The card Leodrake's Mane makes one Naturia monster's ATK 3000 by negating its effects. It's just the beater of the archetype, nothing more. It's actually pretty cool all the synchro monsters have a spell card to give their effects to another Naturia monster
He said that Thought Ruler and Magical Android were released before Red Dragon Archfiend yet they were all in the same set with Red Dragon getting the Ultra Rare and Ultimate Rare treatment
After rewatching this, I’d love to see later Penguin support cards built around Penguin Brave-give each Penguin party member its own card, and have their artwork reference other features of JRPGs like changing job classes, accepting quests, and collecting loot. I’d pay serious money for that.
I think you mean in Ultimaya Tzolkin's case: it was used to summon Duel Dragons, which is what the manga alternate twins of the Signer Dragons were officially called: Duel Dragons. Apart from that, I really loved these Level 0 synchro's because of how unique they were, and that the second one with the much harder summoning conditions was an evolved form the The Crimson Dragon's twin.
You gotta have context for the weird non effect synchro monsters including the Naturia one: Konami likes to print basic or non effect monsters for a lot of the new summoning mechanic cards before getting into crazy stuff. They did it with XYZ and links as well. Also that Naturia card was printed before the others were.
Don't sleep on Psychics. With as fast as the game has gotten, extra life points can be the difference from getting OTK'd. I do wish more spell/trap cards that supported Psychics would be created and released. There's hardly anything. Psychics are powerful but they don't have the support they need.
I greatly ENJOY that you're YuGioOh videos talk about the card game competively and in the Metagame sense and ALSO the casual playing too so that you can anylze and over anaylze cards on an everyman perspective.
I will say in regards to Lightning Tricorn, it does only have 3 horns, as horns - by definition - are located on the head of a creature. So it's just a spiky boi with three horns.
I love the Ursarctic's gimmick. Very reminiscent of the Dark Synchro Monsters used by the Dark Signers in 5Ds, and their arc is my favorite in Yu-Gi-Oh.
The Penguin Brave and Penguin Archtype in general reminds me of the "Goblin" archetype. Except the goblin archetype still really needs a "boss monster". Also, I think Scrounging Goblin is the only card that treats them as an archetype. A lot of them have similar effects like the flip effect Penguins, but yeah really only one card linking them together, and yet I still felt the need to make a goblin deck for novelty.
7:25 pretty sure it's just a reference to son wukong the ape King from Chinese Folklore, which is what some of his design aspects, especially that iconic golden headband, are based on!
from what I can tell every single yugioh manga comes out after its respective anime or is written convergently with the series such that the story has some similar characters and story beats but always ends up going in a totally different direction. I've been thinking of checking out the arc v manga after I was especially dissatisfied with the anime.
Effectless Synchros might feel pointless but they're still good since they don't need to be drawn first. You just get a decently strong card out of your extra deck, which is neat ☺️
I've actually always found the "beatstick" options in archetypes to be pretty cool when you don't know which way to go, even for Invoked Magellanica. I was a little too harsh on Leodrake here, but I'll go easier on the effectless Xyz monsters when I cover their weirdest cards.

My most favorite Synchro, which is also pretty weird in a cool way, is The Fabled Unicore. It can negate almost anything your opponent activates as long as both you and your opponent have the exact same amount of cards in hand. I cannot think of another card with that requirement, and the fact that it's a continuous negation effect makes for some really funny scenarios.

I'm kind of disappointed that you didn't include infernaty doom dragon. there is one monster where it effect is whenever it destroy a monster by battle it gain level equal to level of the destroyed monster and gain attk (don't remember how much) for each level. if anyone know the name of the monster pls let me know
One comment about the Mighty Warrior card. In the manga, Yusei uses a Junk Warrior archetype before he got Stardust Spark Dragon. And no, I'm not talking about the Junk Warrior card. His deck is literally based on cards that have junk in their name like Junk Blader with his synchros monster being mostly warriors with his ace being Lightning Warrior. Mighty Warrior and Scarred Warrior are usually his main synchros if he can't go into Lightning. There's also Gravity Warrior which is more of a robotic lion instead of a warrior, but that's Konami for you
Top 10 waifu archetypes Also now that I think about it she's right, Lightning Unicorn definitely looks like Phoenix Ikki from Saint Seiya cuz of the blue hair. The gold color still works because he still does end up inheriting the Leo Gold Cloth lol
I have those cards, but sadly they where abused by my little brother and made it look like they were no value just to be thrown away by a mindless baby
In regards to the above level 12, you do realize that there are cards that can raise their levels above 12? The fortune ladies archetype is a definite for that. My personal favorite Greed Quasar
F.A. Motorhome was the first card to acknowledge level 13 on the text, which is what got it on the list, but yes, you are correct that other monsters can raise levels indefinitely. I showed some of them in entry like Uni-Zombie, but I realize my wording may have made it sound like I was saying Motorhome was the first that did this. Greed Quasar's a cool one. Good to see it getting some love!
Fortune Ladies can raise their level to more than 12 but that silly paratheses mentioned it is max 12 and the way to alleviate it more than it should be is using Time Passage quick spell
Scrap Archfiend and this Gaia Synchro were released at the beginning of Synchro. At this time, both were powerful because they were easily summonable Beatsticks. Back in the days, this was enough to be strong but they got power-creeped after a couple of other Synchro Monsters releases.
Greed Quasar is a monster i used to use back in the day...it can reach infinite levels as well, I'm surprised you didnt mention it, since that's just how it fights.
MIghty warrior's so different because it actually came out during the Zexal era and it was a part of Yusei's manga deck, which had more of a generic warrior theme with all generic warrior synchros.
Oh Apeking as well as his desighn is derived from Sun Wukong from Jurney To The West. The Dragonball charakter Son Goku was named after him that is also where the Ape/monkey stuff comes from in Dragonball. Anyways Son Wukong was a powerfull Demon called The Monkey King given that he was sort of indestructable and super strong since he even went up to the palace of the gods fought them and made a ruckus so that they could not defeat him but had to trap him.....This is way to long of an explanation.....anyway he also lived in a land full of monkeys and was theyr King appart from being a monkey himself and considered also the Demon King for his strenght knew no match. That ring/crown he wars on his head is typical for the depiction of Sun Wu Kong. How can you have so many anime renkings but not know this?
The fact the level raising card though that sets a president for tournaments on other lvl raising cards because he specifically mentions leveling beyond any printable levels any card that comes out with any effect that repeats on level up or a certain number of level ups might of been capped out at 12 due a judges ruling and worse it may have been inconsistent from tournament to tournament or even between judges at the same tournament but now if it happens to come up you can point to this card as proof that Konami intended for you to break level cap so your effect loop is fair game till it gets put on the ban list
What's next? Top 10 Weirdest Xyz Monsters? Or Top 10 Yu-Gi-Oh Monsters with Weird Types? If it's the latter, then I recommend the trio of Oppressed People, People Running About and United Resistance as the Number 1 Entry.
He was like Flame Wingman in GX after Neos showed up, where he appeared a lot early on, but as the series went on, Yusei was more into his other Synchro Warriors, or just Stardust Dragon
Hey Konami; can we please get a Yu-Gi-Oh spin-off anime where we just go through all of the lore you've built up over the years for all these monsters and archetypes?! Seriously; I'd watch that shit in a heartbeat!

@@dragonlord3376 still feels bad because he looks so bad compared to his arcatype
And a exposed brain as well.
there is one monster where it effect is whenever it destroy a monster by battle it gain level equal to level of the destroyed monster and gain attk (don't remember how much) for each level. if anyone know the name of the monster pls let me know
Greed Quasar
the Ursarctics are just Polar Bear Gundams, and that's awesome.
“Just”. They’re the only reason I’m thinking about getting back into the game.
"Putting stars over there. What a concept"
Xyz-monsters be like: "Are we a joke to you?"
Judgement Meter is adorable
One comment about the Mighty Warrior card. In the manga, Yusei uses a Junk Warrior archetype before he got Stardust Spark Dragon. And no, I'm not talking about the Junk Warrior card. His deck is literally based on cards that have junk in their name like Junk Blader with his synchros monster being mostly warriors with his ace being Lightning Warrior. Mighty Warrior and Scarred Warrior are usually his main synchros if he can't go into Lightning. There's also Gravity Warrior which is more of a robotic lion instead of a warrior, but that's Konami for you
HTC psyhemuth is an amazing synchro monster
So sweet how she defended the Naturia lion :)
Top ten weirdest yu gi oh pendulum monster
Top 10 waifu archetypes
Also now that I think about it she's right, Lightning Unicorn definitely looks like Phoenix Ikki from Saint Seiya cuz of the blue hair. The gold color still works because he still does end up inheriting the Leo Gold Cloth lol
I have those cards, but sadly they where abused by my little brother and made it look like they were no value just to be thrown away by a mindless baby
SYNCHRO WHAT!?
one other odd Synchro is courol dragon, being a sea dragon that has real corol on it and fins but being a dragon type
Happy belated birthday, Judgement Meter!
Thanks!
@@JudgmentMeter you're welcome!
Fortune Ladies can raise their level to more than 12 but that silly paratheses mentioned it is max 12 and the way to alleviate it more than it should be is using Time Passage quick spell
meanwhile in duel links.... Cupid Dunk and No.70 Malevolent Sin can raise above lvl12 lol
Kinda dissapointed i didnt hear a single "seaman" joke with Zeman the Ape King. Banger video tho, subscribed
Synchros that require Synchros and Synchro Tuners to Synchro into the Synchro.
Synchro
Psyhemuth is so cool!
You missed my favourite synchro monster... Graydle dragon who's basically a dragon merged from an alligator, snake, eagle and finally SLIME
Pyro, Aqua and Thunder, if I remember correctly
@@KinjiroTheThunder Yep. Oppressed People is Aqua, People Running About is Pyro and United Resistance is Thunder.
I have never seen junk warrior in any of the episodes of 5Ds I saw
He was like Flame Wingman in GX after Neos showed up, where he appeared a lot early on, but as the series went on, Yusei was more into his other Synchro Warriors, or just Stardust Dragon
@@MrTopTenList I only saw a few episodes of 5Ds and the last episode I saw Yusei was in jail.
You lot are unbelievably incorrect about Lightning Tricorn; it does, in fact, only have three horns. The spikes on its legs are not horns.
It was just a joke about how the spikes look like its horns
@@MrTopTenList then clearly you all missed the comedic timing to pull it off.
I respect your straightforwardness. Thank you.
im preatty sure horns must be in the head to count as horns, right? the rest are just blades
Very entertaining list thats why i never can get enough from it !!!!
What character is Judgement Meter’s from, I saw it from somewhere but I can’t remember the name
Hey Konami; can we please get a Yu-Gi-Oh spin-off anime where we just go through all of the lore you've built up over the years for all these monsters and archetypes?! Seriously; I'd watch that shit in a heartbeat!
Lol Judgement Meter is just like me I need more plushies. Love your videos even though I'm not into Yugioh that's more my husband's thing.
Hello, What if you did "What if Mr Top Ten List was a fighting game".?
We need Movesets for the following people:
MrTopTenList
Momma Top Ten
Judgment Meter
NegetiveX
Emily P
Michelle B
Doug H.
A.T. Gonzalez
Sam Gonzalez
Monitor
DJ Weird Sister
Corigan
Professor Oats
I was never a huge fan of the Synchro monsters... with that said, Black Rose Dragon is awesome!
😍👌
25:06 oh hai Perfect Dark Gaia
I think HTS psyhemuth is pronounced sai-he-muth, almost like a portmanteau of psychic and behemoth
Edit: nvm i rushed to answer without seeing it through
That was actually a pretty decent 4Kids name.
25:25 It's called good old anime bullshit.
Agreed XD
Judgement meter "I'm gonna be confused for most of the video"
Isn't that just a normal video? Love ya meter
Is phantasmal lord ultimitl bashbaalkin technically a level 16 or higher monster since u send two level 8 or higher monsters to the graveyard to summon him
That penguin card looks like a reference to Dragon Quest! How cute
Mrtoptenlist...... I wish you *You would understand* byt now: i WON'T USWE THE 4 kIDS NAME..S.... OKAY? OTherwiser, I enjoined yours contents. OkAY? IT'S FUN AND i WATCHED IT WHILE i WAS EATING MY BREAKFAST: TOAdsT WITH raSBERRy JAM AND chunky PEANUTT BUTTER.... basically a godforsaken Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwhitch A FEWQ DAYS Ago I just forgot to comment. BUT OTHERWISE... I enjoyed the video and it was something to eat too.
Because when you use the DUB names it make you and Judgmement Meter Look like a bunch of Normies who only watch their anime on Toonami.....which is a [riflemen problem for the longeivity of the medium.
Basically... don't watch or supprort the dubs...
i was gonna say with the bear its possible to get a level 1 synchro with fortune lady dark since she can reduce the level of a monster to 0
Wait, so in the manga, they gave a Yusei a synchro that is just Junk Warrior equipped with Junk Barrage, except without Junk Warrior's effect...
Neat.
How about how armory arm is literally just an arm. Like an extra deck unionmonster
Before Motorhome Transport there was Greed Quasar. If it destroys a monster by battle then it's level is increased by the level of the destroyed monster. The max level it can get is not limited.
I do love psychic life trancer and magical android I love both their aesthetics mixing mysticism and technology is a lot more enjoyable than the pure tech characters we get in other psychic cards
Dark tooning is such a no brainer. I can't believe it took so long.
Oh shit, a fortune fairy dark tooner is so smart!
That stars on Bibaskin eyes kill me

HTSL-Psihemoth in german
Who was used for judgement's avatar?? I need to know for a college paper im doing
DeeDee from Ballmastrz 9009
@@MrTopTenList nyesss
So to summon Bishbaalkin you need to special summon it with level 8 monsters. So to summon those level 8 monsters you need monster to tribute on your field or use Monster reborn. So they ask a lot to use this card
