Have you been watching Filipino Teleseryes? 💜 Which one would you recommend to our friends who love K-Dramas? 🤔
if filipinos really want to get to the level where kdramas are at, they need to stop what they've beein doing for decades. some filipino dramas last for years. convoluted storylines and characters. the duration of the drama always depend on the ratings, there's no set timeframe and number of episodes. the writers just play everything by ear and theres no solid storyline, they just make stuff up along the way.. kdramas last 16 to 21 ep. and every episode is like a movie. theres a clear plot thats been written before the drama even started filming.
Maria Clara at Ibarra is literally the only drama that will give you bipolar emotions. One moment you cry hard then a few seconds later you laugh like crazy. Recent episodes are really heavy but there are some really unexpected funny moments and dark humor here and there 🤣. The best part is the off screen jokes/role plays the actors have
I love Maria Clara at Ibarra and I am an American. I do know enough Tagalog and Spanish to understand but for international viewers they really need the English subtitles. I though love love love it and think it could be more open for others to love and appreciate with the English subtitles available on ALL episodes. Please please GMA put good English subtitles!!! I have friends I know would love it too if they could fully understand. Here's to hoping I can share this story soon. Freaking out as there are not many episodes left!!! I will definitely re-watch it.
Here's hoping Netflix USA adds Maria Clara at Ibarra in their future lineup.
Maria Clara at Ibarra hits different if you understand the language. Since it uses two different ways, one taglish which is basically the ones we use nowadays for casual and the other one is the old way, the more formal and elegant way...
Dirty Linen is really good! A must watch.
Maria Clara At Ibarra sets the bar high in Philippine tv drama. MCI is not a cute drama lol it's actually dark based on a graphic novels
Dirty Linen is soooo gooooooooooood🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 100000/10
MARIA CLARA AT IBARRA is SUPERB!!!!
The non-verbal/eye acting and cinematography in Dirty Linen are 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽 and there needs to be more TV period pieces like MCAI.
Maria Clara is Gem and Voltes V is a definition if stepping up our CGI Quality, GMA is such providing Superb Philippines tv shows...
Personally, I'm so happy of what is happening in the TV industry in the Philippines today. They changed a lot of stories that we used to. The stories feels so realistic and relatable.

Thanks for reacting to Maria Clara at Ibarra and soon our Voltes V Legacy ❤️❤️❤️ Thanks for appreciating put hardwork ❤️❤️❤️
The CGI on Voltes V still cannot be compared to US, Japan, and China in terms of editing quality. But this is best one so far that is produced here. As one of the Multimedia Arts students who studies media with passion, it really boost our hope for the Philippine media industry, that it is now starting to improve. Hoping that it will continue and will serve as a stepping stone for young Filipino artists to first try to support local before deciding to find a job outside the country.
Luv Is: Caught In His Arms is pretty good. Cinematography, OST, and storyline is well presented. Didn't expect it since I just saw an edit on tiktok and it caught my attention. I tried watching it and now I am hooked. The cast is pretty damn good as well.
Actually Voltes V is more of a grandfather of power rangers and voltron. The anime version of Voltes V was first aired in the 1960s in Japan. Its like the grandfather of all sentais ( japanese for squad action series). Its just a delight that we are actually recreating it as live action and reintroducing it to todays generation
