Be aware that some keycaps can have cheap printing so be careful with the water. A dry solution would be brushing each one with a dry toothbrush or use a mini vacuum with a brush for each cap.
What I did was wash them dry them off with a normal towel and then I let them sit for like 10 minutes and then I got a blow dryer on low and went over them and they were clean and dry within 25 minutes
