We need this type of show in the quilting world! Lisa has alot of GREAT ideas& will bring great energy & fantastic teaching skills to the world of quilting, sewing, embroidery!
Thank you!!!
I found this video to be very enjoyable to listen to and watch. Annie McHug, presented her ruler/templates in a contempt, easy to understand manner. She also presented excellent quilts to show how they can be used in many different and unique ways. I would have liked knowing the cost of them, even if the cost had only been presented written on a piece of paper at the end of her demonstrations. I found that I didn't know anything about needles, and even less about rulers. The show was fun, informative, efficient, and well done. I hope you will continue to share your knowledge, love, and wisdom of the science and art of everything related to sewing. Thank you.
What a fabulous show!! Informative and full of great ideas. Thank you!
Learned so much! Great demonstration from Annie McHugs Jerrianne Massey demonstrating her dresden tool. She's an "about kind of girl" like me. :) Quilters are smart, as evidenced by the advanced science demonstrated in this show. Loved the snow flakes, too. I'm impressed!
Just discovered you. Boy have I learned alot just in 2 of your videos. I have been quilting since the 1970's and learned things that were never explained/taught to me. Plus you made me fall in love with my Bernina 770QE which I was planning on selling this week. Until I saw your show, I found my machine overwhelming. Thank you and keep up the good work!!!
Thank you! And the 770 is a FABULOUS machine!
Wonderful video. So glad I discovered it. The three sections of the show were so informative. Thank you!
A wonderful video. Thank you both for this great video.
Lots of great information, great show!
I learned something new today about needles, Thank you Lisa!! I didn't know about the quilting needles having different numbers and why!! I will pass this video on to the guild newsletter for our members to watch and learn!!
Wonderful presentation. You are such an inspiration and have such good energy!
Wow! I enjoyed all of the content. I have been watching videos for the purpose of learning something new, improving my skills and virtual relaxation. The video gave me what I have been looking for. Also professionally done. Not everyone is meant to create videos, they ramble talk too fast and important points are lost. Thank you.
I love the new format! So much info and fun to watch. ❤️
Thank you for sharing your expertise. Well done!
The perfect guest for your first show, Lisa! Love it!!
Loved your tip for today. It really addressed a big problem I have. I’ve tried everything except Quilters Select.
Absolutely loved this show! Oh how I wish it was ON PBS!
First of all this was very informative! Love the giant needle. Second the new format is wonderful. This reminds me of PBS show of the past, example AA shows or F & P. Excellent way to learn. Bravo. Hope you still show how to use the rulers in quilting.
This was excellent, can’t wait for the next class. I only wish we could buy a cd that would explain the entire Bernina 790 machine as well as you do, a wealth of information and you are so pleasant. Thank you Pat. I live in the Adirondacks in upstate NY, so far from everyone and this is a tremendous help.
Learned a lot! Thanx!
Loved this--I hope it gets picked up!
Great job, really enjoyed.
Great show! I didn’t know about the difference with needles, thank you.
Thank you!
Great program. Please make a printable chart for needle usage. It was so much information
PBS would benefit greatly with this show....
Thank you!!!
I stopped in at your Manitowoc store and the clerk said they are holding a class on the paper-pieced quilt behind you… when is it going to be and how do I sign up??? absolutely love it!!!
We have Jacqueline de Jonge coming to teach in June! You can sign up at www.quiltinginthevalley.com, click on classes and travel, and then the Jacqueline de Jonge class!
Great videos! Do u like and recommend the cutting mat made by Quilters Select?
Thank you!! We really like the Martelli mats for longevity and price!
Wow very well done. I do like your own videos too.
Like the rulers for Dresden plate quilts
Lisa's personality is great for television
Thank you!
Wonderful job Lisa!! I learned something new about needles! You do a great job on your videos. I enjoyed your guest and learning how to use her template. Can’t wait for your next video! 😁
The best thing you took the time to really let the guest show how her template, worked, the same with the rest of the show. To many rush everything , Quilting Arts is a good example of what not to do.
Lisa, were we in the same Home Ec class? I also made a gingham apron! ;-). I do have a question regarding needles. How do you store your used (but not overused) needles, so that you know which type and size it is for the future? Thanks for a great show!
You can keep them in a felt square, and use a black marker to mark sizes. Then stick the needle in the place marked with the size it is!
Thank you!
So glad I caught your first episode soon after you launched! Great ideas for the show, and I am looking forward to upcoming episodes! How often will they air?
Great job👍I’m so hoping it gets picked up by PBS. It was a very professional presentation and I’ve watched my share of many quilting/sewing shows. You look so relaxed on camera. Congrats!
Thank you!!!!
Great show! HINT: for those with the Omnigrid rulers, try putting some medical tape on the back. That has really helped me with my older rulers.
Nice!
😍
AWESOME SAUCE!
I made my apron in 6th grade because we had “shop classes” in 7th grade. Cooking. I made a skirt in Junior High School.
I made a skirt in Jr High, too. Then I made my little brother put it on and took a picture🤣🤣. The things we did!
Great job Lisa! You really are a natural. Fingers crossed it gets picked up!
