Albury is my home town! So cool seeing you guys there! You have inspired my partner and I to buy a troopy and travel Australia. We head off in January!
Would love to see daily vlogs for a week or so! Sailing La Vagabonde just did one recently and it was so good. I'm about to start full time vanlife in the new year so watching the real stuff is super appealing. Loved the vid guys. Been awesome watching your adventures over the last few years. Very inspiring!
@@JackandMeganVlogs It's amazing how much work goes into making youtube videos! We all very much appreciate your efforts. Loving the new Vlog channel btw.
I say no, to vlogmas, I love and appreciate the quality of your content, I hate shorts with a passion and I beleive you should stick true to yourself rather than been orchestrated by the algorithm!
I absolutely love you guys! I'm traveling solo in my coaster and watching you guys makes me feel like I have friends on the road 😊❤ you're so my kind of people. You guys make me laugh so much ❤🎉
Hey guys, went past you on Wednesday was going to stop and have a chat but nowhere to turn around so just kept going to the next camping area. Hopefully you enjoyed it and had a great catch up with Holly and Matt. Cheers John and Jannice from @talkaboutadventures
Absolutely loving this other channel, you guys work so hard, can honestly say I jump at any new video I see of yours! Currently travelling Aus in a rooftop tent and canopy, your caravan gives me the cosy vibes I'm missing 🥰
Love you guys and the adventures you have. Just a little side note, don't worry about what people think when you are taking photos or vloging. The less you care the more you will enjoy the moment and the fun that you will have. Beautiful, keep up the Aussie chill and be yourself 😊❤
I just want to say thankyou for sharing this. I’m about to open a business again after 4.5 years of walking away from it. I was always told to start doing RUclips videos for it but didn’t fully understand how it all worked. Now that I’ve had 4.5 years out I will absolutely start doing them. So thankyou for sharing the information about pricing accordingly during the x months. This information is not shared and quite frankly it’s pivotal to making sure to understand your own value. Again I can’t say it enough thankyou for your rawness x
I’d watch you everyday😁👍 and your photos are fantastic. Every state has a slightly different aussie accent. When i lived in London i could tell where each Aussie came from. Love watching you guys you make me smile 😁😁😁👍
Hi Jack and Megan hope all is going well for you guys ? We just received your stickers and we love them, If your ever in young n.s.w. and need a place to set up camp you are welcome take care travel safe
Another fascinating vlog . I was in that area ( tallangatta ) 2 weeks ago and it,s such a chill place to be . Got my stickers , will send a pic when i finally think of a place to literally stick Merv :) Cheers guys .
Absolutely love watching your vids guys. Always so much energy and passion. Just one thing.... Megan, have you ever seen Jack without a hat on?? I couldn't tell you how many episodes I've watched, but I have never seen Jack without his hat on. Time to own it Jack. Take that hat off every now and then...I promise, everyone will still love your look young man.🙂
I have no hair… and prefer wearing my hat and beanie. It makes me feel happy and confident. I take my hat off when I’m alone with Megan all the time. I’m so used to it now it’s just normal for me. Yes I have some issues with my balding hair but hey don’t we all have issues 🙏
@@JackandMeganVlogs We all do have issues for sure. Perfect response from one of the most open, honest and generally nicest blokes on youtube. Cheers for the reply.

Just hearing Megan talk about needing a shower, how do you feel now about Myrtle's bathroom build? Do you ever consider or think about the difference of tackling the challenge of the bathroom verses a bathroomless Myrtle while out and about? I get that you did 2.5 laps of Australia in a Troopy without a Bathroom, however I am interested to hear your thoughts after a couple of months on the road with Myrtle?
In our home state of Western Australia. A Port is a drink. In Queensland a Port is a School Bag. Because when l visited my cousin years ago. She kept saying to her kids. Did you put your lunch in your port?
Gr8 work guys... love them photo props... and what beautiful country down that way... I'm a Qlder bur Kiwi born so I'd hate to know what accent I have... I can't tell the difference guys... you sound Australian to me ... thanks heaps for sharing... now I'm getting back into my 1975 Viscount van in private... no youtube work here... lol...
Nice video guys. Love following your adventures. You mentioned a mattress topper that was " so good" .. then nothing else about it .. can you please give some more details??
Before you mentioned the accent I was already trying to pick it. I thought a slight South African input, probably no surprise given the number of SA ex pats in WA 😂 It's only on occasional words, not right through your speak. Hence hard to pick! I'm from Sydney.
Good morning to you both, I just tried to go to the website for the coffee shop you wre talking about from the York peninsula. You mentioned to use Jack and Megan but it didn't seem to work. Are you able to clarify the details please?
Hey mate I just did a dummy order on the website and it worked make sure your typing in jackandmegan all as one work no spaces and the purchase needs to be over $30 to get 15% of. Let me know how you go 🙏
I'm a Brit living in Queensland, so to my ears you guys sound less Australian, probably cos of more Brits migrating to Perth or Adelaide than over here and collectively diluting the Australian-ness of the local dialect. I can certainly hear Melbourne vs. Sydney, and Brisbane vs. (say) Rockhampton, so as I have been asked many times, there are a number of regional variations in the overall Australian accent. Mind you, as a Londoner, 'Little Australia' aka Shepherd's Bush with every other person you talk to being an Aussie, I couldn't pick up any differences, but i must say some guys I couldn't understand at all...
Overland travellers definitely do some amazing videography, but I would say are equally as good as them. I feel these days you don't lean into your skills as much as you did in your early days. But yeah don't sell your selfs short 🙂
WA and SA have a more clean sound to their speech. I attribute it to being settled by free settlers who could afford to pay for passage whereas the eastern states began as a penal colony and most criminals were from a poorer classe that were usually less educated. This meant that their dialect was rougher. Hence the different dialects.
@Always_Sunday_yt is it such a stretch for you to understand that middle and upper class English, who had sustainable decent income and a better opportunity at education would speak with a cleaner British pronunciation compared to those of the lower class who were less likely to have a proper education and therefore speak with a more bastardised vocabulary and due to less income make the decision to turn to crime. In turn this led to over population of English prisons which led the government to send them here. By this point, their speak would develop differently to the speech of the middle and upper classes who paid to come here and settle? Following that there is then the multicultural influence that developed as more nationalities entered Australia. The baseline doesn't change though. If Perth or Adelaide was used as the penal colony then it would be us who spoke in the way Easterners currently do. There are, of course, other cultural factors since colonisation that have also influenced regional dialects.
@ sorry I shouldn’t have objected so harshly, I agree with the fact it’s a stretch your hypothesis especially when you hear people from Perth and by extension WA’s accent. Far from concise English. I’m definitely no historian, that said there is definitely a defined accent from State to State and after travelling around this country I would disagree and WA speech is better than other states. In fact I would put NSW’s speech ahead of the country.
Australia is the only continent in the world that every single state can understand the rest. When you start the bullshit of different accents think about America and England. Australia is the only place on the earth where we all speak and understand the same language. Yes my cousins in Mackay might have a more country sound to what they say but we all understand each other
