This guy's videos are always very good in quality and he deserves more subs. Now only if he could make a vault tour or maybe start up a let's play.
no but seriously, a vault tour would be nice. I'm very happy at how organized my vault is and i have 9 storage rooms (three 1x2 and six 1x3) that are fully upgraded. which comes out to 925 max storage, yet i see this guy with literally hundreds of wasteland junk and i wonder what he did to get so much storage.

Now all we need is an endgame cap sink for players that hit the million cap limit.
I know right. I can use my save editor to reach the readable maximum of "1,000,000,000!" The game doesn't increase cap amount earned beyond "999,999" though so whatever. It's weird because in 3 and NV the Pib-Boy reads a cap amount beyond "1,000,000" as "1,000,000+" and it keeps increasing well into the billionth mark and you can see the exact amount while in containers.
Pretty dumb design choice since in Shelter a maxed out vault can get you thousands of caps in the span of minutes. But there is a mod that allows to hack the game in diverse ways like removing the cap limit and the ability to edit pet bonuses of individual pets. Even on Android devices which is what I'm on. No idea if it works on IOS though...

Sponsorship and patronage of Wasteland communities(ie simply buying new repeatable quest with certain parameters you would like with huge summs)?
Having something to "spend" your maxed out super Dwellers on would have also been usefull. In the end you have 200 characters who're capable of being protagonist or boss of a major title with such stats and they just sit there, being an achievement on their own, but stopping you from training new dwellers ever again. Plus we still have no "kind" version to send them out forever instead of just throwing our Dwellers out and no way to get good specific pets => so maybe an option to send such dwellers out to "resettle" surface and them sending out something to us as a final gift would have been good? For future ranchers and hunters event text will state that they've sent us out some random guard dogs of theirs and skins they've collected as crafting materials and so on?
Even in my 27 dwellers survival mode vault I have somewhat around 300k caps. I don't need them by now.
And yes, I will need them when I have more dwellers, but I am slowly progressing the numbers to keep my vault stable. So my caps are piling up.
Pressing X I beat a quest and got the Wazer wifle from it. But the I don't have the gun.
it's only a soft cap though, lunch boxes caps can push you above the 999,999 cap limit :D

I don't know if this feature have changed have since for short does it break when you speed up time by using that sheet by resetting your clock ?

Evry time i reach a dwellers carry cap i lose many items on return about 10 a bug maby ? Bc lot times the end after i visit a location
What other methods do you use for earning caps? Ex: Room Rushing, resource room cap optimization....

Wish we could get a "Sell Half" button instead of just a "Sell All" in junk.
Questing! Specially "answer or die" quest, have huge amount of caps. I use tree teams if there are enough mission avaiable. If you play regullary (every day) then one team is more then enough. The important thing is that if you go more then 999.999 caps then you receive no more. Am I right? or I have not pay enough attention?
999.999 is more or less the limit. When you get caps from a lunch box you can reach some more. You could edit the game, but why?
I usually send my best dwellers out to wasteland and they make like 10k each. Maybe when people make the cap(pun) they should be granted a perk like more happiness or better exploration loot. Maybe similar to the pets.
What they need to do is add a black market where you can buy any item in the game at ridiculous prices like hundreds of thousands of caps for a legendary weapon and such as opposed to paying a fraction of that by gathering the components and building it.

Does power armor protect character more than normal armor?
Depends which power armor you're using. Ones with endurance will reduce radiation damage while you're exploring the wastelands. A total of 11 endurance will make you immune to rad damage! :)

Maximum special stat is 10 if you wear any outfit for example formal wear +7 you will still have only 10 not 17

You need to do a Vault tour of your personal main save file. I'm curious as to what layout you use. Also, you use a save editor for your videos don't you. If not damn man, you have the patience of a rock.
I've been tempted to use a save file editor. I've avoided it because I want to experience the game in a way that the majority of the audience will be. Bypassing the the game's mechanics with an editor would probably change how I view and explain certain topics in the game. Is there a specific editor that you would recommend? I would be interested in making a video on save editors sometime. :)
Pressing X There is a very rudimentary one available in Google Play called "Pimp My Vault" but it is excruciatingly limited in what it can accomplish. I use one I downloaded here (www.se7ensins.com/forums/threads/wip-fallout-shelter-save-editor-app-for-android-no-file-copying-encrypting-decrypting.1380195/) and there is literally nothing it can't do. And when I say nothing I mean NOTHING.
The reason I was forced to use it is because I play Shelter as the continuation to my Fallout 3 headcanon but before New Vegas and had to recreate my character, get Dogmeat, dress him, stats and all that jazz. I also don't like the idea of having a vault full of random Yahoos managing my reactor so I had to painstakingly create a whole BOS chapter to ally with my character and they're the ones that handle the delicate things in the vault while the Yahoos and walk-ins manage the storerooms.
I'm not your typical Shelter player.

you forgott about mysterious stranger. Really, i just wait in my vault 1 hour and get from 200 caps to around 4k caps in just one click by this guy. If I hear his sound, i just start looking from up to down in max zoom and in 90% chance i found him and just click.
You can easy get him when your vault is small but my vault has over 50 rooms and 200 dwellers that look like him

Every time I check a day later there dead
Sent my dweller out that had max special and health. Came back 3 days and 10 hours later and saw that the dweller had accumulated 101,178 caps
no way dats impossible
let's run the numbers. Max caps available per cap event: 17*8 so 136
3 days and 10 hours in a total of 82 hours with is 328 cap events. 328*136: around 40k

Easiest way is just have the vault running with handys collecting resources. By the time I wake up in the morning I have hundreds of thousands of new caps. I cant use them all. I was only a few days in, never bought handys and had max caps.
