14:30 That is Veronika, aka the HulkBuster Armor. It was developed by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner so that if Banner ever lost complete control and could not revert back from being the Hulk, the armor was designed to amplify the Iron Man suit's power, as well as have multiple redundancies, so that the Hulk could be incapacitated or, if necessary, killed.
This is a fun movie, I've always preferred it to the first film. Teamwork from the get go, great villain, Vision is perfect and the scene between him and Ultron is maybe one of the best in the MCU. Oh, and the superior Quicksilver, RIP
That red room scene is so dark. Natasha Romanoff's backstory is much darker than any other Avenger. I still remember watching that scene for the first time and thinking about it.

Great reaction as usual, Addie. If you enjoyed James Spader as Ultron, you should check out the TV show "The Blacklist." He gives a truly fantastic performance in that series!
@@Caseytify Agreed. It just seems that nobody can just let a show end, and they have to keep it alive by jumping the shark. At least Spader's performance as Red hasn't gone down.
Certain elements become relevant many movies down the road. The hammer scene served two purposes; one is that it quickly established Vision as trustworthy very quickly, and two, well... When this movie came out an energetic discussion broke out whether Cap moved the hammer. One is that he could move the hammer, but only a teeny bit. Enough to make Thor nervous. The other claimed that he could pick up the hammer, but chose not to, to avoid showing Thor up. Thanos is in the background the next six movies. We don't see him again until Avengers: Infinity War, but he's out there. The next six movies bounce between light and serious, and sometimes a mix. Next up is Ant-Man. A lot of humor.
A lot of folks consider Age of Ultron just a minor cog in the Avengers series, but a lot of important stuff happens. It's the first time we see the Avengers under the new SHIELD without the corruption of Hydra, (Rhodey joins the action at the end), we begin to learn about the Infinity Stones, we witness Jarvis transform into Vision and the Maximoff twins- more importantly Wanda. Also, James Spader was awesome as Ultron.

almost didn't watch this last night with my daughter .. glad I did. That's 2 for 2 now with this and Guardians. It's fun going through these at the same time as you 😆
I remember a comment that said "the more realistic thing about this movie is ultron wanting to destroy humanity after spending thirty seconds on the internet". Still one of the funniest comments I've ever read.
Addie imagine that ultron is so intimidating that there was no need to alter the voice of the actor who gave him voice; they used the voice directly from actor james spader and it was fantastic. It would have been excellent if Ultron as a threat was in another Avengers movie
I love how Iron Man's suits upgrade each film, but it's especially cool how you can acc see that each upgrade seems to fix specific issues he had in the previous films.
Here's a quick rundown of the new characters in this movie. Pietro Maximoff, aka Quicksilver: Super speed and heightened awareness of his surroundings when in motion, making everything appear to be in slow motion. While the film made him and his sister the results of a mad science experiment, in the comics, they're both mutants, meaning they were born with those powers. (This analysis probably won't mean much since he's dead, but one of the big rules of comics is that death is merely an inconvenience 90% of the time.) Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch: Reality warping, allowing her to do basically whatever she wants/needs. Not always emotionally stable, though, which can lead to her powers going out of control. In the comics, she once rewrote the whole universe to basically give everyone their greatest desires. Vision: As an android, he has the basic robot quirks (hacking, analysis, etc.), but he also has control over his own molecular density, meaning he can be almost impervious to damage or phase through solid objects. Despite being an android, though, he's surprisingly human, able to feel emotions to the point of being able to cry.
By the way, the actor who plays Vision is Paul Bettany and he actually is the guy that has voiced Jarvis for the past 14 years. When they asked him if he would like to "up" his part from a speaking role to an acting role he was over the moon and jumped at the chance to do it.
"What are her powers?" precisely! 'nuff said! (this is one of stans catch phrases from his monthly column in marvel comics for years. the other was "excelsior!")

Outstanding reaction, Addie!! Take care until your next video!
I loved seeing Natasha & Bruce's relationship in this film - I *really* wish we could hv seen them explore that relationship further in the future of the MCU films.
To me one of the few good things about Iron Man 3 is it sets up Tony’s mental state (PTSD) and helps explain his thought processes in Ultron (suit of armor around the world).
This is my absolutely favorite avengers movie and the best of the 4 movies in my personal opinion. It’s perfect and I love James spader as ultron. My favorite villain out of the 4 avengers movies. His voice is just absolutely perfect. Raymond reddington as ultron
Hey Addie! For the mid credit scene, the only thing you need to know for it to make sense is that this character was Thanos who appeared in the Gardians of the Galaxy and several mid credit scenes. He hired the blue guy Ronan the Accuser to fetch the Power (purple) stone but the latter betrayed him because he figured he could just use it for his own. When you see him here saying “Fine. I’ll do it myself”, he’s talking about collecting all 6 stones himself instead of delegating to others like Ronan. Voilà! Hope that helps.
If you want to see an alternate (and equally entertaining) in interpretation of Pietro and Wanda Maximov, you should watch "X-Men: Days of Future Past". Granted, Wanda only makes a brief cameo, but it is worth it.
Possibly the most intense Marvel movie to this point, and the breaking of Tony Stark. As the movie progresses we see Stark deal with the consequences of his arrogance and of his narcissistic belief that he is always right and that anything he does is right just because he is doing it. The feardream combined with the terror he has unleashed, one far worse than Stark Industries weapons in the hands of bad people (which was bad enough), leads to Tony being broken and leads to repercussions that affect not just Tony but the Avengers and the world going forward. THIS is what brilliant storytelling looks like, and to keep that level of brilliance going throughout the first three phases of the MCU (with an exception or two along the line) is in itself amazing.
And yes, the Maximovs would change sides just that quickly, because what they've been helping is what they have hated Stark for for years, to a level beyond what destroyed their lives. Ultron's goal is to destroy all lives. Even if they were actually evil instead of just badly hurting and wishing for revenge, they would have changed sides to avoid their own extinction.
Hawkeye and Natasha, as I've probably said before, are and always have been my favorite Avengers, because they're just people who have honed (or were forced to hone) their skills to the utmost. No magic, no suits of armor, godly powers, serums, biological manipulation, just people who achieved seemingly impossible things through their drive and determination. I loved that Hawkeye and his family got really good screentime in this, as did "Auntie" Nat. ❤ Jeremy Renner plays a perfect Hawkeye and Scarlet Johannsen, who I never really thought much of before the MCU, is a great actress who puts so much into making Natasha real. Love it! And, really, Hawkeye and Black Widow are the parents for the Avengers. Clint, who has a family and who understands responsibility maybe more than anyone else, is very much the level headed dad while Natasha, who has always known that she will always be alone because of who and what she is, has found a family that she cares for and will do anything to keep together. Also, the two of them have an ideal and absolute love for each other, all the more special because it is platonic. They'll go to the wall for each other with no hesitation, and then through it. They are so well done for these movies, even if there's some divergence from the canon. But, heck, that happens in the comics too. 😛
from the beginning, I was quite confused as to why Tony was getting the heat for creating Ultron. Because he didn't. Admittedly, him and Bruce were going to the next day, but at that point, all Tony did was analyze the gem, and they all agreed to do that. The Mindstone formed Ultrom on it's own, triggered by nothing but the analysis. This would have happened whether Tony wanted to create Ultron or not.
Originally they was gonna introduce Captain Marvel in that end Scene with Falcon and War Machin, Scarlet Witch and Vision but changed there minds and removed her from the scene.
Thir was worried because the hammer shifted a little when Capt. America tried. There's a theory he could have lifted it, but didn't want to bruise Thor's ego.
She was Natalie Rutschman as a cover identity for SHIELD at Stark Industries. Her actual name is Natasha Romanova. So you were, in a way, right both times.
i think her father, who has Magnetic powers went through that door in Europe before Jane Foster did and got some of that Aether and put it in a necklace for his daughter.
This movie has a lot of good stuff with some "seriously" moments. It also informs you not to get too attached to certain characters. Once again, I suggest "The Great Race" for future viewing. PS: Wait until we see the debut of Wanda and Pietro's real father. He has a real magnetic personality.

@@tailssonicteam1604 Their cast of baddies from the comics is so huge, they haven't really felt the need to re-use many so far. But Ultron is FAMOUS for his endless returns in the comics, so if anyone can come back, it's him.
I remember in theaters me & everyone else was laughing so hard when Vision pick up Thor's hammer. Thor was like wait a minute 😳.
YES! I literally just grabbed an ice cream and sat down thinking, I wish there was a new reaction to watch, and voila, Addie to the rescue!!!!
Oooooo What flavor?
@@TheNamelessFilm Haagen Daz Rocky Road!!!
"A", definitely for Addie! Love your reactions. Thank you for letting me comment. ❤️
Am I the only one who notice that Addie looks like Hannah bayles (the voice teacher). And of course they both look gorgeous im gonna cry 😭❤️
I can't wait for you to watch the next movies in line. They are sooo good. Love you Addie.
that mid credit scene person is Thanos whom we already seen in first Avengers and GOTG...now he wears the gauntlet for the quest of collecting all the six infinity stones and put those on it that means he's coming to Earth as well for the mind stone which now on Vision's forehead...
I'm so glad you're enjoying the journey so far! I know other reactors have trouble sometimes keeping track of names and events only seeing a movie once. But if you ever forget anything always ask the Fandom. We'll do what we can to help without spoilers! Haha
Loved your reaction Addie! It's going to continue you to get better and better from here. I'm excited for you!
33:00 - Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver where re-imagined for the MCU.
originally, they are the children of Magneto, from the X-Men comic, but since FOX held the rights for the X-Men comic at the time...
The Thanos cut scene doesn't really make a whole lot of sense being part of this film, even when you've seen the next phase. Don't worry about it too much :)
Wouldn't it have made more sense for that scene with Thanos to be at the end of gotg credits
Btw Addie, the guy who played Klaw (the weapons dealer in Wakanda) is Andy Serkis, the very same guy who played Golllum from The Lord of the Rings!
Addie at 11:41 "did he just cut his arm off, mother..."
I was ready to say language 😂
Bad language word!
This film turned out to be a pivotal one in the MCU, and led to so many other films.
"Did you just cut his arm off?" Every Phase 2 movie has a scene of an arm being amputated, from Iron Man 3 to Ant-Man.
Civil war Bucky's hand
@@sreejiths9825 I was kinda counting Winter Soldier
The credit scenes are really a treat on second watching when you are not confused by them but actually know what they represent.
Loved your reaction to this movie. Age of Ultron is a great film in my opinion. Ultron is a great villain. James Spader's voice is perfect. It also introduces Vision and Wanda. Wanda especially becomes one of my favourite characters. Yes I wish Quicksilver had of lived but that's my own criticism
Getting really excited for your MCU journey now!
It’s insane how much the mcu has grown
Great reaction as usual, Addie. If you enjoyed James Spader as Ultron, you should check out the TV show "The Blacklist." He gives a truly fantastic performance in that series!
I got tired of it about season 5 or so. Every year we got yet another Shocking New Development.
@@Caseytify Agreed. It just seems that nobody can just let a show end, and they have to keep it alive by jumping the shark. At least Spader's performance as Red hasn't gone down.
@@Caseytify really? That’s my favorite part of the show. I love that something bigger and bigger keeps being introduced
You’re spoiling too much bud. Relax
That credit scene is the mad titan thanos. You saw him before and heard them talk about him in Guardians.
Also, James Spader was awesome as Ultron.
ultron is one of my favorite villains of all time. he is just so interesting. “i have no strings” gives me chills every single time. and once again tony is ready to sacrifice himself for the world!
I really liked this when it came out. You have some really good ones on deck next. Its almost like you were destined to react to these with your Avengers necklace. :)
In case Tony's little quip at 17:14 flew over everybody's head, that's a John Deere tractor in the Barton's shed, hence his little 'Hello, Dear' comment.
I love when Hemsworth, Evans and RDJ are in a scene together
almost didn't watch this last night with my daughter .. glad I did. That's 2 for 2 now with this and Guardians. It's fun going through these at the same time as you 😆
I liked this movie OK when it came out. After watching Wandavision, I love this movie.
I remember a comment that said "the more realistic thing about this movie is ultron wanting to destroy humanity after spending thirty seconds on the internet". Still one of the funniest comments I've ever read.
I particularly love how Ultron quotes Neville Chamberlain and the Bible, giving depth to his self-righteous ideals.
Yesss I loved this one so much and can't wait to see you get acquainted with Wanda!
Addie imagine that ultron is so intimidating that there was no need to alter the voice of the actor who gave him voice; they used the voice directly from actor james spader and it was fantastic. It would have been excellent if Ultron as a threat was in another Avengers movie
You can thank Coulson for that Helicarrier, to see what he's up to watch Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
I love how Iron Man's suits upgrade each film, but it's especially cool how you can acc see that each upgrade seems to fix specific issues he had in the previous films.
Addie: "What are her powers?"
Maria: "...she's weird!"
(This analysis probably won't mean much since he's dead, but one of the big rules of comics is that death is merely an inconvenience 90% of the time.)
Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch: Reality warping, allowing her to do basically whatever she wants/needs.
Great video Addie. I’m looking forward to your reactions to the phase 3 movies.
Gotta love theta protocol, if you’ve watched Agents of shield then ya know
"He still doesn't have an arm." Well, he doesn't regenerate! 🤣
clint’s dad-mentor pep talk is probably my favorite thing from ultron :]
lol you're so wholesome..your reaction to "hide the zucchini" says it all haha
When I am bored I like to watch movie reactions, just subscribed, I really enjoy specifically your reactions in particular ... well done.
11:40 ... "Yeah, a little bit... did he just cut his arm off?! Mother" .... *Addie thinking (if I finish what I'm about to say all the subscribers will be yelling L A N G U A G E !!!!!!!!)
16:55 ... tiny jump scare, Addie (tiny gasp) they got me!
I really enjoyed how you caught on to the amount of exposure Hawkeye got during the movie. They faked us with all of that and then knocked us out with what happened to Quicksilver/Pietro
The emergence of Wanda and Vision starts a great story to come. Stay tuned!
LMAO! My favorite single remark: "She's back to normal! And alive!" LOL! Uh, yeah, I'd call "alive" part of "normal"!
This is my absolutely favorite avengers movie and the best of the 4 movies in my personal opinion. It’s perfect and I love James spader as ultron. My favorite villain out of the 4 avengers movies. His voice is just absolutely perfect. Raymond reddington as ultron
"She (Wanda Maximoff) is insanely powerful."
Addie, you have no idea...
When Stark and Banner try to jump-start a dormant peacekeeping program called Ultron, things go horribly wrong.
*Vision picks up hammer*
*everyone else* "Dafuq?!"
LMAO hilarious moment
Nice reaction, Addie. If you thought that Age of Ultron was good, just wait until you see Infinity War & Endgame, when you get to Phase 3.
0:51 The Avengers beauty shot.
If you want to see an alternate (and equally entertaining) in interpretation of Pietro and Wanda Maximov, you should watch "X-Men: Days of Future Past". Granted, Wanda only makes a brief cameo, but it is worth it.
I just realized that Nat called Tony "Shellhead", which is one of Iron Man's nicknames in the comics.
The purple guy shown in the post credit scene previously showed up in Guardians of the Galaxy and at the end of the first Avengers movie.
Glad you're really starting to like Hawkeye, he's my personal favourite.
from the beginning, I was quite confused as to why Tony was getting the heat for creating Ultron.
THAT crazy suit is known as the Hulkbuster Armor, developed by Tony as a contingency in case he ever had to do something about the Hulk :P
Its really nice to watch this back after watching everything in mcu. Its really a world building.
Age of Ultron keeps getting better every time I watch it!
Originally they was gonna introduce Captain Marvel in that end Scene with Falcon and War Machin, Scarlet Witch and Vision but changed there minds and removed her from the scene.
most underrated mcu film. a better movie than every mcu movie before it
Thir was worried because the hammer shifted a little when Capt. America tried. There's a theory he could have lifted it, but didn't want to bruise Thor's ego.
She was Natalie Rutschman as a cover identity for SHIELD at Stark Industries. Her actual name is Natasha Romanova. So you were, in a way, right both times.
"A" for Addie of course, you're hilarious young lady
I'm jealous of the A she wears
Addie has the funniest unique little laugh! It's like if a fast talking hummingbird had a laugh, it would sound just like Addie's. 😂
i think her father, who has Magnetic powers went through that door in Europe before Jane Foster did and got some of that Aether and put it in a necklace for his daughter.
This movie has a lot of good stuff with some "seriously" moments. It also informs you not to get too attached to certain characters. Once again, I suggest "The Great Race" for future viewing.
PS: Wait until we see the debut of Wanda and Pietro's real father. He has a real magnetic personality.
I don't think he's their father in the comics currently. It's gone back and forth a LOT of times over the years.
@@KthulhuXxx Their parentage gets redefined more often than Hawkeye dies, it seems.
Still can't compare to Jean Grey, tho.
This is arguably not the MCU's best film but it is the best "like a comic book" movie.
Not the most exciting, but a lot of important stuff happens that sets up the rest of the story.
fun reaction video
My favorite part was Addie's reaction when Falcon appeared.
A is definitely for Addie 🙂
“He still doesn’t have an arm” did you want it to grow back haha
