I was genuinely scared of them as a kid, but couldn't stop watching it any time it came on the Syfy channel. Timeless classic.
I loved the way the worms were designed in this movie, it made them seem like something very real :D

This movie is an absolute classics, and all 3 of the direct-to-video sequels are excellent as well. The tv series is pretty good too, But nothing beats the original.

A Masterpiece of suspense!
back in 2002/maybe 2003 i watched this film on a projector screen in a classroom at night at university in beijing. the uni students would play movies at night from VCD players. VCD's were usually low quality, boot-legged copies if the movie was new, otherwise they were copied from old DVD's. seeing as this movie was old, the quality was pretty good. in the classroom, each of the desks were divided by a board and we all had our own headphones. we ate sunflower seeds. a pile of sunflower seed shells gathered on the desk. i was thirteen years old; i was a westener from australia living on the campus. this movie scared the heck out of me but it was amazing.
I was absolutely TERRIFIED of this movie. I watched it with my cousins when I was 5 or 6. My mom was furious when she found out because I had nightmares every night and she had to sleep in my room. It was really bad.
And now I'm watching the trailer and...🤣😭🤣😭🤣😭 A child mind is so pure.
This one and "predator" was my most beloved horror movies when i was a kid ❤

Kevin Bacon is the best actor in the first Tremors but Burt Gummer is the best character in the Tremors franchise.

This is the last (that i know of) of the movies that spawned into a franchise including a TV series. From Dusk Till Dawn did it and there’s nothing better for a fan than having numerous sequels that keep helping your fandom live on

smorkish borg? man 90s comedy was different, i was even born in the 90s but damn near close, i miss trailers like this, really classic and enjoyed the narrators voice being spooky or mysterious, optimistic. it was a fun time for movies
this was the best monster movie series, watched this since I was like 1 year old with my grandpa. I dont like the trailer but the movies are so danm good

Well Fred Ward was probably best known for this but he had an impressive body of work and now Fred has crossed over . Oh yes this was a good Sci-fi horror film sort of a throwback to all those 50s and 60s Classics that I watched on TV on Saturday afternoon when I was a preteen .
It's not underrated. It's not the greatest movie ever, but it still isn't underrated (it's not even THAT good, come on).
