stood at the edge of the cliff and tricked it into flying down to rock heaven
dude you missed out on the whole point of this scene. He knew the gorge was there and he planned to make it break through the wall to its death. he used the bomb to confuse its senses so it would jump through.
You do not have the complete film on here. Just saying.
Why is Kevin bacon staring!?
He wants to keep his eyes on the graboid to make sure his plan worked. If the graboid suddenly diverted from the path, he would have to think of something else on his feet. Once he realized his plan was going to work is when he finally got out of the way.
@@barrygriffith7570 read the description! It says staring Kevin bacon.
What are these things anyway? Ive only seen the first movie and I heard that these worms go as far back as the wild west days.. Are they prehistoric creatures?
They're pre-cambrian life forms, meaning they are over several billion years old. And yeah, you should really see second film as well, all the others are not really good
They’re worms bro. They everywhere
Walter chang called them graboids

This movie was so bad, it was great......lol!
It was a great adventure movie. No CGI shit, real props and great cast.
It's nowhere near being bad. It's a perfect horror comedy.
Wither Deadzipper:
No. The perfect horror comedy is 99 Mummy
This is a close second.

No, this movie is as good as monster movies can get.
It’s not so bad it’s good! It’s a good clever horror comedy that happens to be good.
