Wow good job Magura! Finally a worthy upgrade from my MT7's that I've been rocking for the past 4 years.
This may be one sick break kit from Magure if they took into consideration downsides of MTs. Yet sheer more power than MT7s would be sick alone, nice touch with bringing the Gustav back, people remember :D
Btw, 15cm they say its ok average. Here you got 20 anyways :-)
At last someone at magura thought that putting only a bleed port without any valve is dumb

Nein, wir bieten die GUSTAV PRO nicht mit derartigen Optionen für mehrspurige Fahrzeuge. Sorry
Considering the size of the pistons, the master cilinder is bigger aswell => you might be able to use it for 2 mt5 (or anything with mineral oil) calipers with a split hose. Take into consideration that you'll 100% lose your warrany tho

yes. you can still use 2.0 MDR-P rotors or also the new 2.5 mm thick MDR-S. Your choice :)

Can you change or remove the yellow rings on the breaks?
Yes. You can remove them.
When will they be available?
As a single aftermarket product in Q4 for this year and on bikes probably a bit earlier.

Hi, are the levers cross compatible with the mt7? I have alloy levers for my mt7’s and id love to put them on a set of these
The pistons are different size, so likely not. Will have different oil displacement values for the master cylinder
All brakes that work with mineral oil are compatible, but:
1. New bigger lever cilinder -> a more on/off feel
2. New bigger pistons -> more modulation (and sometimes too much).
Basic fluid mechanics, there are a lot of videos here on yt with people showing this with clear seringes :)
Sorry I should have been clearer, I don't mean changing out the whole master cylinder.. just the actual lever itself.. I have oak component levers on my mt7's and they are feel so nice.. also very bling😅

I gotta say the biggest markting joke is 2-2.3mm rotors. All these big brands charging over $100 for a rotor due to a minute increase in thickness.
Meanwhile there are tektro 2.3mm rotors going for $30. Mates rocking nearly $250 worth of halfer rotors and the quality is no better than the tektro 2.3s on my bike.
As someone that is a machinist, the idea that an increase of 0.2mm equates to a multiple hundred percent increase in price is a joke and everyone laps it up.

Well I have mt5 on one of my bikes running for about 8 years or so and mt7 for five years on the other. No problems at all, so far.
How much?
399$ one set not including rotor. Probably 1k for the whole set.
You can spend 5 minutes on the interweb and clearly see no one likes the weak levers yet here we are again!
also : special thanks to the weak ass plastic bleed screw that is designed to strip

Hoffe die ist besser als die MT5.Die ist nämlich nichts wert und kann mal gar nichts.Hätte ich das zuvor gewußt wäre es eine andere Marke geworden.
