Looking good man and good idea adding the wood as a stop. Just a idea, you could stand a 1 x 3 up at the end also which would let ya throw all kinds of stuff in there big and small with no worries of things coming out.
There is a screw holding the wall to the wood strip behind where I would have to screw the l bracket if I did it inside. I could have moved shelf in theory but I like where it is lined up against the black floor vent
Agreed, thats another portion of why it took so long to put a shelf up. I REALLY didnt want to pay real money for one and I didnt want to build one completely myself
Can I ask how tall you are? I notice you have to bend forwards a bit for head clearance. I'd like one of those bes in an nv200 but I need to be able to sit up. I'm 6ft tall. Thinking one option is to do a lot less on the floor and ceiling insulation...
Hi, can you sit upright in the van? I ask because most of the builds I've seen put the cladding between the roof crossbeams instead of underneath. I'm guessing this is to win a few inches of height. Also how tall are you and how high is your bed? Cheers

ChrisGoesInVans is very soothing
I love my NV200 like yours! My profile picture shows a little of the inside of it! I notice lots of people are buying NV200s now. Smart buy! 🙋🏻
looks good!
Thanks! When I initially got it I thought the color difference would be a little off putting but I actually like it combined with the other wood
You've no idea how badly I wanta be a Nomad!
Yay your back making some van videos! I follow your channel for nv200 ideas. Hope all is well post fire that paused the van vids.
Looks great, really didn’t need the L brackets for the cabinet, could’ve went straight into your 1X from the back of the cabinet
Good good and it looks like it will work.👍
Chris, since it’s going against the wall and mounting to a wall support. Why didn’t you place the L brackets on the inside of the shelving.

Chris, thanks. That makes sense. You just seem real meticulous and that was out of sorts for you.
Free-99, the best price for a van accessory.
