Ed real timely video. I'm experiencing left hip pain and I find if I square the right foot and flare the left significantly I can turn through the shot better with much less pain.. Ball flight though can tend to be draw/hook so I have to pay attention to open club face slightly at address.
Its my left shoulder and elbow along with lower back(back has been worst part lately ) that i struggle not reacting g to the lightening bolts of pain and topping or chunking it lately ..but appreciate any tips for pains im bound to have at one point or another at any given time 👍🏼✌️
As always, this is a great video. What do think about lifting the left heel on your back swing? I’m 66 and my coaches are discouraging it but I get a lot less turn if I keep it down.. Also, any thoughts on how do I stop lifting my heel? Put weight on it at set p?
Shit i already commented but ….you were saying keeping the club more in front of the chest will help promote a draw… for years ive seen tips saying to get the arms ahead (hold body back ) to stop the slice encourage a draw …..not saying i think youre wrong ,especially simce i havent been able to get the arms first thing to work consistently …just curious if both can be true or is there more specifics which would make one way better than the other for certain golfers?
Hey Vic…well both are saying the same thing…most slicers are open with their upper body at impact. If the club stays in front of the chest you should be square at impact. If you truly hold the body back and get arms ahead you should hit big hooks. But with bad slicers I often try to get that feeling for them.

Hahaha. Got a cortisone shot in my hip this afternoon to keep golfing :). I splay my feet like they were in clown shoes…
What about pulling lead leg back with lead hip issues to clear hips? Good video😊

Don’t raise the heel up intentionally but if it naturally lifts let it. A guy named Jack was pretty good letting it lift.
Yep, that’s me…both feet splayed. Works a LOT better even in protecting my lower back.
How do you do the top tracer graphics?
Manually in After Effects, it can be very tedious!

@ ok thanks , this makes sense since yes when i tried the arms ahead i was very “ hooky” most swings 👍🏼✌️
